Amazing book. Truly a masterpiece.

It is still in it's waxed paper because it's a Christmas treat for myself and my partner. Heavy tome in a quite luxurious sleeve though. Christmas can't come soon enough as we both love this book.

I also got Player Of Games, hope you guys release Use Of Weapons :)

I have not read it yet, but I expect to enjoy it.

Quality's as good as always, and the art is, as ever, a fantastic complement to the text. VfM, you're in an awkward position -- are you an excellent, but expensive, premium hardback? Or a bargain, entry-level, fine press?

I recently started purchasing quality books and will say that I was not particularly happy with another big publisher’s product, but Folio’s are absolutely wonde

Christmas gift for the homie - he loved it!

An absolute must-have for Iain Banks fans. The first volume I've seen that really brings out the epic grandeur of this space opera. A little treasure of a book.

good story but to expensive for its publication.

A lovely edition of this novel.

Beautiful edition of a singular and influential book.

I have to confess, it's not my favourite Banks book (come on Folio, let's have The Bridge!) and in part I bought this to, hopefully, support future Folio editions (of the Crow Road!) whether Iain M. Banks (Feersum Endjinn!) or Iain Banks (Walking on Glass!) but the presentation undoubtedly enhances a significant work of modern sci-fi. A beautiful book.

Great book. Beautiful binding and craftsmanship.

Beautiful book, well bound, lovely paper. The only weak point is that the illustrations are a little lacklustre and generic. For example, the very first illustration corresponds poorly with the author's description of the ship. This rather undercuts the premium experience of the volume.
