Cashback apps are so easy, and the only difference being that you shop with gift cards instead of your bank card 🙌 Saving money back on your everyday shopping, plus having a little bit of fun goes a long way these days ☺️ Really great to hear that you had no problems to withdraw your cashback 👌

I like the fact I can get money back on my shopping. My only problem is the ease of use. I think it might be difficult for someone who is elderly or with learning difficulties. A step by step guide in the app would be a help, or a video of someone obtaining the gift card and using it at a store till.

Hey Jimmy! 🙂 You are absolutely right! It's great to be able to offer money back on gift card shopping, but there's definitely a lot of room to improve the customer's journey and to make buying gift cards and earning cashback accessible to everyone. As we continue to grow our team, these are all considerations that we'll 100% add to our cashback app 🙌 Thanks for your thoughts 👌
Great little app
Great little app! In just under 3 months I’ve accumulated £133 in rewards and that’s just by shopping where I’d normally shop but by paying by gift cards! So simple to use 😊

Love this app
Love this app! The cashback rates are some of the most competitive I’ve seen and the bonuses and offers really boost that! Whilst it’s sad to hear about gambling addicts’ experience, I don’t think it’s fair to blame the app for someone’s addiction.

I love it
I love it, only had it 5 days and used it while I shopped at Asda on about 3-4 occasions. Have almost £8 cashback already. Great way to save money. Cashback rates are actually fab, and lots of your everyday stores giving money back.
Take part in the couple of pretend coin games or don’t. They’re just raffles and lotto, no big deal. Main attraction is the free money from your shopping, so glad I saw this on Insta, being promoted by an influencer.

Avoid If You Have a History of Gambling…
Avoid If You Have a History of Gambling Issues
I want to share my experience with Everup, a service marketed as a money-saving app with instant cashback rewards. My intention in downloading this app was to save money, but it unfortunately led me back into gambling.
Years ago, I managed to stop gambling and reclaim my life after nearly hitting rock bottom. However, Everup's app includes games that reward you with coins, which can be used to play wheel spin games for the chance to win more coins. This seemingly innocent feature reignited my gambling habits.
Despite my initial intention to use the app purely for savings, I found myself spending money I didn’t have, chasing the thrill of winning more coins. This slippery slope has led me back into gambling, and I now find myself struggling with addiction once again.
Adding to this, after signing up, I began receiving unsolicited emails promoting casino offers, which only compounded the problem.
If you have a history of gambling addiction, I strongly advise you to stay away from Everup. It poses a significant risk and will not help you save money as advertised. Please be cautious and prioritise your well-being.

Hi Jordan,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced and we appreciate the honesty in your review.
We want to clarify that Everup always offered free-to-play games, and we’ve never required users to spend their own money to participate or play. The games we offer—like the wheel spins you mentioned—are entirely free and function more like prize draws or gamified loyalty programs, similar to many other free apps that offer chances to win bonuses or rewards.
In fact, our mission when we started Everup was to create a positive alternative to gambling—one that removes the financial risk and instead encourages saving and rewards through fun, no-cost gameplay. We’ve always taken responsible play seriously, and we do not allow or promote real-money gambling of any kind.
That said, we deeply regret if any features of the app felt triggering for you. Your well-being is incredibly important, and we genuinely wish you all the best on your journey to recovery. Feedback like yours reminds us how careful we must continue to be with how our products are experienced, especially by those in recovery.
Thank you again for sharing your perspective.

This is a gambling app
This is literally a gambling app. Cash back side is only to draw people in. Their main focus on the website is about their ‘free’ games. Complete scam.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your feedback. We’d like to clarify a few important points, as it seems there may be some misunderstandings.
Everup is not a gambling app. We’ve never allowed or asked users to deposit money to play games. All our games have always been 100% free to enter, with no risk of financial loss. Rewards were given through coins, savings boosts, or gift cards, not real-money stakes.
While we initially launched with a cashback feature to promote saving and engagement, the heart of our platform has always been about making finance fun through free prize draws—not gambling. There's a big difference between paid betting and free-to-play reward systems, and we're proud to have offered a risk-free alternative.
We created Everup with a mission to challenge the traditional gambling model by removing financial risk entirely. Calling us a 'scam' is not only baseless but also ignores the fact that users have always played for free, with complete transparency about how everything works.
That said, we understand that game-style mechanics aren’t for everyone, and we take concerns seriously. We hope this clears things up, and we’re always open to constructive dialogue.

Not What It's Advertising As, Gamblers Beware
Keep Getting The Ads Appearing In Games I Play, But It's Advertised As A Shopping Cashback App, However The Reviews Are From People Who Are Into Gambling, This Seems To Be A Site Misrepresenting Itself!

Hi Daren,
Thanks for your comment—it's important to us that users understand what Everup is and isn’t, so we appreciate the chance to clarify.
Everup was originally launched as a cashback and savings app with free prize draws to make saving money more engaging and rewarding. We’ve since evolved, and while we no longer operate a saving service, we continue to offer gift cards with leading cashback rates and completely free-to-play games where users can win rewards—without ever needing to spend a penny.
We want to be clear: Everup is not a gambling site. There’s no option to bet, stake, or lose your own money on our platform. Our games are designed as fun incentives, similar to loyalty programs or sweepstakes—free, lighthearted, and risk-free.
We’re sorry if our ads or presentation gave the wrong impression, and we absolutely understand the need for transparency. Your feedback is helpful, and we’ll take it onboard as we continue improving how we communicate our offering.
