RUN from this company! Worst in the world!!!

I rarely write reviews of companies, but I am writing this review specifically as a civic duty, TO WARN YOU, the person reading this right now, to not even think about using this company. I was merely trying to receive some very much needed medication (small vial of my legal prescription pills), sent from the USA to India. It's been the most bureaucratic red tape BS torture machine, an agonizing, frustrating, surreal, maddening experience that went on and on and on, whole days of it, maybe 30 hours in total (so far); an entire (exasperating) book could be written about the endless back and forth of uploads, downloads, revisions, more revisions, rejects, intelligible requests for more info, resubmissions, dozens of phone calls (and half of them DROPPED), myriad OTP passwords, captchas, phone and email confirmations…& how stupid it all has been, and so very unnecessarily [one example of so many notifications of rejection and need for resubmission : “Re submit Explanation letter with mention proper reason and mention physical signature”. Huh?? Time and again resubmission requests were confounding, forcing me to guess what they were saying, and often incorrect, in itself wasting many MORE hours.

If my description, so far, seems kind of confusing or vague, it’s because I would’ve previously had no idea either to what any of these dozens and dozens of notifications, actions, and directives referred, how the process could've been so infinitely and stupidly complicated - it's a Kafkian nitemare of pointless and moronic bureaucracy). If you wanted to design a company from scratch that was the least efficient, caused the most headaches, hassles, and needless human suffering, wasted the very most time via illegible incomprehensible emails requestng irrelevant or impertinent info and phone reps who speak poor English a mile a minute and will not slow down no matter how many times you kindly request it (and who interrupt you constantly so that you cannot even communicate your query), THIS company would be the blueprint. The company is broken and should be abolished. I love India, but FedEx India is the human relations manifestation/equivalent of all the myriad grossly polluted trash-strewn streets here; chaos, inefficiency, poor planning, complete disorganization, with no sense of civic-duty. And this is not even really perhaps FedEx! Seems like a third party company hired by FedEx to work with KYC forms - one of the MANY guys I was corresponding with, one Satyam Daultani, had an email address and logo/signature from Starbucks! All the mess I’ve been through could've been cleared up by one efficient, caring bureaucrat in 15 minutes time. But you will not find anything like that here, no matter how much you hope. When today I finally waded thru a week's worth of insane BS and was finally asked to pay a staggering customs fee via credit card, THAT again became one more impossibly broken tech/website/system that went on & on & on, trying multiple methods of payment, but the last screen always went blank. STAY AWAY!!! You'll be suffocated & strangled by bureaucratic red tape ad nauseam and it will never stop! If I ever am successful at payment, I then have to look forward to the nightmare so many people have described here; the failure of the couriers to actually deliver the package.

FedEx acts like a criminal…

FedEx acts like a criminal organization. Extorts additional money on the day the shipment is supposed to be shipped, and threatens that if you don't pay the extorted amount, they will confiscate the package from the sender. In addition, FedEx does not provide tax invoices even though it promises to send them by email. Did I say that FedEx is a criminal organization?

Urgent Complaint – Misdelivery & Unresolved Refund Case

FedEx’s service has been beyond disappointing. My express delivery package was misdelivered to a completely different building. The driver didn’t bother to ring the doorbell or contact me—just randomly dropped it somewhere and falsely claimed it was with a "neighbor." After a week of chasing, I finally found the package, which was meant for urgent medical care.

Filing a complaint with FedEx has been a joke. Instead of resolving the issue, they keep opening new tickets while their partner, ControlAccount, aggressively demands penalties for late customs duty—despite the ongoing dispute. FedEx conveniently claims they aren’t part of the process, even though they are responsible.

The refund case has been dragging on since December, with endless promises of callbacks that never happen. Meanwhile, ControlAccount is quick to reach out when it’s about collecting extra money. The sheer negligence and lack of accountability are appalling. If this isn’t resolved immediately, I will escalate to consumer rights authorities.

Pathetic, inconsiderate and unethical

They charged an amount of 620 aed for a parcel from south India to Abu Dhabi. The package weight was around 0.1 kg. Their rate lists showed somewhere around 220 aed for small packages from that location and while preparing the shipping label, the rates were showing around 276 aed. However, the invoice was a whopping 618 aed., more than 2 times the amount which was displayed while preparing the shipping label I sent numerous emails to customer service department, however they are as unethical and Inconsiderate as the company itself. People travel from south India to UAE with a lower fare most times as compared to the FedEx charges. They run business by looting customers. I request everyone to stop using FedEx as they are big time cheats. I wish to provide zero star, but there is no such option. They are not transparent in their billing strategy, they take your card details well in advance and debit huge amounts without being intimated to the customer. Never again fed ex. Most brutal, unethical, inconsiderate company. Pls refrain from using their services

This item was imported by me from Singapore. I faced endless problems because of poor understanding by Fedex. The details are;
As requested by Fedex, I uploaded my KYC.
This is an individual import for personal use.
As an abundant caution, apart from my Adhar card, I had uploaded cmy IEC (Import Export Code) certificate also
I had ticked the category as INDIVIDUAL while uploading documents. Obviously there is no GST
Fedex wrongly assumes, which shows how poorly informed their staff are, that an IEC automatically meant import by a business firm/company
Fedex is not aware of DGFT rules which stipulated IEC for even individual import exceeding 5000 Rs in a financial year.
They kept on asking for updating GST documents both by phone & email
Their website even for updating documents does not have a provision for NO-GST or YES-GST. Therefore they kept asking for GST
I sent e mails to KYC query as well as KYC Fedex1 clarifying that it is a personal import & there is no GST
No one bothered to reply or acknowledge my many emails
Finally yesterday, I received a duty demand from Fedex which I paid immediately.
The item was delivered to me yesterday
After the delivery of the item I receive 4 phone calls from Fedex asking me to update KYC & threatening that customs had not released my item pending this
Phone calls were followed by emails asking for KYC uploading. This is after the package was delivered
Emails sent are never read & the call centre has no clue about the emails. They keep repeating like a parrot
BOTTOM LINE: NEVER DEAL WITH FEDEX.I WILL ASK MY FRIENDS IN THE CORPORATE WORLD TO STEER AWAY FROM FEDEX. COME TO THINK OF IT, FEDEX HAS AN INDIAN CEO.ASHAMED.WORST COURIER

What went right?

What went right? Nothing went right this time. My package from Japan sits in Bangalore since Sept 9th and now it is Sept 25th 2023. It is almost impossible to reach a live responsible person; their website has been malfunctioning on three days in between these dates; even the CAPTCHA mechanism doesn't work! Fedex promised a call-back several times when I have got through, and then never call, and then lie that they tried. Thoroughly Hopeless company - Do Not Use.

Delivery failed three times now.
Firstly the delivery driver did not appear to be aware of his role as deliverer not just a driver. He knocked on my door and said he could not navigate a step onto the path. He took my parcel away. When I contacted the people I had purchased from they told me that they had been informed byFedex that they was a flight of stairs! Utter garbage.
I explained there is not a flight of stairs and delivery was rearranged for the next day before 10am. This did not happen. I received a tracking update saying delivery would be on the 22nd May!
I again contacted the people I had purchased from who said they would request for the package to be delivered today. All seemed well and I received a tracking update for this morning between 9.30 and 1.30. Of course this has not happened: the reason? The delivery person cannot now get out of his van and leave it unattended!
I have escalated this situation to FedEx customer care team. Johnson was very kind and has assured me that a senior member of staff will be contacting me within the hour.
I have lived in this property for 5 years. There has never been an issue delivering anything else including a fully built new kitchen and a bathroom suite.
I think FedEx should consider diversifying into slapstick comedy of the laurel and hardy type.

AVOID USING FEDEX AT ALL COSTS!!

I live in Austria and I ordered an item from ebay from outside the European Union.
Europeans are forced to pay import taxes (EUSt.) in advance during the payment process on ebay.
However, a few days after my package arrived I got a letter with an INVOICE from FEDEX.
The invoice was for paying import taxes (again) and there was an additional FEDEX service fee of 5.00 EUR! I told FEDEX that I have already paid all taxes in advance but they did not care.
I soon understood that there was no way eliminating this double taxation issue from my side and therefore I accepted to pay the EUSt. twice, but I requested an invoice correction at FEDEX in their online platform as well as via email (tax calculation was incorrect due to an estimated item value which was too high). I sent FEDEX evidence for the item value (the original invoice) and then I waited for a response. The only response I got was another letter which was a very unfriendly DUNNING NOTICE. FEDEX threatened me with the DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY instead of sending me the requested corrected invoice! The only email responses I got from FEDEX were automatic replies from stupid email bots! FEDEX SERVICE is HORRIBLE despite the high prices and high fees – stay away from this kind of international money collecting agency / SCAM COMPANY!!

System issue,

I haven't had problems with Fedex until now. tracking a delivery, it showed at first to expect it on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. BUT then the tracking kept giving me earlier dates of when to expect it. On Saturday the System showed that I would expect it on Sunday, but I could see from the location where it was that there was no way. I seen on Sunday that it was in Salt Lake City, Utah which is only 1 hour away from Provo, It's been there all this time and today is September 6, 2022. I understood that yesterday being Labor Day that it was a holiday. NOW it shows in TRANSIT to Vineyard and to be expecting it by end of day today. I called agent and it shows them tomorrow! So the system is telling me wrong. I am very excited to get this package and been waiting all day but now I will be getting it the Planned Day!!!!!Get your system FIXED so that it doesnt give customers wrong dates.

The WORST transportation company.

I was about to receive the shipment on 16/7/2022 and I'm writing this review on 23/8/2022. Still, I'm waiting.

The shipment is in the town for the past seven days but they are making fake delivery attempts and saying "Customer not available or business closed".

Already tried to contact their support team but they'll just say sorry for the delay and OVER. You'll find yourself helpless if you use FedEx for shipment.

Once again package sitting in Commerce…

Update to this post. Guess what package now pending! So on the 1st it was in Commerence City and the 2 nd it’s still there and on Sunday so far still there. 58 miles away from my town. It said out for Delivery both times. And now on Sunday it probably won’t go anywhere and tomorrow is the 4th.
So my package if not delivered today or tomorrow it will be sitting for 4 days an hour away.
Yet again really????
It was a big question when it said out for delivery in Commerence City. Especially since that is not my town.
unbelievable incompetent company.
I use to get packages from Indiana in 3 days.
Now 8. 27th label was created.
So technically 9 days If it comes the 5th.
If if if…
The sellers are required by their company to use Fedex. So now what???
1 hr away….

Once again package sitting in Commerce City CO!
This package shipped the 29th because I asked company to get it to me before the 4th. It was suppose to be delivered today the 2nd. And at 3 am it’s in Commerence City. And when I checked it was still there and out for delivery.
I am in Ft. Collins so how can it be out for delivery?
If it hasn’t reached the Loveland hub by 6am it isn’t loaded on a truck to go out for the day.
So that means I won’t get until Tuesday or Wednesday. Does anyone even live in Commerence City? I am being to wonder.
Seems like items get to that town and it takes 2/3 more days to get sent out.
It should be by Denver towns. Aurora and Thorton and others.
I am going to have a procedure done and won’t be home.
So thanks Fedex.
Lately you don’t even deliver to the right houses. Any delivery companies.
All packages come here for neighbors blocks away.
And mine end up elsewhere.
So maybe some one will get it In CC!
A week ago one item went 3 blocks over and lady brought it here and her package was on my step. Her son is autistic and was upset his hadn’t came.
How do you mix up packages with different street names?
Ups Usps Ontrac and Fedex are all doing it.
My neighbor across the street had 4 packages delivered here. Come on 7 houses on a culdesac and you still can’t get it right.
In fact my neighbor ordered food and came over to see if it was here.
Yup their food on our porch.
No one even rang the doorbell!
All the tech stuff we have and still can’t get it right????
This is peoples hard earned money.
Oh forgot Amazon also delivered a neighbors package here.
I opened it and thought it was my husbands.
I took opened package to neighbors but they wouldn’t answer door.
So I left it there. Now they have security cameras. Not sure why they have 2 guard dogs.
I have wrote reviews about this happening again and again.
In fact usps lady handed me a package that went a block over.
I said this isn’t mine.
No wonder I have to do so many disputes on missing items.
Sloppy careless workers.
Tons of money costing you and me money.
Than add the damaged packages into the mix. We are in a high crime area due to homeless shelter and low income businesses. And Ft. C allows them to sleep in cars. Add the rehab and food bank.
Were a target area in what use to be nice area. And country club million $ houses blocks away.
So shame on you companies.
It’s not my job to do yours for free!
I am chronically ill and you are putting my life at risk.
Do your jobs!

Where is my Parcel

Where is my Parcel? Just like other people mentioned the Driver is claiming trying to deliver the parcel when nobody was available.
Please note that I have DM you few days ago, you are not responding.
I called you several times and each of your representation is saying different thing.
I emailed UKFedex provided you the case ID "case c/65603151" opened by FEDEX customer service team and awaiting for your escalation/investigation team to look in to this.

Fedex record all conversations, I have provided (in email) times when I had a chat with Fedex over the phone — escalation/investigation team can easily check what they have told me.
You have incompetent customer service which provide miss-leading information.

This also relates to driver who claim trying to deliver the parcel -
1. They can track GPS of the Driver and they will see that Driver newer arrived to my area.
2. This can be checked with Porter/Concierge of the building — he can confirm that from CCTV no Fedex arrived (tried to deliver parcel) several days in the row.

Today again is the same story when you emailed me that you will try to deliver the parcel. I will wait for few days but if you will not deliver the parcel I will contact the seller for lost package and will ask them to return my money.

Please companies stop using FedEx

Please companies stop using FedEx. They constantly deliver late. 80% of my FedEx packages come late. Meanwhile UPS and USPS are delivering a day earlier than the set delivery date. How can FedEx be so much worse? They must have poor management all around. I really want them to go out of business so that I can stop getting forced to use FedEx from certain business. I will pay more money to not use FedEx. Only use FedEx if you want late deliveries and possible stolen/“lost” packages. Did I forget to mention that the FedEx Bloomington store is known for employees stealing high value packages! That’s the kind of service you get with FedEx!

Ms. Dee at 1814,provided me OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was in the store the night before attempting to fax important documents for my clients. I came back this evening and Dee assisted me with creating a pdf and emailing the documents. She’s awesome and definitely need her professionalism and outstanding service to be cloned!

Package Prison

I've been trying for a week without any luck to rescue my package from this company's prison. To add to my frustration, my calls to customer service get abruptly disconnected some 80% of the time before I can get any resolution to my problem. And customer service has been absolutely ineffective in actually getting the package to me so far. They're good at coming up with a new "plan of action" each time - they're escalating it, they're noting down that I'm frustrated, they're informing their team about it, etc.

Easily the Worst Courier Brand in India

The worst brand ever in India.I wonder how people even used their service.Their service in India shut down for the better i guess.No proper response,call centre personnel have no upodates.Their stupid clearing agents can only be contacted via email,its like they are scared to share their contact numbers.Hopeless to the core.DHL on the other hand had the courtesy of transferring calls to the clearing dept quickly.I had to wait for around 45min to get hold an actual person.When you get hold of them they will have no proper updates on your parcel and when you ask them to call you back,they just take your number sit idle.Never in a million years will i recommend this stupid brand.Readers please choose DHL over Fedex when ordering anything to India,i am not saying they are perfect but they are way better than this crap
