without having to go bankrupt (the fees are reasonable and it doesn't take long to find what you're looking for because there are plenty of genuine ladies). So anyway I wanted to cancel my EliteSingles membership. I spent 4 months on ES and I came across only one genuine woman there who was 7 years older than me. We didn't fell chemistry but at least she was real. This was my most successful time on ES if you can really call it successful. I've been having lots of issues trying to cancel my subscription and leave Elite Singles. They make it extremely difficult. The next thing I will do I will go to the bank and close my cc to put a stop to ES attempts to bill me for subscription that I canceled.

Elite singles is the worst dating website I have ever used. There is no customer service. I signed up in California. I regretted my decision immediately and tried to cancel. Under California law the company is required to refund your money if you wish to cancel subscription within 72 hours of signing up. I notified them within that period of my desire to cancel. No one from the company responded. Then I was automatically charged for another month. I tried calling the phone provided with the credit card transaction. It was an invalid number. I sent to messages via their website. No one ever responded. Further, from what little I used the site there doesn't appear to be many singles using the site. I don't recommend!!

Terrible website. Don't bother subscribing.
Very few subscribers.
Nobody suggested to match for weeks on end.
Took out a subscription for 6 months.
Complained about the lack of people and Tried to get a refund from them - they didn't even answer.
The worst.
Am taking down my profile even though I have months left.
Complete waste of time.

Elite Singles may be of some help in finding a companion in the big cities but close to regional Australian towns, forget it. I chose a radius of 50 kms from a major regional town in Qld for matches, with zero responses. I ended up setting a radius of 200 kms and all I was getting as matches was from Brisbane, the Gold Coast over 400 hundred kms away, and even one from South America. This is a very common complaint from the matches I corresponded with.so unless you are wealthy enough to travel to see your match forget this app. Also for people in their mature years, everyone one has their own house, children, and friends and they are not inclined to leave their home to go somewhere else, which entirely understandable.

Tried to pay in £ with a credit card. The site told me I needed a different currency despite the invoice amount being shown in pounds. Decided to delete the account - there is no way to delete the account. All in all a very poor experience.

Very few local matches I found. And there seems to be less local matches after I paid the subscription, than when you are having a look around before you pay. I exercised my EU 14-day right of withdrawal and was refunded immediately. You do not have give a reason under this rule for withdrawal. This should always be exercised if you find any dating site dead or lifeless, which many are. Like match.com and many dating agencies now: no longer can you select a particular area to search or country. You are quite limited, even if you widen your criteria significantly or to the max I found. I would advise going for the lowest amount which is currently about €54.00 which is for one month, if you feel you want to try it. There will be less money to refund... I see a contingent of people on it which are also on other dating sites. Currently, there customer service do respond quite quickly, which was not previously the case according to reviewers on Trustpilot. I also found people on there who have lives which are so busy, it is hard to believe they would have an hour to spend freely given the enormous narratives they write about their busy lives — so there is a big drawback with elite people so to speak. Others on the site have no picture and they have to be asked for it. Others again have only the bear basics on their profiles with very little information. This is typical of a lot of dating sites, so nothing special about Elite. Generally, notwithstanding Elite.ie, online dating agencies are failing.

One woman a month and they are usually in another province hundreds of miles away.

Ladies & Gents please watch out. This company is a data mining scam mascarading as a legitimate dating site. I paid for 3 months upfront. I couldn't access the premuim level to see people's photos. I complained and 5 days later I got proper access. It then just went from having access to not back and fourth. I now can't access the site at all and the password reset won't work. I really think the profiles are fake too. There are lots of profiles with no photos even when I had premuim access. DO NOT SIGN UP. There are plenty legit sites out there.

A completely disgusting scam. Ensure you read ALL the reviews ... once you do you will never give money to these criminals. Their business model is to get your card details ... take payment(s) ... hide the terms and conditions in the small print ... keep taking hundreds of pounds without good or timely notice / reference to their 'customer', So I have posted this with FIVE stars .. TO GIVE DUE WARNING TO MORE PEOPLE, never to do business with these people. !! Look at ALL the negative, factual reviews. I shall feel better that by stealing my money, they shall lose MANY more customers in the process. Nataly
