I'm disgusted with express kitchens
I'm disgusted with express kitchens. This is my 3rd kitchen from them. I thought I would never use anyone else. I'm guessing it all fell apart after the old owner retired. I have to look at my new countertop and im disgusted how terrible a job they did. They ripped me off in so many ways. Hey Frank Davis where is my check for $150.00. Your FOS.

During the plumbing reconnection, our plumber performed additional pipe work totaling $250, which was outside the original scope of service. This was explained and agreed to by you and the plumber at the jobsite. As a gesture of goodwill, Express Kitchens agreed to provide $150 toward this expense, and your check for $150 has already been processed and you should expect it by 10/31/2026.
Regarding the countertop seam concern on your separate order, our countertop team visited your property twice, on August 21 and September 11, and we re joint seam for you.

Only good for a facelift
The showroom manager great, easy to work with, and responsive.
Details of the project needs were not clear. Additional work was required that Express Kitchens could not complete. When this became evident, it was difficult working with the scheduling department to coordinate installation. There was a great deal of pressure to complete things quickly which was difficult because I needed to hire other contractors.
Customer service was not responsive. The quality of the cabinets is not great and I am still trying to arrange for repairs. Drawers do not close completely and the entire sides of my pantry are cracked.
This company is only good for those who do not have changes to floor plan, electrical, or plumbing. Good for a facelift of cabinets and counters only.

Cabinets were not what the salesperson…
Cabinets were not what the salesperson said they were. I requested ALL wood cabinets and was assured that’s all they sell. When they arrived I realized the doors were MDF. Basically painted cardboard!! When I complained to the original salesperson she had no idea what MDF is and was unaware that the doors were constructed that way. I am devastated, these are cheap, low grade cabinets. Also the design layout was flawed and customer service ( which really doesn’t exist) made no attempt to rectify either problem. Instead they said that’s what I ordered and there was nothing they could do to resolve my issues. Stay away!!! These are no different than the cheap imported garbage sold in the big box stores!!

If I had known then
If I had known then. what I know now about Kitchen Express I would have went somewhere else and paid more. I never thought "We're sorry about that" could be abused so much. You can tell they have it down so good. Every phase of my kitchen was remodeling was rescheduled, Cost me more time waiting and there were so many hidden charges, Before signing at the beginning, I knocked of over 1300 in BS charges. this experience was a nightmare. Honestly, I've heard enough apologies to last me forever. And then they have the nerve to say, "well next time you buy form us we'll give you a discount. Really!!!!!!!!!!!

Cabinet complain
On June 27, I bought my cabinets in New London office. Susan took care of us and gave us wonderful ideas, which we followed. We paid 50% in advance and we went into schedule. Surprisingly, they moved ahead the installation from July to June. The manager denied us credit, and told us to complete the payment or they will give us a different date. We had to find the money the same day. There were no promotion or gift, no discount or anything else. We love our cabinets. However, the removal of the old cabinets and the installation were done each one by one person. When they left, there were a lot of scratches, and we had to hire a handyman to fix them. but the issue was with the bottom cabinet light rail moulding. They came off the next day. I called Customer Service. A person called Cat told me it was the handyman's fault, not true, and I had to pay $200 to put them back. When I installed my microwave, the installer told me he had to remove them at all because they were on the way to the microwave. I called again, and a different person told me she would take care of that. So far, after 4 months, nobody called me. These rail mouldings are attached just with two little nails that is impossible to stick together for long. For me the answer would be to send somebody from your company, because I paid in advance a lot of money, and cut the edges next to the microwave and attack them permanently with something stronger that a couple of very thin nails. However, because I already paid, they forgot me, don't care about my problem. Probably, I will have to hire again another handyman to fix an Express Kitchen mistake. No need to say your customer Service is horrible. My invoice is Quote 1NL366270.

A very nice place to eat at Victoria coach station
I was on a trip to the airport and had luggage with me was. Ery hungry so when to eat and wnterd express Kitchens. I had very good experience as was served very nicely by the owner the food was very good and the pricing itself was not too bad . The owner was very very nice and in serving helping as well as talking to . He seemed to be a nice person .

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. they are crooks!! they want 100% of your money (upfront) before they do anything for you….and once they get your cash they perform poorly!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM 100% upfront cash nor should you sign their 50 page ridiculous contract…. I been there and done that… they are awful..,Their operation and project managers do not get along with the store managers. THEY TREAT THEIR STORE MANAGER very bad…. Any agreements you discuss with the store are worthless because the corporate office voids them once they get your 100% upfront cash payment.They are poorly organized and change schedules on a regular based,., all their workers are sub-contractors who are not really on their pay roll. they are over priced…..quality is poor and you can get quality and service from anyone other than these crooks!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! #junk

It has come to light who this customer is and thus we can explain his negative review. Mr. Rapice contracted with Express Kitchens to supply and install his cabinets and countertops last year. From the beginning, this customer was very unprofessional and unkind to our entire staff. We terminated our communication after we completed the job due to aggressive messages we received.
Dissatisfied customer
I bought cabinets in July 2020. It was not complete until the fall. Had to come out numerous times to replace a rusted sink (4 days installed) and to fix numerous problems such as screws put in crooked and pushing through the outside of cabinet, trim was crooked, stoppers were missing, etc. One cabinet is a different color inside and I was told to live with it; no one would see it. My experience is that they hire out for installers and take no responsibility for the shabby workmanship. The install manager also accused me of damaging my new sink but gave me another one "as a courtesy" but the installer told me he was told not to hook it up (I already paid a plumber the first time to install). After a lengthy back and forth argument with customer service manager, the sink was installed by them. Unfortunately the hoses were installed backwards (hot on right/cold on left). I will never use them again...terrible customer service!

Hello Deb – We completed the installation of your beautiful new kitchen in 1 day, on 07/27/2020. When we left, you had a fully-completed working kitchen. Afterwards, you called our Customer Service team and told us that you had some screws that were not sitting flush in the cabinet and a couple other cosmetic issues. Without fail, we stand behind our products and services. We returned to your home and not only fixed the cosmetic issues, but we also supplied and installed a side splash that was not on your original order and we replaced your kitchen sink, all at no charge to you. You did not purchase plumbing services from us and our installers do not do plumbing work. Again, as a courtesy to you, we hooked up the sink at no additional cost. I’m surprised to see you negatively reviewed us. Our customer service is second to none and we went out of our way to make you happy.
Kitchen Remodel
After speaking with Express Kitchens today, I spoke with Karen and Bill Hesbauch and they have turned my experience into a more satisfying experience. They have just proven to me that they are there for their clients until they are satisfied. So Thank you Karen for reaching out to me today and to Bill for all of your assistance.

Ms. Breen,
Your kitchen was purchased on 03/14/2020. Like most other businesses during the pandemic, Express Kitchens continued to communicate with you through the then-unknown landscape. With the extended delay COVID caused, you had an issue with your financing. Whatever issues you had with your financing company are between you and them. Express Kitchens is not at all involved in this transaction.
Because of the COVID delay, we sent a crew to install your kitchen in one day, on Friday, 06/19. We templated your countertop on Monday, 06/22, and installed it right after our 4th of July holiday shutdown on Monday, 07/06. Start to substantial completion was just over 2 weeks, with only 4 visits to the your house. You have had a working kitchen since 07/06. You then told us that you didn't like the oven cutout done by our installer, although the cut out was perfectly acceptable, the installer went back to your home on 09/29 and removed the cabinet you didn't like and installed another one. The photos you have uploaded show the rough cut out for the oven, which is exactly that – a “rough” cut out designed to be covered by the oven once it is installed.
You then told us that the refrigerator panel looked bowed and you didn't like how the cabinets were hung at the window. Now, you have requested a piece of toe kick, which we have scheduled to be delivered to your home on 11/20/2020. It has been almost 2 months since the last time Express Kitchens has been in your house. You have had other contractors in and out of your home. Express Kitchens continues to send you replacement parts at no charge that clearly were not damaged when we left your home. Your kitchen was completed back in July, but Express Kitchens remains committed to be there until the customer is satisfied.
Attached are photos of your beautiful new kitchen. Also attached is a copy of your signed invoice acknowledging that Express Kitchens does not provide compensation, but instead stands behind its products and services, just like we’ve done in your case.
