FireBear Improved Import & Export is best option if you neec import/export csv and xml. I have not try yet API, but also is possible. Support works as expected.

We have been using the FireBear Improved Import & Export module for Magento 2 for several years.
The module is powerful and significantly enhances Magento’s native import/export capabilities.

However, support response times can sometimes be quite long (up to several days), which can be problematic during critical upgrades.

Overall, the extension is technically solid, but more responsive support would greatly improve the overall experience.

Yet again, I’m forced to write a negative review based on my own experience with this company’s inferior product and unacceptable support practices. I originally purchased their Magento 2 import/export extension years ago, and it worked perfectly—until it suddenly stopped. After investigating, it became clear that Firebear Studio updated their composer repository in a way that broke my extension. Instead of taking responsibility, they told me I had to buy support just to access the latest version.

So I paid for support—only to receive an updated version that still doesn’t work properly.

I have now opened three separate support tickets, and not a single one has received a response. This is typical of my experience with them; they routinely take 10+ days or more to reply. Their claim that you can use their extension “for life” is meaningless, because they keep updating files in ways that break older versions, essentially forcing customers to pay again.

In my opinion, this is incredibly unprofessional and feels like a deliberate and dishonest business practice.

It took a while to get support, because you need to use the ticket system and not email them directly. Once I did, the issue was resolved the same day and they provided ample support. Recommended.

Great service and supportting.

The modules worked fines for many years. But Firebear stopped updating their Magento module, leaving us with a degraded experience. We have paid for support each years and this was our last time since even premium support is now getting back to us anymore.

We started using the plugin in 2019 and had no issues until 2022. The problems started when we updated Magento to version 2.4.2 and the plugin to 3.8.0. After years, two months ago we decided to try again and, indeed, the 3.8.7-p1 version of the plugin seemed to work fine with Magento 2.4.7. Unfortunately, however, we noticed that the visibility attribute was not handled correctly when jobs were called from the CLI, which is essential for plugins of this type. After keeping a support ticket open for more than 20 days, I requested a refund which was granted.

We have been using Firebear Studio's Import/Export module for Magento 2 for several years with great satisfaction. Initially, the module offered excellent functionality, robust features, and reliable performance, making it an invaluable tool for our e-commerce operations. Unfortunately, our experience with the product has deteriorated significantly in recent times.

The most pressing issue is the severe lack of updates and continued development of the module. It appears that Firebear Studio's focus has shifted primarily to Shopify, leaving Magento 2 users with a product that is no longer receiving the attention it once did. New features and meaningful improvements are rare, and even essential bug fixes are either delayed or ignored entirely.

This decline in support and innovation has forced us to explore alternative solutions, which is truly disappointing. We had invested both time and resources into this system, and it was an integral part of our operations. To see such a once-promising product fall by the wayside is regrettable, especially for long-term customers who have supported Firebear Studio for years.

If Firebear Studio were to refocus their efforts on their Magento 2 module and provide consistent updates, it could once again become a competitive solution. However, as it stands, the lack of development makes the product unsuitable for businesses that rely on cutting-edge features and reliable performance.

We sincerely hope that Firebear Studio reconsiders its approach to this module. For now, however, we are compelled to move on to other solutions that better meet our needs and provide the necessary support and innovation.

We have both Improved Configurable Product and Improved Import/Export, so as Magento extensions go have spent a lot of money as they are not cheap extensions. We have had two issues with the import extension. The first was obviously known about as when support finally picked the issue up (after 3 days) they immedaitely provided a patch.

The next issue, which is much more concerning is that it is taking us 13 hours to import 12k products (this is on Magento 2.4.7-p3, so the latest version. The final task for us to go live is to re-import products and add the import to our nightly batch. We raised this issue 4 days ago now and it still has not been picked up. I have been updating to get it moved along and even went as far as to warn them that this review was coming.

However, the lack of response shows how little they value existing customers asnd want to help when there is an issue. So based on the cost of these extensions and the support, my advice would be to avoid.

I recently purchased an extension from Firebear Team, but soon realized that it didn’t meet our specific needs. Despite the initial disappointment, I was impressed with the prompt response from their support team when I reached out to discuss this issue. I explained that another module they offered seemed like a better fit for our requirements and requested an exchange.

The support team was very understanding and worked with me to facilitate the exchange efficiently. This experience highlighted not only the quality of their customer service but also their flexibility in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Overall, I appreciate Firebear Team’s commitment to supporting their customers, and I would recommend their services to others looking for reliable Magento extensions.

The best export/import extension for Magento with great support!

While this tool works well with Magento CSV files, it has limitations when integrating with external systems that don't adhere to Magento 2 CSV requirements.
For example, the mapping schemes only allow for column matching and don't provide the ability to modify cell contents. This can be problematic in scenarios such as merging two separate "quantity" cells from an external system, or replacing letters with numbers in the "status" cells.

Additionally, if an external system uses a comma instead of a dot in the "quantity" cells, the tool cannot convert it to a format that is compatible with Magento. Overall, this tool is best suited for use with Magento CSV files and may require additional customization for use with external systems.

It would be beneficial to have additional capabilities, such as combining, transforming, and using equations (IF, SUM, MATH, ROUND, etc.). This would enhance the tool's functionality and provide greater flexibility for users to customize their data according to their needs.

They never respond to support tickets. Before I bought the extensipon they told me that the feature would be available in 3-6 months. So their pre-sales support is very good, but after they sell the product, it's over.

great software, support always tries hard when it comes to finding a solution

It's a great extension (import /export tool), of course the buyer might need to understand Magento2 original importing/exporting method, and I think a little bit of knowledge around PHP.
Also It doesn't hurt to read the manuals carefully. But Magento is not for beginners :) ...

I would like to know how to use the import functionality and would like to fix any issues I encountered. I've had great help with those things, thank you very much.
