Extraordinarily unprofessional
Teenage daughter booked a trip to New York over New Years and sent Explore America a booking form - got absolutely no response at all
- Parent booked online w/ creditcard info = no response
- 2 x flight quote requests = no response
- 2 x reminder emails = no response
- 20 phone calls = got an answering mashine at best or no reply at all
- 2 phone messenges = no response
- Website (3 weeks later) happily announces same trip to New York
FINALLY got through on the phone and was told that since the trip was fully booked, they had just thrown away the booking (and not bothered to reply).
Problem is, while you're spending time trying to get through to them, the airline prices go up, and no other plans can be made.
I wouldn't trust them with my teenager. Especially not on trips to New York or other cities Unable to manage simple paperwork, how would they manage hotel bookings, airport transportation, etc. etc.. Besides, who do you call, if there is a crisis, and you need to get through to them ??!!??
