Fishing Republic Arvostelua 

We visited Fishing Republic for some angling equipment. We approached a company representative for assistance. The person we spoke to was Nicholas. With his help we came away with all the equipment we needed, and spent more than we intended but with his advice remained within budget. He was very helpful, represented the company well and was a credit to Fishing Repubilc. We would certainly return to the shop again. We would definitely recommend Nichols.

Excellent staff as usual. Great banter. The only thing that lets this shop and team down is the amount of stock they have.

Do not trust this website. Take your order saying they have stock then cancel and refund shortly after (£5) less than the order amount

I ordered a 1 litre bottle of fish attractant online and received a bicycle instead. If that wasn't bad enough I emailed them using the fishing republic email address on the day of receipt. The email was not delivered as a temperory problem with that email address which 8 days later was still not receptive to my emails. Phoned customer services who suggested I email the details explained the email address doesn't work so used the go outdoors email. Sent two emails, no reply. Used the online contact form. Got a reply but could not correspond as the contact page uses the fishing republic email address that doesn't receive emails also couldn't rate the service either as that was out of action too. Stuck with large parcel containing bicycle in porch for ten days now! Update on 20-07-2023. What looks like a response below is another presumed overloaded email address temporarily unavailable which means again my message cannot get through and so it goes on!!!

Customer service excellent and quality bait at rock bottom prices! I went in the shop in need of advice and Chris helped me throughout my visit to sort everything I needed! An added bonus was a special offer on maggots, £2 a pint!

Having payed for next day delivery, goods never received, contacted fishing republic spoke to operator, replaced order promised delivery next day over phone, still not received, still waiting. not good will not be using fishing republic again.

I ordered a fairly large order of fishing tackle online.
One of the items was a 3 pack of fishing line which I ordered 2, so 6 spools of line.
I received only 2 spools of line from one pack.
Emailed the company with explanation and photos as I couldn't get through on the phone, no reply. Called the next day and was told I need to return the product either by post or driving to one of there depots. Either way this costs me time and money. Not worth buying from this company. I was about to buy a seat box and accessories.

My husband was looking for a fishing chair. He explained what he wanted and had excellent advice, the chair we bought had everything he needed and more, he is very happy! (It was also cheaper than the one he initially looked at).
Would highly recommend explaining what you want, if we hadn’t he would have ended up with one that wouldn’t have been half as versatile and wouldn’t have worked for him.

Not often I write a review but felt I had to give a shout out to Paul at Fishing Republic in Crewe! What a lovely helpful guy who went out of his way to sort out my query. Majority of customer service staff could learn a thing or two from him! Thanks Paul 😊

very good selection of fishing tackle staff were very friendly and curtious they did not try to push you into buying more than you wantedin fact there is not a thing i could fault them on brilliant

As usual all the staff were excellent and helped me to try and find what i wanted. The trouble was once again the shop has loads of specialist tackle but not enough supply of your day to day items, such as pellets, terminal tackle etc. There always seems to be excess supplies of bivvies, camper beds, sleeping bags etc,( which you only buy once), but when it comes to different size pellets,( repeat buys) the shelves are empty or lacking in variety. I think this shortage of essentials could result in customers going elsewhere.

Sent me the wrong product! Had to drive from Rugby to Coventry to return it. Couldn't trust their return policy which they would've charged me for a £5 item. Staff in shop incl. manager had no sympathy instead said will be 2 weeks before I receive a refund! Needless to say I've learnt my lesson and won't be a returning customer.
