Faedra Beach Class A' hotel, located on the quiet and sandy beach Ammoudara, 3 km from Agios Nikolaos, one of the most picturesque towns of Crete.

Love this place, 2nd time here and would happily return again and again. Convenient location staff are fantastic always on hand to help. Taverna and beach right opposite the hotel, beach staff very attentive Yannis absolute asset to the hotel to keep refreshments coming on those long beach days, cab into Agios Nikolaos cost €10 take about 10 mins for a livelier night out lots of lovely restaurants to choose from around the lake area.
At the end of the summer we arrived at this great quiet place just outside Agios Nikolaos. We rented a car for 2 weeks for a good price through the friendly hotel manager. From Faedra Beach there are plenty of roads to other nice villages (on the coast and inland) and beautiful beaches! Ask the friendly and very helpful staff for tips as they have plenty for you!
Our apartment was well furnished (we even had a small built-in kitchen) and a nice balcony in the sun. At the end of September it was still around 30 degrees (sometimes hotter). That's why we often took a refreshing dip in their pool or on their beach in front of the Faedra Beach Hotel, where you can also find their beach bar. Always enjoying this place with delicious cold drinks and snacks with a beautiful view over the blue sea. By the way, these beds and umbrellas are free here. You don't see this often anymore...
All together. We had a great holiday!! We would like to thank all the staff again for the good service & many tips!! The Faedra Beach Hotel is the place where everyone should be!

Faedra Beach Hotel moet men zien als een zeer rustig Hotel waar geen vast programma aanbod is. Zoals de manager aangaf staat men zeker open voor spontane momenten. Je kan dit zelf aangeven...Eerder vond er een Jamsessie plaats met plaatselijke muxikanten. Iedere dag tref je je kaner netjes aan en wederom alles aangevuld.
Wij waren blij met eigen vervoer zodat we een gedeelte van het eiland hebben kunnen zien. Prachtig...mede omdat de manager me een app heeft geadviseerd.Komt men ook bij de minder toeristische bezi ednswaardigheden, die meer dan de moeite waard waren.
Bijzonder aardige mensen en oprecht.
Strand bij Faedra klein maar zeer prettig en gratis bedden en parasols..zie je er niet vaak overigens.Het eten vonden wij niet bijzonder, hebben daarom ook meerdere keren elders gegeten. Ammoudara zelf heeft niet veel te bieden. Aghios Nicolios per bus bereikbaar!
