I have just completed my 30th ascent with Fassa Guides, over 13 years of free climbing and ski mountaineering, and on reaching this milestone I would like to thank the whole crew for the magical moments and the emotions I have experienced with them. Were it not for them, I would never have been able to send routes like these, and I would have missed out on so much. They have always guided with assured skill, quiet confidence, and sound judgement: I have always felt safe, even when pushing a little beyond my comfort zone in order to improve. The guides are all locals, deeply connected to their mountains; for them, guiding also means sharing their valley and its history

★☆☆☆☆ Abbiamo prenotato e pagato 450 € per un corso privato di arrampicata multipitch, non per una semplice uscita guidata. La conferma indicava chiaramente tecniche di sicurezza, costruzione delle soste, gestione della corda e calate. Invece abbiamo fatto solo una via, terminata verso le 11:30, senza alcun insegnamento. Abbiamo contattato l’azienda con calma e chiesto una soluzione, sottolineando che la guida era professionale. La risposta è stata che avremmo dovuto parlare prima e che “l’arrampicata è stata fatta”. Nessun rimborso o altra soluzione. Guida valida, amministrazione molto poco professionale.

★☆☆☆☆ Wir haben für 450 € einen privaten Mehrseillängen-Kletterkurs gebucht, nicht nur eine geführte Tour. Bestätigt wurden ausdrücklich Sicherungstechniken, Standplatzbau, Seilmanagement und Abseilen. Stattdessen kletterten wir lediglich eine Route, die gegen 11:30 Uhr beendet war. Unterricht fand nicht statt. Wir kontaktierten das Unternehmen ruhig, baten um eine Lösung und betonten, dass der Bergführer professionell war. Statt Verantwortung zu übernehmen, wurde uns vorgeworfen, nichts gesagt zu haben. Die einzige Antwort war, dass „die Tour stattgefunden habe“. Keine Erstattung und keine alternative Lösung. Guter Bergführer, sehr unprofessionelle Administration.

★☆☆☆☆ We booked and paid €450 for a private multi-pitch climbing course, not simply a guided climb. The confirmation clearly included safety techniques, anchor building, rope management and rappelling. Instead, we only climbed one route, finishing around 11:30 a.m., without any instruction. We contacted the company calmly, asked for a fair solution and made clear that the guide was professional. Rather than taking responsibility, they blamed us for not saying anything during the day. Their only response was that “the climb was made.” No refund or alternative solution was offered. Good mountain guide, but very unprofessional administration.

We had an amazing day climbing the grand cir via Ferrata with Roberto. It was our first time doing this type of hike and we couldn’t have chosen a better guide for the experience. We had to reschedule times which he was fine about and supplied all the climbing equipment. He explained clearly how to do the Ferrata climbing and tips to watch for slippery rocks. All round an amazing experience with a safe / experienced guide 10/10!

We had an amazing experience hiking the beautiful Gran Cir via ferrata in the Dolomites with Roberto. Roberto is an excellent guide and we felt completely safe with him, this was our first via ferrata and we wouldn’t have been confident without him. We were with 2 children (9 & 12) and 1 was quite nervous, and Roberto was so patient, calm, kind, and encouraging that he managed it no problem. Roberto is clearly very experienced and he shared a lot of knowledge about the local mountains with us. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic via ferrata trip eith Roberto. The walk and via ferrata were stunning. He is extremely knowledgeable and a great teacher. I felt very safe. I will definitely be back to do more

I booked a via ferrata guide for myself, my daughter and her cousin (both 14 years old), this was the first time doing a ferrata for any of us. We did the 'Col Rodella' ferrata, recommended for beginners (though it was surprisingly difficult, in places). Our guide Federico was absolutely excellent, doing a great job of reassuring any anxieties and helping out where necessary, thanks to him we all found the experience thoroughly enjoyable, despite the challenges. I'd highly recommend him as a guide, and would book again to do another via ferrata in the future.

AMAZING!!
Me and some friends did a 3 day via ferrata in the Dolomites with one of the Fassa Guides, Etienne. We couldn’t be more happy with the choice ❤️ The trip itself was incredible, with the beautiful dolomiti landscapes and the adrenaline of the via ferrata experience, but surely the fact that we had Etienne with us made it even more remarkable! First of all, he was always available to answer our questions prior to the departure, which was key so that we were properly prepared for the journey. Then, he was absolutely incredible during the journey: his knowledge and tips made us feel safe all the time (while also allowing us to push bounderies and get the most out of the experience), his company was so cool and fun, and his passion for the mountains is absolutely countagious! If you are looking for a exciting, yet re-energizing experience, you should definitely go for a dolomiti trip with Fassa Guides!

A group of three girls and me walked on the Via Ferrata for the first time in September 2020 with Etienne Bernard as our guide.
I felt safe with him in spite of the respect I had for the mountain "exposure". Etienne's tips on how to climb best were on the spot. After the experience of fear on the first day... On the third day I was going singing and without too much worrying. He was the perfect combination of attention-to-detail, safety-and-relaxation teacher of 4 Bambis of the Dolomites 😅
His passion for the mountains and for climbing shows and inspires. He shared stories, knowledge and fun facts with us. He was always attentive to everyone and all safety details. He also consulted us on how to adjust the plans to better suit our energy and likes.
I would definitely do another mountain trip with Etienne.

Me and 3 friends took a 3-day via-ferrata guided by Étienne Bernard in September 2020. We had a wonderful time at the Dolomiti. The landscape is amazing and the program organized by Étienne was perfect. Étienne is an excellent guide, he answered all our questions before departure, was trustworthy, absolutely knowledgeable of the mountains which conveyed a sense of safety and is such a nice person. Physical effort and challenge were perfectly adequate for our level. Highly recommended.
