I have been 2 months waiting on a card. It's always on its way . I am contacting my state attorney general office to file a complaint. They will not put it back on my card and they are living if they will mail it

I paid my final balance and immediately first progress added on another 31 dollars. I feel scammed by them. They are not treating me fairly. I'm very disappointed. Stay away from them.

Checked the site 3 days in a row checking to see my APR zero account balance. Check today low and behold there's the annual fee. Two days after the due date. This is the absolute worse card ever. I worked to hard for my credit for these types of tactics.

They blocked my account when I tried to withdraw my money. I was stuck until GLLP • UK helped me recover everything. Be cautious of failed withdrawals.

I have been with First Progress aka First Latitude aka Assent for 5 years and joined them when they where advertised by credit karma to help start my credit. After 4 years My information was hacked and fraudulent charges where made by a chatbot on my card for small amounts that I did not notice for a short period of time. When I caught it The company settled the issue and sent me another card. It did take a few months for the balance to transfer to the new card but it did. When I had recieved the new card I immediately switched my automatic withdrawal purchases to this new card and paid the balances immediately the same way that I always paid through bill pay with my bank. I made a total of purchases in June for 159$ In July I paid the total balance but recieved a new statement saying that it was not paid so I continued to submit payments while I was waiting for them to catch and adjust the issue. When I kept accumulating late fees and was nearing 300$, I called
the company to explain to them that I had paid these charges. The person that I spoke with was rude, kept repeating the same response, sounded like she was new and untrained, would not listen to what I was saying and told me the supervisor was busy and said that I needed to pay the bill related to that account number because their accounts are right. I hung up dumbfounded because I was not able to make them understand they but I knew I had the statement in my hand that it was paid. I spent 3 days going over these statements and realized that these had 2 different account numbers to them. I did not understand why I would have 2 seperate accounts. The statementfor the account that had fradulant charges on it said that it was closed. I did not authorize this. I tried to call again and had the same issue as with the first agent. I then recieved statements saying that my account has been closed! I checked my credit report and it had lost over 150 points because the account was closed for late payment. Late payment that was never late. Then it was reporting that I was 30 60 90 days late. I had never been late on anything on my credit report, It also caused me to be late on a payment I had automatically withdrawing from this card. Luckily I caught it after the 30 days. I gathered all of my proof and sent a certified letter to the credit card company asking them to fix the issue. They still did not. I have been at a lost the past few months and I did not know what my next steps where. I disputed every week for 2-3 months through equifax and through credit karma. Still got denied. I finally found a lawyer to call and they told me there are more first steps I gotta take which could take another 6 months. I have been stressed and worried because of this. I am on a mission to make this right and to make others aware of this scam.

Payments take 10 days to clear even if you have paid your payment on time they will still charge a late fee!! WORSE COMPANY EVER!!!! Can't want to close this stealing fraud scamming company!!

I would not take the same risk again. These operators are experts at not making you see the red flags I was just completely ignored when an error arose. I couldn’t withdraw a cent and realized I’d been scammed. GlobalAidRecovery helped me recover my funds from this fraudulent site.

These people told my us that they closed an account then we had a detective investigation showing one of their own employees were using the information I DO NOT TRUST THEM MAYBE MAKE SURE THAT YOU RECEIVE A RECEIPT OF CLOSURE AND MAKE IT GET APPROVED FROM THR FIRST PARTY HOST SYSNVUS. THESE PEOEPL MUST FIX THESE ISSUES SOON OR THIS COMPANY WILL CLOSE SOON.

have paid balance in full for years. some "discrepancy" allowed for the worst customer service ive ever had. I call to cancel my card. about 45 days until I get MY OWN money back. they are awful and predatory. I have been telling everyone I know to NEVER go through LEAST Progress Card

How are these people still in business? Run, do not walk away from this company!
I’ve been fighting for over a year after closing my account to pay them the money they said, I owed them… $6.97. That charge is now inflated to well over $100, after interest and late fees. Every time I call them, I’m given the same runaround. They cannot help me, because my account has been closed, so as a result there’s no way for me to pay them the money I dubiously “owe” them.
A recently informed me that my account had been sold to Reliant Capital Solutions. Which ironically, was welcomed news, as I was hopeful, at least they would be able to take my payment and close the account as paid in full. However, after contacting them, it became obvious Fir$t Progre$$ had screwed me over once again. They had failed to provide them to correct Social Security number or date of birth, so there was nothing Reliant Capital could do to help me.

Literally the scum of the earth. I live outside the US and wanted to keep my credit alive while I was away. I got one of their cards just to make sure I had something active, well tl;dr I lost my debit card back in Oct and cancelled it. First Progress charged me an annual fee, then 3x the annual fee in late fees and reported it to the credit bureaus, which is how I found out the account was still active. Asked them to update, they said no it was right. Closed the account, they never refunded the deposit, and CFPB wont' do anything about it. Stay away

Stay Away! I had 2 credit cards through this company. Both cards were at 0 balance and I wasn't monitoring them. The $29 annual fee was added to my the balance without me knowing. They made no attempt to contact me, and now I have TWO late payments on my credit, which they were supposed to be helping Build up. Terrible service, and they refuse to remove the late payments. Plus they just sent me a letter saying they are cancelling the accoutn because I disputed it with my credit bureau. AVOID at all costs.

This company literally f/d up my excellent credit history of 10 yrs. I had 2 credit cards through this company. Both cards were at 0 balance.Therefore I wasn't carrying them. The yearly fee came out of the balance they decided to call me after 90 days of those payments being overdue. They only took 1 late payment off leaving me with 4 60day past due payments on my credit report they can kiss my black ass

If giving NEGATIVE stars was possible these SCAMMERS wouldn’t even be around..About a week ago on Jan/16th or 17th I thought I was making a good choice in trying to build my credit and was offered to sign up with First Progress. BIGGEST mistake of my life, the process itself was rather easy but VERY uniformed and here it is 1/26 OVER a week later and I haven’t gotten so much as a notice of opening with my account number let alone the actual card that I made the $350 DEPOSIT for what I was understanding to be a secured credit card. Today, FIRST this morning I called First progress and spoke with a supervisor names Maddie (Operator ID: Q62) who really seemed unsure about company policies herself and ended up telling me my funds are on a 30 day hold WITHOUT notice and that if I wished to close the account and request my DEPOSIT back that I’d have to write a letter and allow 2 weeks for processing to see if my refund on said deposit would be approved. She also REFUSED to allow me to get Navy Fed on a joint phone call so they could also be aware of the phone call and what was interpreted so I hung up. All the while I NEVER received the 1st notice of the account actually opening NOR the actual card. IMMEDIATELY following that, I called Navy Fed to file a dispute to which they said it’s pending investigation and not much they could do. So, I tried calling First Progress a 2nd time and spoke with a supervisor (John-Operator ID:S81) to which he was going back and forth on policies as well, refuses to give me ANY kind of reference ID for the call and also said there wasn’t a way to send an email verifying the account was being closed, which is my opinion is preposterous as it was via EMAIL i received notice of approval of such secured credit card but in either case now a MILITARY family is out $350 while spouse is deployed all while having an email that also state the $350 was a DEPOSIT and IS refundable…PLEASE make this RIGHT!!!

My wallet was stolen they have two police reports and nothing Ive had the card since 2021 never been late or anything and when my card was maxed out they reported the negative to my credit and destroyed it within 7 days im disappointed in them .

Customer service is very rude, waiting on a new card for 3 months now, to turn around for them to say it got lost in now I have to wait another month to receive a new card once again in it still might not come. Just inconvenient, no good at all. Imma lay this card off in close the account just no good it sucks, the card and customer service. They never know anything either how do they even get these jobs. Just so disappointed

They are literally stealing our money. Didn’t send us a card for two years after the first one expired but continued to charge fees, when we called about it they ran us in circles, didn’t give us a way to make payments before a late fee was accrued and repeated this process multiple times.

They don’t do anything for themselves! Any issue you have they will say “idk I have to send this to another department it’ll take 3-5 business days” and after that time if there’s no answer they will say they must send another email and allow another 3-5 business days. Will tell you to send over documents to release payment early but the process for “early removal” takes 2-3 weeks and your payment has already been released by then ! Everybody will give you diff answers ! I will not be making a year with this card and credit repair need to stop referring this product to people ! Even if you get a manager call back they will also tell you answers like “that’s right I don’t know and you have to wait the time frame” this is beyond bad service for bad credit !!
