What the company is doing well ( indeed exceeding my expectations!) is looking after its customers . Long past any reasonable expiry of any normal proffered after care .

Delivery when promised, product as expected, service very good.

I purchased the Forest Master FM6DD Compact 6HP Petrol Wood Chipper expecting it to perform in line with the way it was presented and advertised. Unfortunately, after testing the machine, I found that its practical limitations were not made sufficiently clear before purchase.

While the machine may be suitable for specific conditions, it is much more restricted in real-world use than the advertising initially suggested. Potential buyers should be aware that its performance depends heavily on the type, condition and freshness of the material being chipped, and it is not the all-purpose solution that some customers may expect.

My main disappointment was not only with the product itself, but also with the returns process. After a short period of testing (approximately 40 minutes), the machine was returned in essentially as-new condition, yet a significant deduction was proposed. I do not believe that a standard deduction of this nature fairly reflects any actual loss in value.

Consumers exercising their right to return a product should expect any reduction in refund to be reasonable and proportionate to genuine diminished value, rather than a charge that feels like a penalty for testing whether the product meets expectations.

Overall, I would advise potential buyers to carefully research the machine’s real-world limitations and consider whether it is genuinely suitable for their intended use before purchasing.

A nice machine well made. Could do with a handle to manoeuvre it around, but they are out of stock .

Bought the Electric FMX4-PRO-TW log splitter. It works well but dropping a star because one of the trolley wheels buckled under weight and I had to purchase the all terrain trolley, which added £90 to the cost. For such a heavy machine, trolley wheels seem a bit flimsy.

My experience was a roller coaster, lots of bumps, though wasn’t by fault of forest master. If it was not for their extraordinarily immaculate customer service, Megan Allsopp in particular, I would have moved on to a different product. The service team she lead was amazing. So quick to respond with grace and concern. I felt genuinely cared for. I finally got my machine squared away and so far I love it! Quality is impeccable so far as was the customer care. Because it truly wasn’t just customer service, it surly was customer care. I thank Megan and team from the bottom of my heart for helping our family out with this. It was all worth it in the end. It’s reassuring to know there is still terrific customer care (service) out in this world still, Megan and team from ForestMaster proved it time after time for many weeks in a row. THANK YOU!

Very disappointing experience.

I ordered equipment for my business and was told I’d receive tracking information, but I never received it before the delivery attempts. As a result, I missed two deliveries because I had no idea the parcel was due to arrive. I then had to spend time chasing the company to find out where my order was.

The delay meant I couldn’t use the equipment when I needed it, which impacted my business. I contacted customer service hoping they would acknowledge the inconvenience and offer some form of goodwill gesture, but they refused, stating that the issue was the courier’s responsibility.

While the order may have been dispatched on time, as the customer I dealt with this company, not the courier. I was disappointed that they took no responsibility for the overall customer experience.

Based on my experience, I can’t recommend this company. I hope they improve both their communication and their approach to customer service.

Rang Forest master about a problem with my log splitter .
They were so incredibly helpful and asked for photos to identify the type of log splitter and the problem.
They advice was repairable and they had the part in stock .
I took the log splitter down to them and within 30 minutes it was repaired.
The quality of their customer service and advice is absolutely first class .
I can’t praise them highly enough for incredible rapid quality service .
I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone who needs help with log splitters

Everyone has there method of verifying a product prior to purchasing. But there is always an element of uncertainty until the product arrives. Well the Forest Master garden shredder arrived on time with the correct amount of packaging. I elected for the self assembly option. Two spanners required to assembly. With the provision of these spanners it would have been a perfect 10. Assembly only took 10 minutes handy packaging for the fittings. When not under load the noise is lower than i expected. I elected for the electrical shedder for two reason lower maintenance requirements and the convince of not having to purchase petrol and it going out of date.
My top tips are the longer the branches are the easer to feed them into the shredder and on completion of the last shredding let the shredder run for a minute to ensure that next time you use it there's nothing growing inside. With more and more councils charging for garden waste some by bin this reduce the volume by 10 fold. If you have a compost bin ideal size to go on the compost or allow it to dry and then ideal again for being used on a barbeque .
Its worth the money for the benefits it bring to managing garden waste.

Ordered a 22 ton Log splitter promised me next day delivery still hasn’t arrived a week later. Absolutely no correspondence from Forest Master I do all the calling and they just keep telling me it will arrive first thing next morning for the last 3 days. Disappointed is an understatement-they don’t even know where it is -somewhere in Devon….. !!! It would be nice to write a glowing review after using the equipment but sadly due to not being here I can’t.

Purchased an all terrain stand for my FM16 Wood Splitter, the stand arrived in good time but it proved to be incompatible with my FM16 due to it being a 2017 model. I emailed the technical info dept. and was told I need to ship it back for a refund. I suggested the website put a note stating the incompatibility with 2017 models or earlier. No up-front indication from Forest Master if they'd reimburse my shipping costs. I've wasted a lot of time on this and they don't care. Poor show! Avoid these people, their support is sub standard.
