Can’t recommend Manish enough. He was so helpful to me trying to get my daughter onto an insurance policy. I rang him before I had even bought the car to see what was the best way to go about it all and he was so helpful. I said I would contact him when I did buy my new car. He was so friendly and nothing was any trouble. Lovely to deal with nice people. Any other insurance companies I rang were so unhelpful…. I will be sending more people his way.

Tried to get classic car insurance. Gave them all my details and car is well. Was told expect call after an hour, but no one call me back. Rang them next day in the morning and asked what is the story, and they told me to expect call today. Guess what no one called me back again. Now 6th. Day since all my details have been given to them with no call back with any answer. No appreciation.

Mairead was really professional and directed the call with total professionalism and great customer care as they knew what exactly I was looking for. I got the email with the quote and it was hassle free and by far the fastest query resolution I had in Ireland. Great customer awareness and top class customer service. 5 stars ! Thank you for the experience.

Invariably you are left hanging on the phone for 20/25 minutes and you give up in frustration if you’re trying to contact them. Individuals one deals with are invariably pleasant and do their best. This company has no regard for dealing with their clients who are trying to make contact with them by phone. Management have no concern about customer service.

They were ripping me off for over 4 years, increasing insurance each year. Lied to me on the phone each year as to why they increased it. I got curious this year as I got another increase so after the first month was up I checked other companies, got a quote for half the cost, I contacted first Ireland to cancel my insurance, I had to send my disk and details in before they would cancel. I done that and I got a call from them saying I had to pay a further 30 euros. I paid it and cancelled. Then I received an email saying I owe a further 144 euros on top of the 120 I had already paid. I'm a 45yr old man driving most of my life and they were charging me 260 euros for one month's insurance, I found it diabolical, I rang them and got a callback from a manager, he was not interested in listening and after that one phone call I received an email giving me 7 days to pay it or its going to court, mind you this all has happened in the space of a few weeks and the threat email came immediately after the phone call, saying they had tried to make contact with me. This company is greedy gangsters and I wouldn't recommend them to my enemies. Absolute disgrace this company is.

I have been with First Ireland a long time and they never fail with their customer service.

Very difficult to get through on the phone. I was once on hold for over 20 minutes. doing a simple insurance transfer takes such a long time and is very frustrating.

Got help and answers on my questions. Stuff is wery helpful. Reason why I stay with First Ireland for years.

I paid for my van insurance 4 weeks in advance, I didn’t receive any documentation until 1 week after renewal date, I made 4 phone call in the meantime requesting documentation each phone call I got different excuses. I requested to speak to a manager I was informed they would ring back within 48 hours . No phone, phone call to date.
