EzyDog has been making dog gear from the Gold Coast since 1995. The business started with one product, the Cujo, the world's first shock-absorbing dog leash, built by founder Luke Hatcher from water ski rope and a shock cord in his garage. Thirty years later the range covers harnesses, leashes, collars, car restraints, lifejackets, beds, and outdoor gear. The engineering focus has not changed. Every product solves a specific problem: the Chest Plate Harness spreads load off the throat for dogs that pull; the Zero Shock leash absorbs sudden lunges so the walk stays comfortable; the DFD lifejacket keeps dogs visible and buoyant in the water. The gear is designed for Australian conditions and the people and dogs who use it here. EzyDog is family-owned, still run by the Hatcher family, and sells through independent pet specialty stores across Australia and globally.

I love the Ezy dog small dog range 😀
I love the small dog range of EZY dog Harness’ . I had to upsize from small to medium when my cavi pup filled out and it fits perfectly. It’s soft and easy to put on and doesn’t cause any problems if she pulls on her lead .
Delivery was very fast and it is great quality.

Excellent quality
My guy has never worn an harness and is usually an absolute menace to get his collar and lead on. He stood perfectly still the first time, almost like a salute 😂 it’s like he has put on a uniform. And he is so proud of himself it’s actually hilarious. Such great quality too. Thanks so much!

Best leashes and equipment
Best leashes, great service, great delivery. This is the only brand I'll use for my two erman shepherd. My boy is 6 this year and we are still using the original lead. I upgraded only because I wanted the coupler for running with them. This is a great store!

Good quality collar
Definitely a thicker, heavier, better quality product than our last leather collar. Dog has broken two previous leather collars with click in buckles (different brand), so I wanted to try this alternative option. This one has a nice soft inside layer. I can see where this one has been scraped across the ground already, but it’s holding up well so far. Dog’s neck was at the small end of the suggested size scale, and we have used the first/smallest hole option; it would have been good if there was a second loop to put the leftover end bit in as we’ve had to use a rubber band to hold it flat so it doesn’t stick out/ get chewed off.

I ordered an XL collar which was is…
I ordered an XL collar which was is what I have previously purchased on two occasions. The position of the Velcro on this new collar is sewn in a different position meaning I have to adjust the strap at least half way down the Velcro section to achieve the same length as the old collars. The exposed Velcro collects hair and dirt which is not great.
