One of the easier vendors to work with for my wedding. They were flexible, concise, and low-maintenance.

My one complaint was that they were pretty difficult to reach so I could pay them. I would call, get put on hold for 15 minutes, the automated message told me they would call me back, they would call me back after 5pm only to tell me they couldn't help me because they had to take payment before 5pm. They would arrange a call back for "sometime tomorrow" which I would inevitably miss because I have a job and can't just sit around waiting for them to call me at their convenience.

Were it not for that back-and-forth which took about a week to resolve I would have given them five stars.

I booked First Student Charter Bus for a wedding on July 24 right outside of Springfield, Massachusetts. To start, it was very hard to get in touch with them at the national call center. However, I was able to get through and book a bus to stop at multiple hotels and bring guests to my wedding, as well as run the same trip back at the end of the night to bring guests home. I received an email confirmation detailing my itinerary and the times of departure. I had booked the bus to leave the venue at 11:30 PM once my wedding was over. My guests arrived to the wedding without a problem, which was excellent! However, I went outside at 11:25 once my wedding had wrapped up to find no bus in sight. Another bus on location that I had booked from another company told me that the First Student bus left an hour ago filled with guests from the other wedding that was happening at our venue. Some of my guests were stranded with no bus and I burst into tears at the end of what is supposed to be the most important night of life. We called the emergency number and someone did answer, but we received no apology for the ordeal. They did end up sending a bus over, which was great, but I already felt like the end of my night had been ruined. At that point, some stranded guests had called ubers on their own dime because they did not want to wait for the bus to come all the way back. Everything did work out in the end, but I will be calling the center to ask for a partial refund, as First Student did not follow through with what they said they would do and left me extremely upset on the night of my wedding. They left an hour before they were supposed to on the contract, with guests from another wedding. It was a disappointing experience.

The buses were on time and the drivers were very polite. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was some confusion on the air conditioning. One of the bus drivers ran the heat with the a/c on the trip to the destination. Thank goodness it wasn't a sweltering day! Other than that everything went as planned - buses were on time which is the most important feature when you are shuttling guests to/from a weeding. I would recommend First Charter Bus rental.

I rented 2 buses for my daughter's wedding. The buses were clean and the drivers were punctual, courteous and professional. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

We used first charter for our bus transportation for a wedding on August 8, 2020. We had the best experience with this company from the staff staying in touch with me and updates with COVID-19, and an excellent bus driver who provided a safe and speedy route to and from our reception and hotel! I would absolutely recommend using them!!!!

Ebony arrived right on time, was very welcoming, and readily turned up the heat for our visitors who were chilly. It was a pleasure to travel with her!

The driver was late making us late to our event. There was no notification or call to advise. Pertinent people had to take ubers making this already expensive trip even more so. We wanted to go back early and no one answered the phone. After a 10 minute hold I got an answering machine and still have not gotten a call back. I had to drive the area to find the driver only to find a vacant bus across the park. not a good experience at all.
