Excellent company, easy to transfer over to Robin Hood. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Massive saving on previous supplier. So far, so good, would thoroughly recommend Robin Hood as an energy supplier.

Very expensive after having a monthly direct debit quote which seemed a reasonable amount i signed up, then i found the monthly direct debit they quoted me didn't cover my bills, after looking and comparing tariffs i found i was paying nearly double for my gas standing charge compared with other suppliers. i am now tied into to this expensive deal for over a year and on top of that i have lost my £140 warm home discount because they only offer it to pensioners,when switching do not fall for the monthly payments suppliers quote you, take your time and compare the actual tariffs and not their monthly estimated payments because you might end up paying more when you switch like i have. I suppose you live and learn perhaps next time i want get caught out.

Can't fault them, nothing is a problem for them, asked for assistance in a difficult situation and they have been so helpful

I moved houses 3 weeks ago, requested someone to call me, because the phone line was busy, to get a gas card and electric key sorted out. I was given a code to go to my local shop and get an electric key, but they said it was invalid. I’ve emailed several times now about this and still haven’t got a response. I have an 8 month old baby, and going to my relatives just to cook and bath isn’t very ideal with the current pandemic. Very disappointed.

The switch over process was straightforward and hassle free and I was made aware of progress at all times. I've emailed three times with queries and all three times my emails were answered promptly (despite me emailing during Covid-19 pandemic) and gave helpful advice, friendly yet professional customer service. The online account is easy to use with a great layout. Really impressed with all aspects.

I recently tried to switch energy suppliers from robinhood energy as id been offered a better deal from edf
They have no records of my meter for a year before they say it was fitted even though i provided them with evidence.
They then came up with a non existant bill which i disputed but they went ahead and added to my account before i got a reply to my dispute.
I,d avoid this company like the plague , theyre underhand decitful and total liars. BEWARE
Actually got it sorted out after 3 weeks and a lot of threats and cursing, myself I suggest you,d be better insisting on speaking to someone in person rather than emailing

Constantly ask for meter readings, I submit them and then they tell me that I haven't used the service before. I have to resubmit my meter readings everytime. As a result, this month my account has arrears as the bill was based on an estimate, which is miles out as I submitted my actual reading, several times.

As a new customer to Robin Hood Energy, I find their charges are very reasonable compared with some other suppliers. The transfer from the old supplier went smoothly and I like being able to read my own meter, which means I only pay for what I use each month.

We where with Robin Hood energy for 12 months, on month direct debit. They failed to take any direct debits (even though the DD was set up) when we moved supplier they billed us in full which is fair enough & we agreed payment terms over a period of time to clear the debt & have paid several of these DD's. When they failed to take a recent DD because they set an expiry date to the DD that didn't cover the time needed & expired prematurely!!! they demanded payment in full referred us to a credit collect agency even though we had a repayment agreement with them (with the email correspondence to prove), they fail to respond to emails or correspondence, completely inept company our experience been one failure after another!

IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE BELOW ABSOLUTELY NO HELP (MR C DALE) WHAT SO EVER, SIMPLY KEEPS REPEATING ITS BEEN PASSED TO A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY EVEN BEFORE THE TIME HAS ELAPSED! YOU NEED TO CALL US AS WE HAVE ASKED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.

Been with them for several years. Messed with my bills more than once. Switched over to new supplier this year and saved over £350. They advertise themselves as being 'non-profit' but non-profit doesn't mean they are cheap or competently managed.

REPLY: You provide the same disingenuous automated response to all negative feedback. Should of taken greater care of us when we were with you.

Robin Hood presented us with a bill which we contested as it wasn’t right. They kept on writing to us to say we need to pay the bill or it will be passed onto a debt recovery firm. We wrote back every time saying the bill is wrong and that they need to sort it. They would write back apologising saying, sorry and that they are working on sorting out the bill. Today we received an email informing us that our bill has been handed to said debt recovery firm. This company are truly dreadful, their communication is woeful and their customer service is nonexistent. Avoid.

Started off brilliantly- significantly reduced our bill from another provider, however at he end of the year term, increased the bill by £60 per month and did not notify of the change. When queried, we were told this was because we’d been undercharged all along. Now in financial hardship and continuing to pay an extortionate bill after being told “you can’t move company because you’re in debt”.

Shocking customer service in this present situation. Contacted them with regards to having no money to top up my gas and electricity meters as I'm on prepayment. I am also disabled which makes things extra difficult for me. Not prepared to help in any way. Told me to contact citizens advice. Other energy companies are looking out for their customers by offering temporary credit...not robin hood. Have been a customer of these for years well not any more. I WILL be changing supplier ASAP

Serious errors made. Passed my details on to a debt collection agency despite having payment from me in full for the last year on standing order! I have rang them multiple times and asked them to resolve it and nothing has happened. Potentially this company has ruined my credit for no reason as I did everything I should of.
