Pay attention to these reviews. I disregarded it because the book was such a great deal. I ordered Alchemised for my daughter with sprayed edges and a hardback book. We ordered 10 weeks before Christmas so my daughter would get it by Christmas. WE heard nothing. I wrote to them several times. They NEVER responded. Christmas came and Christmas went. December 29th I received an email that said it would be here by January 20th. We though ok, it could be her Birthday present. At least it was coming. We got it and it was a regular paperback. By this time they had stretched it out so it was too late to make a Paypal claim. I paid way more for a paperback than I would have from here. I feel like they stretched it out so that they could send out a regular paperback and it would be so late that I couldn't do anything about it but be happy with a paperback. I thought, nah, it won't happen to me. But it did. I even contacted paypal. They said it had been too long. This is intentional on Fishpond's part. They tell you it is going to be this long so there is nothing you can do about it, whether you receive it or not, or receive the wrong product, which I did!. I paid 3 times what I would have paid here for the paperback book I got. And waited 3 1/2 months.

Owns an eBay shop that sells items they don't have in stock! Total scam. Chased when my books didn't arrive but I was made to wait 3 weeks before they admitted they never had them and had to cancel the order.

Ordered item. Delivery date was 3weeks but this was not an issue. Delivery date was extended by 4 weeks with no notification. Requested refund which was processed quickly but not for full amount queued and they said that they would wave a £5 restock fee on this occasion. Don’t order from them they do not have the items in stock and I suspect they are bargaining on people not noticing they don’t refund the full amount.

Shipment date moved back by 4 weeks, no communication I only found out after trying to track my order. I therefore cancelled as it would miss the birthday the books were a gift for and they charged me £10 in charges to cancel - again no communication. Managed to finally get the money refunded after having to prove it wasn't that I just changed my mind. Terrible company!

I made the mistake of not reading reviews before I purchased.

Ordered an item, was give a delivery date and nothing arrived.

When I contacted them they then changed the delivery date but had no tracking whatsoever.

Luckily I'd paid with Paypal and got them to step in and I got a refund.

The reality was that they had no stock of the item, even though they said they'd posted it and it was on it's way they later admitted they never had any stock!

Just a total waste of space that should never be allowed to trade.

Realised this was a scam company. Wish I’d have seen the reviews before ordering. Glad I used PayPal as easy to get money back.

If I could give 0 stars I would . Didn’t receive the item and when I cancelled my order they said they would charge me . Not nice .

I haven't received my items, the company is not responding

The item was never recieved by evri at all. So after one month I had no choice but ask for a refund. Will be interesting to see if I get it. But I won't get my hopes up as so far this company doesn't live up to the standards. Customer service via email wasn't much help either didn't even apologise that I hadn't got it a month after ordering.

A complete con. They advertise items that they don't have, and with no intention of sourcing, then when you inevitably cancel, they charge you a £5 cancellation fee!!!!

Ordered on 4th, still not arrived by 22nd. After contacting them they said their supplier has a delay. This means they are selling items that they do not actually own. Avoid this company!!!!

Very slow delivery times that they didn't tell me about, so when i cancelled the order on the same day I was charged a restock fee of £10. Pretty annoying seen as the cost of the whole order was £30. Cancelling wouldn't have caused them any problems at all.

Advertised as Free UK Postage but when you go to pay its minimum of £2-99

Weeks to promise to deliver books. Simply dreadful service. I will not use this company again.

Once again I wish I had come here before ordering. They have stupid fees if you want to cancel an order that they won't ship until a month has passed.

Wouldn’t give any stars! Fraudster company! Ordered a large wooden dress up doll toy through OnBuy.com and received a soap & glory hand cream from a company I’ve never heard of - Fishpond. No delivery note or idea who it was from until I contacted OnBuy to see where my item was. This is obviously so they can put a tracking number on to say item has been delivered. Response was, package has been delivered. AVOID at all costs. OnBuy need to remove this company from their site as judging by the reviews it happens frequently.

I ordered a book which was being despatched from Australia. The book was about a Kiwi bird, which I was unable to buy in the UK. After ordering I, stupidly looked at Trustpilot, I know I should have done so before placing the order, however, I am glad that I had already placed it, as I have had NO problems whatsoever. The order was placed on 2nd August 2023, I received an email confirmation stating the order had been received and again that it had been despatched. The order ARRIVED today, the 10th August in perfect condition. So my message is, don't be swayed by all of the negative reviews, I had an excellent experience and no postage costs either which is a bonus.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. FRAUDSTERS. ORDERED SOMETHING OFF ONBUY.COM AND RECIEVED SOMETHING FROM THIS COMPANY WHICH WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND NOT ANYTHING LIKE WHAT I HAD ORDERED. FAKE COMPANY.

Couldn't be bothered to reply to messages after clearly sending the wrong item. Just screams of a scam company overall - they hope enough people don't return the valueless item they send out and by not replying, you can't get a refund.

PayPal protection is a godsend for companies like this.
