stay away this is a con web site. They send the wrong items and when you return them they have to go to China which then they say never arrives so they never refund your money. stay away

Rubbish quality and when I returned the items to their China address they refused to accept it and it was returned to sender. Then they didn’t refund as it wasn’t received.

The dress didnt look like the picture on the internet and it was poor quality and fit so I returned the dress to China - at the address i was provided with by Elle, only to have it returned to me 3 months later as "bounce message".
I think the company is a scam.

This website is a SCAM. The clothes were complete rubbish, nothing like the actual items I ordered. I was offered a 20% refund if I keep the items, but I had spent $280 so it wasn’t worth it. I spent $50 to return the items to CHINA, only to have them returned to me when they got there. They gave every excuse under the sun and took no responsibility. Do NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

I would give this company a zero if I could. They failed to deliver my order of two pairs of "Anti Sweat Luxe Linen" pants and instead sent me "100% cotton" pants that weren't even the advertised brand. I wasn't expecting the pants to be ship from China. As I was only visiting Australia at the time, by the time they arrived, I had already left, and they were held for me until my return a few months later. Although they have a 30-day return policy, they did not take my situation into account and showed no remorse for their fraudulent practice. I wasn't even offered the correct pants as compensation. In short, I strongly advise against purchasing from this online company.

Several problems dealing with this company. Transaction was processed before I finalised order. Complaint made immediately told couldn’t be refunded until item received and returned at a my cost. Item didn’t arrive for weeks by which time I’d left for a 3 month absence. On return find this very cheap garment that I paid $90 for! Nothing like photos!

Absolute scam, don't buy from here. I bought a jacket and shirt thinking it would be great quality but when it arrived it was cheap crap from Temu or Shein that you could buy from them for a quarter of the price. They didn't fit so I wanted to return them, well what a nightmare. They tried to discourage me but I sent it and paid for it and after about 4 months, it got returned to me as it was refused to be collected on the other end. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, look on Shein instead, you can get it all there.

I received my order a month late looked nothing like the picture. Sent it back to China at my own expense.

Product never arrived despite number promises “it was out for delivery”. It’s a scam - don’t buy from them. Wish I had checked trust pilot first

As others have said , if you could give 0 stars you would. I even tried PayPal to get refund but no success. Even though the last email indicated that Elle had refunded 75%.
TOTAL SCAM

Horrifying experiences with emails. Total scam. Products are rubbish. You will never get a refund. They are not closing down. Ordered Cashmere jumpers and received polyester . They lie to you and pretend to care but it’s a total scam. They don’t care One bit about how they treat you and they only want to steal your money so don’t order from them. The clothing they sent me is not even satisfactory to give to Charity. If there was a zero rating that’s what I would give. They don’t deserve a one. There should be a law against doing what they do they should be prosecuted.

I'd give this mob a '0 star' review if I could. It's a scam. Cheap quality fabric. Wrong sizing compared to advertised. I returned the order following their process and paid for that privilege, only to have it returned to me 4 months later because it was 'refused' and 'unclaimed' from China - yes, from the address they provided.

cheaply made garments - tried to return them- they ignored my emails and then finally offered a 20 % refund - when I declined that - then they said it was now > 30 days since purchase - so no refund available !

Absolutely rubbish. Bad quality fabrics, sizes were too small compared to advertised. And i have been trying to return the order for the last 4 months with no success despite paying $40 in return fees, i package flipped right back. Customer service emails back and forth, refusing to refund unless they receive the package. They ask you to return to a dodgy address god knows where in china. Scam!! Beware

This company does not operate out of Australia and is a scam. They’re not closing down but advertise to have a closing down sale. They don’t honour their return policy which requires you to (at significant cost) mail your return back to China

TERRIBLE!! they won’t return my money from a dress they say is in customs was way too small cost $42 to return to CHINA DO NOT USE

I recently placed an order l wanted to cancel it within the hour they refused they claimed this was not possible giving inpausable reasons l then said l l would return the items and they stated l would have to pay for the return as per their policy l find this completely unacceptable given the timeline my last communication today 21 June 2025 is noted below:

I have not been notified of my order being despatched my goodness your “Website is currently undergoing maintenance” therefore your cancellation process is not visible l might add it was not evident at the time and the reasoning l find is incredulous at the very least a ‘coincidence’ pardon me for being septical

If this was as you say an established policy then why was it not already listed as a policy and pray tell at what point does this warning appear during the purchase process an example would be much appreciated

When l first purchased from your site last year this was not the case when exactly did your term’s change

If indeed it has now been despatched then why does it not appear on your Tracking Option

COULD NOT FIND ORDER

I ordered 3 pieces of clothing shirt had ‘God’ written on it All items too small and bad quality. I returned them to CHINA at a cost of $39. They kept telling me my email address was wrong despite them using my only email. Never again. PS no refund yet but not holding my breath. Put me off online shopping forever

Be warned - dont expect a refund from Elle!
I purchased a dress from Elle on March 25.
It arrived on April 14.
It was not good quality so I followed all their instructions to return it for a refund.
It was sent back on April 16 at my own expense (Elle does not cover this) and photos of the package and the tracking number were provided to Elle as they had requested.
It is now 9 weeks later and Elle refuses to give me the refund because they say the parcel has not arrived at the factory in China.
I sent Elle tracking confirmation from AusPost showing that the the parcel was received by the postal carrier in Shanghai on the 18 may, which is over a month ago. But they still refuse my refund.
