AVOID — €7,000 DEPOSIT STILL NOT RETURNED
I would strongly advise anyone considering Europe Luxury Services to think very carefully before handing over a large deposit.
I rented a Porsche 911 for 3 days and paid approximately €4,600 for the rental.
I subsequently asked them to modify the booking and reduce the number of rental days. They refused to accommodate the change.
After returning the car, I was then charged €950 for a very small scratch, which in my view is an excessive charge given the nature of the damage.
But the most serious issue is the security deposit.
I paid a €7,000 deposit and, as of writing this review, not a single euro of that deposit has been released back to me.
So my experience has been:
• Approximately €4,600 for a 3-day Porsche 911 rental
• No flexibility when I requested to shorten the booking
• €950 charged for a small scratch
• €7,000 deposit still being held
For a company marketing itself as a premium/luxury service, I find this completely unacceptable.
Holding such a significant amount of a client’s money after the rental has ended, on top of charging €950 for a minor scratch, has left me extremely dissatisfied with the way this has been handled.
Until my €7,000 deposit is properly accounted for and returned, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
If you rent from them, document absolutely everything, photograph and video every centimetre of the vehicle before taking possession, get all deposit-return conditions in writing, and be extremely cautious about the amount you authorize them to hold on your card.
I will update this review if and when my deposit is returned and the matter is resolved.
