I am writing to share my deeply disappointing experience with firstireland . I recently contacted their sales team regarding taxi insurance, and unfortunately, the interaction was far from professional.

I spoke with a representative named James, who informed me that, despite having three years of taxi driving experience, I did not meet the company’s minimum requirement of four years. When I inquired about their underwriting partner, Allianz, and mentioned that I had already received a quote directly from Allianz, James reacted angrily and used inappropriate language.

This behavior is completely unacceptable, and I strongly believe that Mr. Garraher should be made aware of this incident. Such conduct does not reflect well on the company and is detrimental to business relationships. I urge you to take appropriate action.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope no one else has to go through such an unpleasant experience.

I truly appreciate the level of service Garry provided and would highly recommend Garry to anyone looking for an insurance agent who is knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely customer-focused.

After dealing with a few other insurance companies regarding motor insurance quotes .I found the experience dealing with Gary brilliant, it’s my first time getting car insurance. he went through everything over a hour dealing with me explaining ,and the quote was the cheapest definitely recommend him to deal with

Would not recommend First Ireland (Gallagher company). When I try to ring them the wait time is crazy, I have been on hold at times for over 40 minutes, when I email no response. I changed cars after been insured with them for over two months and had a horrible experience, changed insurance company for the new car as I got a cheaper quote and was told I have an outstanding balance when everything was paid up front, again tried to contact them to again be hold hold for crazy wait times and no help.

Had a great experience dealing with Dean today. Very good to deal with and it felt like dealing with an actual person and not just somebody reading off a script.

Gary was the individual I dealt with today over the phone, he was very helpful, explained everything I needed to know in very clear terms. Very satisfied with the service, would recommend.

As a woman in my mid-30s, who only recently got my full driver’s license and had my first child, I dreaded dealing with insurance companies because I thought it would be so complicated. Rebecca was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Over the past few weeks I had spent a lot of time dealing with insurance and it has been so stressful. Rebecca made everything clear, explained everything thoroughly and had everything sorted within the hour. She was incredibly friendly and kind. I can’t recommend her enough. An absolute gem to your company, if that level of help continues , I’ll be a customer for life. Thank you so much Rebecca ☺️

I would like to highlight the great customer service that i received from Winifed Agbu today. Today is the first time I've had a completely smooth interaction via phone and email with First Ireland to sort out my insurance. She was delightful to deal with and clearly very proficient and professional in her work. Sorting out renewals and a slight issue with a 2nd policy I have, took just a couple of minutes and I had email confirmations of everything shortly thereafter. Thank you Winifred for making this process a hassle free and easy one.
