Emphasions.com Does BAD Business
I ordered the touch lamp and, like the other review states, the final charge I received was higher than my receipt. I contacted the company and got a refund for the difference, but here's my issue. I ordered the lamp on impulse (I know, my error), and immediately clicked the Cancel option on the receipt. They chose to ignore my cancelation and shipped the lamp 3 days later. They are unwilling to work with me to return the product and obtain a full refund.

Bogus charge added AFTER order was submitted!
A day after I placed an online order with Emphasions.com (total of all charges on my receipt $39.99) I saw that they had added a bogus charge of $9.98 for sales tax. This is a Chinese company and cannot charge U.S. state sales tax! I would never have seen this charge except I was on my credit card website and saw that the total for this order didn't match my receipt. Yes, this is a SCAM company! I hope PayPal will help me. Buyer beware!!
