Wow! Talk about a scam!

Since July 14, 2026 my solar stopped exporting.

I called SolarEdge, they told me to contact the installer. I called the installer. They told me to contact Enfin to create a work order. I called Enfin...

Customer Support sucks! I've been in sales/customer support for over 30 years. Never have I come across a company where the customer appreciation is nonexistant.

I have been doing all the communicating since day one. No one from Enfin has been doing anything to help. I've gotten to the point where an onsite technician is supposed to trouble shoot, but that still hasn't happened.

As of today, I have paid Enfin $245. per our agreement. On top of paying an SCE bill of $550. Enfin refuses to credit anything, knowing theyr system is not exporting any energy. How does that make any sense as a customer??? Enfiin said as per the agreement, I, the customer, must continue to pay and in two years, they will eveluate the performance of the system. And then, refund based on the production of the solar. leaving the customer to have zero options but to pay a ridiculous amount for electric in hopes Enfin refunds the correct amount much later.

On top of it, I've had 1 month where I did not owe anything to SCE. Not what was agreed upon. Simply not logical...

I must now seek legal action becuase I have no other choice.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GET SOLAR WITH SOLAREDGE OR ENFIN!

The solar panels I am leasing from this company are significantly underperforming by their own installers' assessment. That was after I was promised things during the sales pitch that as it turns out are simply not true, like I will never receive another bill from my electric company, or that the panel now situated under a large oak tree would not cause a problem with my solar production.
EnFin is fully aware of all these issues yet refuses to refund money I spent during very poor production months, and correct the problems; in fact it is now clear that they rigged the contract against me by including a "no production guarantee" which is extremely unusual with these contracts, according to the installer.
It seems clear now that the company knew from the start that the system would not work adequately and wanted an off-ramp so they would not be liable for the system's adequate operation.
