The parts have arrived, so I can finally share my opinion.
Everything I ordered reached me 100%. All parts were original and the prices were very good. Nothing was missing from the package and it was well secured. As for ordering, I really like the website – I’m able to view my entire motorcycle there, from the engine to the brakes, etc.
The whole process took quite a long time, about a month, but I expected that since I ordered quite a lot of items, especially many small parts, and there is also a very large distance between us.
Another big plus is the contact and support. The responses were very quick and helpful, and I don’t even have to keep checking my email because everything is available directly on the website. Even when I asked some silly questions, I got a reply shortly after sending my message.
At the moment I’m very satisfied and I will probably use Impex Japan’s services more than once in the future.

Nie polecam zamawiania części u tego sprzedawcy. Obiecują, że towar będzie dostępny w ciągu 5-7dni natomiast mija dużo więcej czasu a towaru nie ma i każą czekać. Oczywiście wszystko po wcześniejszej zapłacie za części. Poprosiłem o anulowanie zamówienia z racji wydłużającego się terminu i zwrot pieniędzy. Otrzymałem informację że nie anulują zamówienia i zwrot pieniędzy nie jest możliwy bo to jest niezgodne z ich zasadami. Ich zasady obejmują tylko Ciebie. A to że nie dotrzymują terminu to już nie jest ich zasada. Przestrzegam przed zamawianiem z tego sklepu
I don't recommend ordering parts from this seller. They promise the goods will be available within 5-7 days, but much longer passes and the goods are not available, forcing you to wait. Of course, all this after paying for the parts. I requested a cancellation of the order due to the extended delivery time and a refund. I was informed that they will not cancel the order and that a refund is not possible because it is against their policies. Their policy only applies to you. And missing a deadline is not their policy. I warn against ordering from this store.

Pavel the Managing Director shows very little interest in engaging with new customers or explaining why their process works the way it does. And by “unusual” I mean that customers are expected to estimate parcel measurements themselves. Impex won’t provide measurements for the parcels they’re about to ship. When you question this the response is basically a take-it-or-leave-it attitude.
I’d rather look elsewhere. This business feels shady and I have zero confidence they would offer any real support if an issue came up after placing an order.
Great Service On More Than One Occasion
Well, I'm astonished by the negative comments. I have now ordered, and received goods, twice through IMPEX. If you read their website before you order then the process is quite clearly explained. My first order was straightforward, a set of OEM fork springs that are quite simply unobtainable elsewhere. Order placed, pay the money. Yes, I then got notified of an increase in the price from the supplier (still was less than the list price in the UK... had it been available). Goods arrived at IMPEX and shipping costs calculated, your have various options, your choice. Then delivered, well packaged.
Second order was for quite a few bits, once again not available anywhere else. Paid the money (quite a lot!). I then received notification that about half of my items were no longer available and I was given the choice to cancel the whole order or choose to continue on with the available bits, which is what I did. At this point your payment is held as a credit pending notification of delivery costs. Once the items were received and delivery chosen by me, the resultant balance was repaid to me in 2 days (you have to request this on the system).
Third order. Big Item, Order made, money paid.. then a notification that the items were not available and my money was refunded and back in my account 3 days later.
It might seem a long winded process but ultimately I have received OEM parts that quite simply cannot be sourced anywhere else, and, in each case so far, at a lower overall cost than in my home country.. had the parts even been available!
Now in the process of my fourth order, going well so far!

the original float bowls from impex were 32 euros each the seals were one quarter of the price.
delivery was £20.
i received them yesterday they were posted 4 days ago.
yes the order process is different you pay for the item first then pay for postage when they receive the items.
but I paid a quarter of the price I would of paid using Yamaha uk
Impex Japan deserves a 5 star review
Impex Japan deserves a 5 star review, I do not know why there are a lot of bashing/negative reviews towards them but based on my experience, I'm so grateful that I had no issues ordering from them. Yes, it may take long because if you read on their website they need to source it from the manufacturer, technically they are the middle man sourcing the parts needed and once it is fully gathered they'll have to pack and then deliver. if you think you are the only customer they have then you must be dreaming, be patient, their job is not easy.
Amazing prices. Huge range of items. Very slow.
Overall, an excellent experience. IMPEX's prices on the majority of items are well below the competition.
They can also get hold of parts which other suppliers claim are out of stock (e.g. Denso diesel injection pump parts) or simply don't have on their database (e.g. Yamaha marine diesel engine parts).
They make their order process clear on the website. It's clunky and a bit inefficient, but they make this clear. I like how you can make several orders and ship them together. This means if you want to order one important part and some small pieces, you can order the important part first. Then, if it is not available, you are not left with expensive overseas shipping for a few small parts.
I was expecting them to be slow (if you want fast service, use a more expensive competitor), but they are really very slow. It took 12 days between the last of my items arriving with them, and the parcel being shipped.
Shipping cost was reasonable. A couple of parts increased in price (not all prices are up to date), but the changes were very small.
Overall, very happy and will order again.
Read their Ts&Cs, understand that you can't expect a supplier to be the cheapest and the most efficient, then make a decision if they are right for you.

I've dealt with this bunch of con artists a number of times out of necessity in the past.
Their undertanding of good customer care is very poor to say the least.
Parts price changes and huge carriage cost increases are the norm and good luck with trying to get a refund if you want to cancel.
The last time I dealt with them (it really will be the last), I had to spend the best part of two days dealing with their courier company who had messed up the customs paperwork.
Impex refused to help sort out the mess and also refused to put a claim in against the courier company for a carriage refund due to 10 days late delivery.
Look elsewhere, there are much better people to deal with.
You Cannot Afford to Buy Parts from Here
Took a couple of months for them to obtain the part and get it ready to ship it. By then, with part number change, price increase, shipping, and PayPal fees increased the original amount to what I could buy the part from a local dealer for. Still, they wanted more money for shipping, after which, I would need to pay the tariffs to customs when it arrived. I was told I could not cancel, nor receive a refund. I did cancel by refusing to send more money. It's not easy to flush $200, but I can do it when I really try. Tread carefully.
Be careful when ordering used parts
If I could have given them a minus 5 star I would. Below is the my review which I left on their website and their response to it. Unfortunately the is no option to add pictures here. Last communication which I have received from them is that the supplier declined any type of compensation. They charge a fee to check if the item you purchased matches the pictures on the listing. That info was no where to be found at the time of purchase. They didn't even offered to verify the next order free of charge.

Be careful when ordering used parts. The physical condition of the part which I have ordered looks very bad compared to the pictures in the listing. I have reached out to IMPEX JAPAN and was told that this is the responsibility of the supplier (which I fully understand). They would contact the supplier. 6 days after not receiving a follow up response I reached out again. I was told that the supplier still did not responded , but that they would reach out to the supplier again. Today is 9 days after that response which I have received and still no further communication. IMPEX JAPAN notified me that verifying the physical condition of the used parts is a paid service (which I could not see stated anywhere. if stated it is somewhere hidden). I would have had no issues to pay for this if I knew about it. I find it very disturbing that an item is received to ship out, but not being doubled checked with the listing if it matches. The physical condition of the part received is far worse that the defective part it would replace. Keep in mind that the used part which I have purchased was listed as to have been removed from a vehicle that had 7000 KM on it. Now I have wasted money on the part and the shipping fees (which we all know is very costly).

Do not buy from this company! I ordered the wrong part & was told multiple times I cannot exchange or refund at all, despite refunds being listed on their own website as possible through paypal. If you buy from them, make sure you pay with Paypal otherwise when you need to get money back because they've inevitably charged too much for postage or refused to exchange etc, you'll need to open a dispute through paypal to get reimbursed - Impex will just keep telling you their policy is no refunds or exchanges.

Beware of this company. Disreputable, Ignorant and rude.
Disreputable, ignorant and rude company that does not see any need to comply with EU consumer protection law when selling online to customers in the EU, specifically in respect of EU right to withdraw/cancel online orders. I have notified the EU consumer directorate of this.
They eventually agreed to refund and then blocked me, although I had no intention of ordering anything from them again anyway, as I prefer not to deal with companies that believe they are above the law.
Update: Having finally agreed in writing to refund, they have failed to do so. So, it would appear, they are also dishonest.
Do not buy from Impex
Do not buy from Impex! I ordered two item, paid total JPY5155, which include a tax of JPY216. They replied after 1 week saying one item no more stock and the other price change and need to adjust upwards. So I canceled the item as well.
And they refund JPY4939 and decided they should keep the Tax??!!!

IMPEX JAPAN blocked me
IMPEX JAPAN blocked me, I can't log in, they don't want to refund my money. I ordered parts for a Honda Goldwing 1500 motorcycle from them, after placing the order and paying for them, it turned out that the parts were not available. It turned out that only 3 out of 7 parts were available and the price was higher. I canceled the order and asked for a refund, and then the contact stopped. Order number 496088. I suspect that IMPEX JAPAN is a cardboard company.
