I enrolled to sharpen practical modeling and valuation skills for a finance career move. Building the models in Excel, especially the three-statement links and valuation steps, was the most valuable part. It has already made my analysis more structured and easier to explain. Dense material, but the exercises make it worth it.

High Quality Teaching
I was looking for an in person financial modeling class specifically covering LBO modeling to bridge a gap in my knowledge set. After asking around and reading reviews online, I decided on Financial Edge. The course was taught by Gerard. He is an incredible teacher that meets you where your skillset is at to ensure you get the most out of the course. He creates an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and ensures you understand the bigger picture context before diving into the individual numbers. The days flew by, and I was never once confused or bored in class. I highly recommend the course if you are considering it, especially if Gerard is the instructor.

Our modelling content is deliberately focused on the mechanics of building a technically sound model rather than prescribing specific assumptions. In practice, assumptions differ by company, sector, and deal - so we teach you to build a model that is flexible enough for anyone to amend the inputs later without it breaking. That adaptability is the core skill we are developing.
I appreciate that this may not have been clear going in, and your feedback will be passed to our content team to consider how we can set expectations better at the start of the course.
