I recently bought a copy of *Shogun*, and I have to say, the book is absolutely fantastic! The illustrations, paper quality, and overall finish are outstanding. But that was not all! Unfortunately, my copy arrived damaged during shipping. I contacted the Folio support team, and their response was instantaneous, courteous, and effective. Within a week, I received a perfect replacement copy of *Shogun*. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Most beautiful version of this book I have ever seen.
Beautiful typography, beautiful paper, beautiful to the eyes and hands.
This book is gorgeous. Just a complete work of art.
The Folio Society edition of Shōgun truly does justice to a masterpiece of Japanese culture.
One of my favorites, beautifully rebound.
The binding and slip case for the books are so beautiful. Additionally, the illustrated art in the books themselves are fabulous.
I had forgotten how good this book is. I have lived in Japan, so there were a lot of resonances re (reading) this. The quality of the book is not done justice by pictures on the website. The book construction is reminiscent of the quality of Folio’s George R. R. Martin’s books.
Beautiful books.
