Delivery always arrives but drivers have zero care or respect for packages.
Just today - gates are open and driver pulls up along side and throws package at gate rather than coming to front door at least leaving it there, even if he couldn’t ring doorbell - it’s safer at door than on side of the road.
I just happened to see through the window and went out to speak to driver but he saw me approach as he was about to turn van so drove on and turned further down the road.
He kept his head down as he passed me as I stood out to let him know I saw him.
His avoidance of me clearly showed he knew he’d done wrong!
Disappointing service from the driver - either they are paid too little or are under too much pressure time wise. Or both!
Either way he lost more time by avoiding me and driving further down the road than if he’d have come in my drive way to front door and turned there - which would have been an easier maneuver anyway. And I much more respectful was of dropping off a package.
Dpd and anpost don’t appear to have any issue finding my front door.
Disappointing.
No way to contact the company whatsoever. Game of chance that you pay for.
Posting this review on Trustpilot as Fastway have disabled Google reviews and I feel compelled to warn others about them.
There is NO way to contact the service. I tried to determine the situation with my package. I tracked the package and it said there was an attempted delivery on the 4th and on the 6th of December but I was at the house and there was no delivery. How do I get in contact with Fastway? I have no "dedicated client number" and neither does the sender of the package. I have the tracking number available upon request. The only contact number available is invalid once you call. No customer support available, just automated response. Terrible. It's been ready for delivery apparently for about a week now.
Updated: I had to drive to the depot about half an hour away to collect my package, which was squashed. I've only used Fastway (unintentionally) twice, and both times I had to drive to the depot to physically collect my package.
Package never arrived
My package from SHEIN never arrived and I’m assuming it’s because Fastway have shut down but I want my money back and there’s ridiculously no way to contact Fastway about this

I used parcel connect that is managed by fastway I choose them because I did not need to print the label when I arrived at the drop off shop they refused to take the parcel without label, I had the opposite information from parcel connect so I tried to contact them three times and I never had answer from the customer service, dont use parcel connect if you have problem you dont receive any answer
Long overdue.....like their deliveries

These guys deserve to be put of business. I'm waiting two days now for a package and no update from them. I have learned today they are now gone into receivership after attempting to access the website about my package. I don't know now if will ever get my package and it deserves them right as their incompetent
Over the years have had too many issues…
Over the years have had too many issues with getting anything delivered to my home by Fastway. The last incident was twice being advised that they had tried to deliver, which was completely untrue, we did not leave our home. Another time they insisted that ours was a business address, and the premises were closed when delivery was attempted. Utter lies, residential address, eircode supplied. Not surprised to hear the news today. Sorry for the people who will lose their jobs.

Well, it's not the first time I've left a negative review on this shower. As usual, never recieved the item because of them, and had to chase them down to get it a week later.
But now, SOME GOOD NEWS. Fastway ireland are to be no more. They're going out of business. YEEEEEEEEAAAHHHH! I feel sorry for some of the employees, but the company and it's directors can get stuffed.
By the way, search the words "Fastway Ireland review" in Google, and you'll see that this page is the one that comes on top, proporting that Fastway are a 4 out of 5 star company. However, keep scrolling down to the other results, and all other review listings show the real rating of this terrible company. So they are spending their money on trying to look good. But this time they've run out of road.

What doesn't go wrong? I wouldn't even leave 1 star but I had to. Date I was affected? Too may to count. They say you weren't home when you were, they drop off anywhere they feel like. We've had our parcels left in restaurants, I the street, vets. Places we don't even go, our parcels have been left. If you contact them ONLY by email mind you, they may reply within 3 weeks. It's simple avoid them at all costs
Disgusting Parent - Receivership
Great drivers and service 95% of the time. Disgusting that the parent company pulled the rug out from under all of the employees and customers. Can no longer access the label creation platform where hundreds of euro are locked in. Doubt we will ever get that money back.

Been a user of Fastway since I fractured my femur in 2012. They've always been my courier of choice and with the unreliability of our postal service, many retailers have been using them. I'm deeply saddened to hear about the company closure and wish the staff all the best

Why is it so hard to get hold of fastway, my parcel has been with fastway since 23rd October, last tracking said in Cork to be delivered next delivery day and now today it's saying misdirected and this is not the first order 2nd time having problems, the last time I sent and email and got a reply a month later on the website it has all these options of contacting them but none work.
They stole almost 10 of my orders
They stole almost 10 of my orders, 1 was marked as delivered 9 was marked as unsuccessful attempt - no delivery note, no answers for calls , no answers for mails , neighbours didn’t saw any courier. Avoid that company!!!
