We took the private tour to Saqqara, Memphis and Dashur. Both the tour guide and driver were efficient, informative and very accommodating. I would highly recommend.

I had an amazing 6-hour private tour from Cairo Airport with Mo, booked through Emo Tours Egypt, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

From the moment I booked, Emo Tours Egypt’s communication was excellent — they were responsive, organised, and made everything very easy before I even arrived.

Mo was a fantastic guide. He met me nice and prompt at the airport and explained a rough plan for the day. He first took me to the Citadel and the stunning Mohammed Ali Mosque, then on to Cairo Coptics where we visited the Hanging Church, St Mary’s Church, and the historic Amr Ibn Al Aas Mosque. Along the way, he shared so much knowledge about Cairo’s history, culture, and religion, which made every stop even more interesting.

We also visited local cultural and artisan spots for papyrus, Egyptian cotton, and Arabic perfumes, which was a great way to experience another side of Cairo. We had planned to visit the Civilisation Museum, but it was unexpectedly closed due to a presidential visit. Instead of letting that affect the day, Mo quickly came up with great alternatives, took me for a delicious local lunch, and then made sure I still got to see the pyramids — which was such a highlight.

Mo was knowledgeable, flexible, friendly, and great company throughout the day. We had such a good laugh together, and he really made the whole experience feel personal, relaxed, and memorable. If you’re looking for a private guide in Cairo, I’d absolutely recommend Mo and Emo Tours Egypt.

We had another fantastic day with Maharan! This time he took us to the Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and even added a stop at the Citadel when we asked if it was possible.

At the pyramids, he stayed with us the entire time, which made a huge difference. We never felt hassled by the persistent vendors because he was always nearby. When we decided we wanted a camel ride, he quickly negotiated a fair price for us, so we didn’t have to haggle or worry about being overcharged.

One of the highlights was how much effort he put into taking photos for us. It was nearly 40°C, but he never complained. He walked all over the site, suggesting different angles and creative poses, and worked incredibly hard to capture fun, memorable shots that we’ll treasure.

Something else we really appreciated was that he never pressured us to visit carpet shops, perfume stores, or other places where some guides earn commissions. We were able to enjoy the day exactly the way we wanted, without any sales pitches.

Maharan is professional, honest, patient, and genuinely focused on making sure his guests have the best possible experience. If you’re looking for a driver who goes above and beyond while letting you enjoy Egypt at your own pace, I highly recommend booking him.

Mo is a great driver and I always felt very safe. He shared so much information about the pyramids and sites that we visited. His English is very good and he always gave me good suggestions about what to do and see at the sites. The air conditioning in his car was ideal and the bottle of cold water that he offered was refreshing during a hot day.

Our tour with Mr Moh was a great experience, My Husband and I loved the drive, and we visited the old Egyptian Museum, and other places we visited , and Mr Moh was very jovial and helpful. Best Luxury Tour in Cairo, I recommend

We booked a driver and audio guide only for a day trip to Alexandria. Our driver Essam wa steady and waiting prior to the 6am pickup in central old Cairo.

The drive was great and we stopped for a drink en route to Alexandria & coming back to Cairo.

Essam knew his way around no problem and we visited all the sites in a timely fashion and had a great lunch at Athineos - serving great food since 1900 and what a great lunch it was.

We paid for Essam to dine with us - albeit he ate at a different table whilst we enjoyed the great view across Alexandria harbour.

Each of the sights on the tour were great with the outstanding Library / Italian design Mosque / Roman amphitheatre / Qaitbay fort / Catacombs all visited and enjoyed thoroughly.

Essam got us to and from Cairo on a superb 5 lane highway both ways and and it was great value having his getting around a bustling city such as Alexandria.

Mahran was our driver and made the whole experience a great time. He was informative and navigated the hectic streets with ease and that made it easy for us to relax. Ensuring we stopped off for snacks and the restroom if needed. I would definitely recommend this trip as it allows you to tour the less visited sites that the city has to offer.

Great way to see Saqqara and Dahshur pyramids.

Nuestra experiencia con EMO Tours fue lamentable. Mi pareja y yo reservamos el crucero que partía desde Aswan a Luxor con ellos durante semana santa, la empresa prometía actividades "privadas" y nos aseguraron guía en español, pero la realidad fue otra, casi todas las actividades fueron en grupo DE OTRAS AGENCIAS y además los últimos dos días nos dijeron que no tenían guía en español. Este tipo de agencias lo que hacen es contactar a un guía local que ni es parte de la agencia en destino, sin embargo, vimos con nuestros propios ojos que otras agencias lo que hacen es pagar a un guía que te acompaña durante todo el crucero, porque en nuestros caso nadie nos avisaba de nada, había que estar preguntando en recepción la hora de recogida, la hora del desayuno, el programa de llegada a los templos. Durante las comida y las actividades coincidimos con personas de otras agencias que les costó la mitad de precio de lo que nos costó a nosotors, pero claro, a ellos claramente les habían dicho que las actividades eran en grupo.
