EzyDog has been making dog gear from the Gold Coast since 1995. The business started with one product, the Cujo, the world's first shock-absorbing dog leash, built by founder Luke Hatcher from water ski rope and a shock cord in his garage. Thirty years later the range covers harnesses, leashes, collars, car restraints, lifejackets, beds, and outdoor gear. The engineering focus has not changed. Every product solves a specific problem: the Chest Plate Harness spreads load off the throat for dogs that pull; the Zero Shock leash absorbs sudden lunges so the walk stays comfortable; the DFD lifejacket keeps dogs visible and buoyant in the water. The gear is designed for Australian conditions and the people and dogs who use it here. EzyDog is family-owned, still run by the Hatcher family, and sells through independent pet specialty stores across Australia and globally.

Great quality

The harness was great quality and a perfect fit for my puppy. Delivery was good within timeframe, overall no problems.

Excellent quality

Excellent quality! I haven’t used the harness and lead yet, but the material feels very durable and well-made. Really happy with the quality.

Ordering the personalised tags for my…

Ordering the personalised tags for my dogs harness was really easy and they look great!
My only comment for improvement is that the website allowed me to connect with the Shop app, but then the app wasn't showing any delivery details. I missed the email with the tracking number, and so thought it still hadn't been sent. It's fine if you don't give the Shopify option, but if you are going to, it would be great if it was all integrated.
Other than that, it was a great experience.

Quality products - Reliable On-line shopping

Have purchased multiple items for my dog Charlie from when he was a pup in April 2025 up to recently in September 2026. All items have been great - harness, name tags, bowls, leads, toys, etc. Very happy with their quality and on-line ordering/delivery.
