Find My Man and Van is a managed marketplace that provides pre-vetted man and van services across the UK. We operate a single, central platform that connects customers directly with trusted local operators, while maintaining oversight of service standards, availability, and booking experience. Unlike directories or comparison sites, we do not list open options for users to evaluate independently. Every booking is handled through our platform, with service providers operating within defined quality, pricing, and availability controls. Our role is to make booking a man and van service simple, reliable, and consistent. Customers receive clear service options, transparent pricing, and direct booking without needing to compare multiple external providers. We focus on short-notice moves, local transport, and flexible van services in major UK cities, supporting thousands of bookings each month through a unified marketplace experience.

Find My Man and Van
Absolutely dreadful experience
Absolutely dreadful experience.
I was quoted a reasonable amount after providing a very detailed inventory and went ahead with the booking.
The night before i received a phone call from a man who upped the price to £500 and claimed this would ensure a swift and complete move. Direct quote “we will not stop until all your belongings are moved”. This was a lie. They arrived far too early, I was not even there as I was picking up the keys to the new place.
About half way through the day the man told me he needed more money to pay for “his” workers. To add insult to injury they then downed tools before 5pm and said they were finished for the day. The man was intimidating and ended up charging almost £800 and would only accept cash. My old house was nowhere near empty. I pointed this out and was told that “his” workers finished at 5pm and there was nothing he could do. He made sure to get the cash off me before telling me this mind you.
I am disgusted by the way this team behaved. I was totally ripped off and had to hire another van the next day in order to finish the move. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. The initial quote will be a lie and they will then sub-contract your move to god knows who. I cannot understate how bad my experience was. It’s unfortunate that Trustpilot will not allow a “No Stars” review as this company deserves none.
Appalling customer service accompanied by intimidating tactics to obtain more money than was i initially agreed. A complete scam. I intend to report this company to Trading Standards as a result.

Dear Maridel,
Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear that you feel you had a less than satisfactory experience through our platform. We value all feedback and are continually looking to improve the service we offer, and will be taking appropriate measures to ensure any issues are remedied for future customers.
We truly regret that your service provider could not accept your booking, and we apologise for any trouble this may have caused. Sadly, such situations can arise due to technical problems with the moving vans or personal circumstances affecting the movers, like health issues. We completely understand how frustrating this must be for you and made considerable efforts to identify an appropriate alternative; however, in this case, it simply was not feasible.
Sincerely,
Megan,

I was a little apprehensive using this service as it was much cheaper than other quotes I’d received. However, I cannot fault it. My driver, Yibrah, arrived promptly, got us from A to B efficiently and was very friendly. Yibrah was extremely helpful, assisting even when he didn’t have to. Moving is a very stressful time but this made it much easier. Thank you.
