Nervous and Sensitive dog support Flo4Paws - Specialist Dog Behaviourist for Nervous and Sensitive Dogs I am a member of the National Institute of Canine Ethics (NICE), specialising in dog training and provide dog behaviourist support to help nervous, anxious or reactive dogs feel calmer and more confident. I am based in Bingham, Nottinghamshire and can support surrounding counties of Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Rutland. My name is Flo and my dog is Gatsby and together we are Flo4Paws, as he has taken me on the journey to understand how best to support him as a sensitive dog and nervous dog and to help others. I understand the unique challenges of owning a dog who becomes scared or overwhelmed and who needs their own space. I also have a background in Human Psychology, which allows me to provide a genuine and empathetic human touch to the dog human relationship as this is as much about you the owner. Together, we’ll strengthen the bond between you and your dog, making every pawprint count. Both you and your dog should feel listened to, safe and secure and never judged.

Helping our anxious Border Collie

We asked Flo to come and help with our rescue border collie, after an initially promising start we were having issues with visitors to the house and fear of strangers when out amd about. Flo highlighted conerns about her running gait and so we investigated with the vet. Sadly, our dog has hip displasia but also had a fractured tooth and now with the tooth removed is a different dog. She is already so much happier. Without working with Flo we never would have known she was in pain. There is a long road ahead with her hips and building a fulfilling life for her but I am confident we will be able to walk it with her with Flo's support too.

I wish there were more stars for this review

Where to begin with this review! Flo came out to help me with my two girls who virtually screamed when anyone came in or doorbell went. If I had guest visit they continued barking until the guest had been sitting down for a while. Even then if the guest moved they would kick off again. Flo was wonderful with them and myself. She would send a write of the days session and suggest different things for me to do with them. I was also able to keep in touch by text if I had a hiccup. I put these suggestions in place and the difference in my girls is astonishing. To say thank you isn't enough. Flo you have been so supportive over the weeks you have been coming. I can't thank you enough you have been a God send. xxx
