Hello everybody….!!! pff...!!!

As a member of the Linked Service Account for 9 consecutive months, the results compels me to share my disastrous real trading history and if some one wish to see the account statements please don’t hesitate to asks for them.

Expert4x has led my live account to heavy losses.

Please new traders exercise extreme caution; this is a very poor investment and a deceptive trap.

The most misleading part about this service is how they manipulate their records to sell false hope. As soon as one of their "top" EAs wipes out the (linked) account, they scrub it from their records entirely and immediately replace it with a new one that happens to be in profit at the moment.

Worst part of it is that they remains the positions open on the investor account, forgetting about all the bad open positions. (like nothing had happened, you thrust until it fails and they erase the linked EA and leaves you with the catastrofics opened positions in your live account)

After that disaster, Expert4x completely "forget" the failed linked account that were previously in their top ten, moving on to the new backtested good ones for users to link on, while the older user of the linked service were left behind with a devastating loss of real money.

I consider it completely unfair to simply erase a top-ten ranked EA after it wipes out a real account, and the worst of all ..... while leaving the positions open in the user’s live account as if it were only a demo.!!!!!

These are not simulated results — these are real financial losses. The consequences directly affect the trader’s capital, risk exposure, and financial stability. Removing visibility of the linked EA after blowing-up the real accounts that followed the service, when real damage is caused to the followers. THEY JUST FORGET !!!

For Expert4x, it is just another burned account, but for the investor, it is a total loss. JUST LIKE THAT....Horrible...!!!

By the way, i don't use leverage on the copy linked service. 1:1

Alex makes money from selling dodgy martingale EAs that don't work. All of them are same martingale high DD robots with different names. No evidence Alex himself trades. I bought a couple, terrible customer service. Alex and Mary McArthur are rude and make money selling EAs not trading

I bought two EAs from this expert4x vendor. I spent weeks doing backtesting and optimisation on these two EAs on all the currency pairs they provided. And also testing on demos and live. I cannot seem to get a good setting. I went back to the YT video to ask the guy, he said ask customer service. I asked customer service. This customer service guy cannot give me a currency pair or setting that works best for both EAs. This vendor does not provide backtesting results too. Most backtests i had done show 30-90% drawdown on both EAs. There aren't any good settings that really work. I would not recommend anyone buy any EAs that are not backed up by backtesting and track record. THe only live account he showed on the video was on a $300 account. ANd he claimed it had high % yield. WHen tested on my backtest, it actually crashed. This is a bit scammish. I tolerated very long before i write this review. Customer service might seem polite, but when it comes to crucial information, it's lacking.

They advertise “75% gains” but when I politely asked for proof of real accounts, I discovered it’s all based on demo accounts with zero real money at risk. When I questioned this, their response was literally “Happy to lose you as a potential client.” Extremely unprofessional and dismissive. Avoid.

Forget about buying these EAs. I have quite a few of the Expert4x EAs. They always end up in a huge drawdown that they can never recover from and you end up having to close the trades manually, losing any profit that you might have made. It does not matter how you configure the setting. I have done many tests with many different configurations. It will lose eventually. Don’t waste your time or money.

Expert4x has many robots, and Alex is a person who creates trust on YouTube videos. All the robots seem very good on backtests and when Alex has configured them correctly. He also talks about a couple of robots that are "guaranteed not to lose money". I have tried almost all the robots, and have run a live account with a total of 65,000 USD. Everything is lost. I feel a responsibility to warn people against putting Expert4x robots on live accounts, they do not work, or rather they may work for a little while but then the market changes and then you lose everything. Do not believe the backtests and do not believe anything that is told in the videos. As I said, all my money is gone trading with Expert4x, this is only meant as a warning.

The Robots do work, for awhile. Then there is a big market shift and they wipe out your account usually while you are asleep. I blew 2 accounts over 10k. When you ask you are told you didnt have the settings right, You didnt back test for long enough, You didnt have multiple accounts to cover the ones that go rogue. If you do trade with them. DONT have any of the Yen pairs, they can move hundreds of pips in a day. I was there for over a year, i really tried to make it work. But ended up poorer and hopefully wiser. Good Luck. To the people on here who have made it work.. would love to see the proof after the big moves lately.

Purchased an EA; which was a total flop! After 3 attempts to contact them to cancel my PAID subscription, there were 2 returned emails! I sent the first message on their website; no reply in days to cancel my PAID subscription! Note: Before I signed up for a PAID subscription, both of the emails that failed after my sign up replied almost immediately! Draw your own conclusions; as for me, I'm done with them! As far as I'm concerned, it's a scam! Run like hell!

Simple history reader EA's... dont spend your money

Alex ea's are only for backtesting and gives you amazing results.
i have been premium member for one year and did buy serveral of the Ea's to find out its just a scam.

If you criticise Alex he will kick you out of the forum, if you ask him for live results and not only demo he will kick you out.
Im in contact with serveral from the forum who got banned for asking to big questions.

just a good advice, stay away until he usees his ea's by himself on real accounts.

I have been using the linking service (and the paid forum subscription) for almost a year now, and I have tried to find the best links and best settings, but it falls short from what's being advertised.

My peak performance took place earlier this year at about 15-20% per month, until May when a long drawdown ate all my profits that I had made. Now there's still some drawdown which I'm waiting and waiting and waiting to breakeven at least so I can close and leave. The other remaining account (started with 25k last summer) went down to 18k last autumn (2023) and slowly climbed to 29k where it has been staying for 4 months without any improvement, and today the account shrank a bit again, I'll wait for its remaining 1.2k drawdown to breakeven so I can shut that down too and leave.

Just to clarify, I did not over leverage, I didn't use larger than 1x setting for the links, sometimes even 0.5x multipliers.

As I read from other comments here, Alex doesn't like any criticism, he seems defensive and often just ignores you.

I don't think it's a plain scam, it's just a rather poorly performing trading business (except in the hype videos and webpages). Not worth the time and money.

The products offered by Expert4x are excellent. I've used multiple of their EA's as part of my automated trading strategy with great success. Alex's assistance through his youtube videos and forum content are clear and he doesn't mince his words. Great products and excellent service.

I really don't know what the people leaving negative comments expected - to become overnight millionaires without bothering to put in any time or having any starting capital, perhaps?
Using Expert4x products and following the guidance I am making huge profits, the worst performing of my forex accounts making 150% profit in its ten months. If that sort of return isn't enough for the naysayers they should stick to the national lottery and prayer!

I was a paid member for 6 months so had a time to test the service. Although there is a potential opportunity here, the sales pitch is very misleading. Alex, the owner sells his linking service as "a set and forget" service when in effect it is not and needs a lot of portfolio management experience. I managed to break even after 3 months but with many blown accounts. Also, the blown accounts are moved to a suspended list so you do not have a clear understanding of the opportunity. Any questioning of the methodology is met with aggression by both Alex and so members.

The owner of the EA makes all these claims on demo accounts!!! Alex has no proof of real trading and anyone trading real accounts wont tell you how the EA blew there money! STOP STOP STOP People do not believe Alex and his nonsense he is demo balling and using people to join his premium group to collect his own funds " remember the term OPM.....other peoples money!

All his EAs cannot recover from drawdown periods! The risk is very high you will get a margin call holding onto your life with your real money whilst he his playing on demo accounts selling the Goose that lays golden eggs.

Do not buy these EAs none work! why would someone sell you something that works so flawless for few hundred dollars? EXPERT4X stop selling hope to people!!

Most members in his group are fake and the EAs tested are all from sketchy individuals with blank backgrounds.

I had a very negative customer experience with Mary McArthur at Expert4x. On Friday, July 14, 2023 I had been perusing the Expert4x website and noticed right at the top of the Expert4x home page in big bold font advertisement for a 14 day trial for the Expert Advisor Linking Service, which I assumed to be free, as I think most clients would. I clicked on the link and it took me to a web page with a whole bunch of information on the trial, but no link to start the trial. I sent an email to Expert4x inquiring of how to start the trial and some other details, to which Mary replied that the trial was expired.

I informed her that the home page of Expert4x still was advertising the trial and that I considered that to be false advertising and a bate and switch tactic. It surprised Mary to know that the trial was still being advertised, as she asked me where it was being advertised, to which I responded, “on the Expert4x home page”. To that she replied that on the linked page there was a clear statement that said the trial was expired, and therefore they were not falsely advertising.

I am a very detail oriented person and in my careful reading of the website multiple times throughout the day, I did not once see that statement. I am not saying with 100% surety that that statement was not there, as the web page is very disorganized and overcrowded with information, so there is a slight chance that I missed it. But I did scour the web page multiple times and did not see it.

Mary seemed to take my statements very personally, as she proceeded to send me a couple more emails saying that the trial was never free and that I had been using the word “free” very loosely and that I was not reading the actual words on the web page, but making things up. This felt like an attack on me and that she was not concerned about providing good customer service, but rather discrediting me and/or proving me wrong. I felt very off put by these remarks and responded that I felt like she was being very rude and she responded that Expert4x would be “happy” to not take me on as a client due to my “inability to read simple sentences correctly.”

This lady does not know anything about me, nor my education background or IQ. I am very educated. I also hold a CPA license in the USA and have a very successful career in accounting. To make statements as Mary at Expert4x has done to me is not only very poor customer service, but really reflects poorly on Expert4x, to the extent that I would not recommend anyone do business with this company.

I have verified my statements regarding the term free with respect to the trial of the linking service with a few youtube videos from the founder of Expert4x, Alex du Plooy, and an affiliate of Expert4x, Hi-Tech Investments. In Alex’s video entitled "Do a 14 day trial. We have 46 accounts generating over 10 Percent a month that you can link to.", he stated that the 14 day trial was substantially free, costing $1 for the trial (start at 3:25 mark). Hi-Tech Investments did say that it was free in their video entitled "THE MONEY TREE EA/ROBOT JOINS THE EXPERT4X COPY LINK SERVICE" (start at 19:00 mark), so I don’t think my assumption of a free trial was too far off base.

Note: Expert4x took down from its home page on July 15 or 16 the verbiage about the trial.
