I have been on FR since Oct 2013. If I had known about it earlier, I would have been a KS backer. I was dedicated, logging on daily for the vast majority of my 12 years. I only left for a couple short breaks, one for only a few months and the other for a couple years, but even during those breaks I had FR in the back of my mind.

I personally used FR during a very dark time in my life to help me get through. With that, I introduced plenty of people to the website, some whom were dedicated long-term like my wife. I cared quite a lot for FR and had no problems paying them plenty of my IRL money to buy the virtual currency gems.

They have banned my account because of "multiple accounts" all because my friend gifted me things too often, apparently. I also paid for gems for this person as a gift, so that is being used against me as well. I personally have never literally broken their rules, but because I interacted too much with a friend, they called it "multiple accounts."

I have tried to explain this to them, but loyalty doesn't matter one lick, and generosity is strongly discouraged. They don't care that I poured over a decade into their site. They don't care about the hundreds of dollars I've poured into it. The "appeal process" is a joke - it's a void to scream at where they will reply telling you to make a new account. I thought that was the issue in the first place!

They will gladly take away your entire account, offer you the reasoning but don't care to hear your own, and then will tell you the only "solution" is to start over from scratch.

Their reply: "Flight Rising is a game. Our game has rules which prohibit cheating. The age of an account, the gem purchase history of an account, the activity time of an account does not exempt an individual from our rules and the penalties associated with breaking our rules." They then made it clear that they're done talking to me about it, and that any further attempts to appeal my account will be totally ignored. Very mature; what a spit in the face.

That doesn't even touch the fact that it took them 4 whole years to get rid of a transphobic and ableist co-owner. Not to mention that any ounce of criticism posted to the forums is shut down as quickly as they can. They do not care about their users. They absolutely don't.

Don't waste your time, and if you do, at the very least don't waste your money on FlightRising. If you want somewhere else to have fun, I suggest Chicken Smoothie, DragCave.net, Neopets, GaiaOnline, and basically anywhere else.

Was a member for 12 years and stopped playing for a bit but when I came back after 3 years I made a 2nd acct forgetting that we could only have 1. Better not forget you had an account cause they don't care at all but dont worry they are really good at typing words on a screen that make it look look they care. They dont.

My acct was closed and even with offering to pay a fine or to ben banned the answer was a callous no. Then they closed my husband's acct because guilty by association it seems.

For a children's site about fake dragons there is no appeal process. It doesnt matter to them but dont worry you can make a brand new acct and start from the bottom. Eff off.

Heartless, callous being running FR these days. Dont spend money on them if you still have an account because you might do 1 thing wrong and then its all taken away from you.

This year I have spent over $200 on the site in gems. Do they care? Nope. I have invited people to the site. Do they care? Nope.

My god - the self righteousness of it all astounds me. The power high they live on is unmatched.

THESE ARE FAKE DRAGONS ONLINE there is no reason to have such harsh rules for honest mistakes and the worst part is that its not just me. They just get off doing this to people.

Had an absolutely awful experience with their rude and arrogant customer service. They have zero respect for privacy, did the absolute bare minimum, and accused my friend and I of “multi-accounting” when she sent me (I had literally just joined) the stuff on her account that she had not touched in 3 years. We explained the situation to them in detail and they completely ignored everything. Disgusting on their part, and if I could give them a zero, I absolutely would. Incredibly rude and assuming team. They lost two players with their vile and aloof attitudes.

Was good until cirrus
The cirrus dragons had just released and I posted some questions on how to attain them because I was confused and mentioned about how it felt like it was very elitist for people who can use real money.

They released the new dragons and a pay only familiar, the dragons are obtainable only by breed scrolls which is something that was implemented years previously but I don't spend my every moment on the site and wasnt there for the release of the previous ones and didnt know this. So my comment was taken as an attack.

Apparently I wasn't the only one who took issue with the release however I still was happy to participate and made a design I was going to post when I was forced logged and when I tried to log back in I got an error saying my account was closed for breaking the one account rule.

I have NEVER had an issue with this site or the mods till now. If this issue is resolved I'll continue to play but I will no longer help support the site with money they have lost an avid player, furthermore I will continue to spread my experience to whoever will listen in hopes they refuse to try to play the game or if they do will quit playing or spending they're actual money there.

Recommendation: My recommendation is if you choose to play don't use your money for anything on the site, it's not worth it

Been playing this game for almost 10 years.
Love the community, love the art, the design the works.

These people will steal from you. They close accounts with no regards to actual rule breaking while letting blatant rulebreakers run rampant and face no consequences for taking your money and then locking everything you paid for behind the lie of "rule-breaking". Do not support this game until they start caring about their players.
