Energy Ogre is a Texas electricity concierge that takes the work out of finding and managing the right electricity plan for your home or business. We shop the competitive electricity market, compare plans and providers, handle enrollment and switching, and monitor Texas electricity rates so you don’t have to. Unlike Power to Choose, the state’s online electricity marketplace, Energy Ogre doesn’t just give you a list of plans to compare yourself. We analyze available electricity plans based on your unique usage, cut through confusing terms and gimmicky rate structures, and manage the process on your behalf. Whether you live in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, or another deregulated Texas electricity market, we do the shopping and ongoing management for you. Energy Ogre works for its members—not the electricity provider. You pay us a flat membership fee to optimize your electricity plan based on your home’s unique usage and costs. We aren’t paid by retail electricity providers for residential enrollments, so provider commissions or incentives don’t influence our recommendations. Our focus is simple: finding the plan that delivers the best overall value and savings for you. Founded in Texas in 2013, Energy Ogre was built to give electricity customers an advocate in a complicated market. Our members save an average of $954 per year on electricity. If you’re tired of comparing Texas electricity rates, sorting through electricity providers, or worrying about what happens when your fixed-rate electricity plan expires, let Energy Ogre manage your electricity for you.

Best Service To Date

I called to cancel my plan. Wade built the value with what Energy Ogre has done for me over the years that i did not realize. Not only did I NOT cancel my plan I went over it with him to understand what value I was getting.

Frustrating glitch handled with grace and ease.

The issue was frustrating. I was getting your emails but on your end it was showing them as bouncing back. Everything was right, you had my correct email and my other profile information was also correct. I got a little frustrated by it all but she stayed calm and we made it through it. Got everything all set. She even helped me get myself setup on the provider’s by talking me through it. Lechequa is a keeper. You guys do her right! She will keep your customers satisfied like she did today with me.

Let’s hope your IT guys are as good at their jobs as Lechequa is at hers and they can figure out why the erroneous bounce backs were happening.

Thank you.

Above and Beyond

Florence extended service and kindness I rarely if ever have experienced from a company before. Having been utilizing Energy Ogre for over 7 years I greatly appreciate their understanding and willingness to work with customers.

Patience to my responses as I took a bit longer than expected to type back. Very thoughtful as I was stressed but didn’t think anyone cared for my worries. David still looked at my profile and saw my worries without me mentioning anything and that alone touched my heart. Definitely recommending energyogre to friends.
