En este mapa, no asume que el porcentaje de hispanos procede de España, pero no se da claridad sobre este punto, sin importar cuán reducido sea el porcentaje. El informe es bastante insatisfactorio. Coincido en que tuvieron que esperar un año por estos resultados.

El 16 de mayo recibí el material para cargar los resultados, lo mandé el 9 de junio, les llegó hasta el 29 de agosto, ya pasadon 3 meses y medio y aunque les he escrito y me han dicho que cómo máximo 12 semanas y luego me dijeron 20 y hoy me contestan que para diciembre estará y en su página el estatus es el mismo "Recibió su biomaterial y empezó a trabajar con el", si siquiera está el estatus en "Su ADN ha sico aislado y analizado". Me parece que es una falta de respeto y que deben decir en su propaganda que los resultados pueden tardar hasta un año para que los clientes lo tengan claro y tomar una mejor desición.

Waiting since December 2024

I bought three test as christmas gifts. They were confirmed as received by Eligens on January 2025 and since then ther has been no update at all. They have a terrible customer service with an AI that only apologize and tell you to keep waiting. Their customer response at support @eligens.io is at any way better. A totally rubbish experience! Several other online comments I found echo similar issues, particularly regarding delays in receiving kits or results and terrible customer service.

Please dont use this company

PLease please dont use this company and your anything else but this. their markeing materials lie. we send the samples in the beginning of December, its mid April and they still have not have started wortking on it yet. It can take a few more months. Please avoid this company.

Terrible service

Terrible service. They received my sample in November 2024, it passed quality control, since then they have just been postponing results every time I reached out to them, and finally when I requested refund and elimination of all my personal data from their systems they didn’t even respond (12 days since I sent the request). Looks like I am not the only one with this experience and the fact that they are unable to complete existing orders doesn’t stop them from promoting on socials etc. Just ridiculous.

No results and no response

When I first heard about eligens, just a few reviews suggested it took longer for results to arrive - I wish I read the reviews again when I was ordering a kit.
It has been 4 months now since they confirmed receiving the sample and no results, no responses from support, no way to get any feedback from them at all. They keep running social media campaigns though.

They do not refund if the shipment got lost!

Sent my sample back to Latvia according to instructions. Should have taken 1-2 days. After 2 weeks i started asking why it has not been registered as received. Customer service told to wait until end of month. At 39 days wait time I still did not have any progress and asked customer service if it is lost and what is the process. They just told that according to policy they do not refund if the shipment got lost. So they just take the money and give nothing in return. Sounds like...scam.

it’s just a scam

I’ve send my kit at the begging of December. First they’ve promised for analyses to be ready in December. Then in January. Then February. In January, they wrote me an email with apologies and stuff and that if during February the results won’t be ready - they will understand if I’m gonna request for a full refund. And now it’s the end of February; I’ve sent them already by now two emails for a full refund. Guess what? They just don’t respond. I believe it’s just a scam and nothing more than that. I am about to request a return transaction through the bank by showing them all emails proving that it’s a scam and that I didn’t actually get anything what I paid my money for.

Too long, not sure if I will get results.

I sent my kit with a sample back in October, and I still have no results. Every time I try to get an update, all they say is, "We’re sorry, we’re too busy, and we’ve had issues with chemical reagents."

Is it normal for a company specializing in chemistry to have such issues for months? Do they have a plan to resolve this? Is there any procurement strategy in place? We have no idea.

What we do know is that, for almost five months, they haven’t been able to deliver a service that—according to their own estimates—should take 6 to 9 weeks. First, they promised my results in December. Then January. Now, we’re waiting until the end of February… And who knows, how long the sample can give correct information?

Still waiting results!

I do not recommend this company if you do not want wait your result more than 5 months. It's ridiculous, because I sent to Eligens my material in August and I still haven't received the results. And I don't even know when I'll get them! I wrote them many messages and every time I get the same message "We got a high volume of samples". But it seems like you have a some kind of queue, so why hasn't my turn come yet? I'm very very disappointed, considering that your company was recommended to me by my immunologist.

It's been 6 months since I sent my…

It's been 6 months since I sent my sample and I am yet to receive a report. The service offered results in "up to 3 months", which is 100% fake. Not 1 person online has received results in that time frame. Customer service is terrible, they never answer your account's support chatbox. They dodge responsibility.

Informative Results, But Long Wait Time

I recently tried Eligens DNA tests, and while the test kit arrived quickly and was very easy to use, the results took much longer than expected—over three months to receive. Although the wait was frustrating, the detailed report made up for it. The information provided was incredibly insightful, covering not only ancestry but also my health, nutrition, and fitness predispositions.

Eligens clearly puts a lot of effort into making their reports comprehensive and user-friendly, so the wait was worth it in the end. Their customer support team was also responsive when I reached out for updates on my results.

If you’re okay with a longer turnaround time, I’d definitely recommend Eligens DNA tests for anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of their genetic profile. The insights are well worth the wait!

I found out about the health risks and now I lead healthier lifestyle

I did a DNA test with Eligens over a year ago and am pleased with the results. In my personal account, I have information about my ancestry and relatives in the Eligens’ database and some helpful information about my health. Some of the risks I know about, but some of the mutations are new to me. For example, now I know that I have a risk of Alzheimer's disease, and I decided that I need to lead a healthier lifestyle to decrease this risk.
Though the results took some time to arrive, I'm still content with what I've got for this price.

I recommend the test to anyone looking for a DNA test with different data, not just ancestry-related.

I ordered a DNA testing kit and was…

I ordered a DNA testing kit and was foolish enough to only read the reviews on their own site . My kit apparently got lost in the post . Initially it had the correct address and postcode on . Somehow when it reached halfway to its destination it was held at customs no big deal normally I get an email to pay customs or pay at the delivery depot this didn’t happen then somehow it was sent to the wrong country ! I emailed them and they just said wait a few times and then I did all the leg work myself three different mail company offices across my city in different languages and three different countries , then they can’t touch it because it hasn’t arrived here so they can’t help . I mentioned that every company said their contract as with the sender not the recipient so as you can see it seems like it’s a mail company problem but I asked them to open a complaint with whoever they sent it with as I could do literally nothing . They told me they opened a complaint and I should wait 5-7 days . After that time I emailed and asked for an update I got no reply twice so I opened their chat portal on their own website where I repeated the whole scenario again and they said they would respond by email . It’s been about another week and I haven’t got anything at all . I also emailed them saying that in my experience an investigation doesn’t get the parcel or the money back so I offered 3 potential options as far as I saw it .
1- resend the test ( not a great idea as the first one never made it . )
2- send another test kit to a country I’m visiting in a couple of weeks
3- give me my money back because I’ve paid over €100. And got nothing and spent a heck of a lot of time calling foreign offices going to postal depots and at this point in time only the kit has been sent out surely the lions share of the work is the testing phase so I’m the one losing the most amount of money with no recourse . Surely they insured such an important package . I feel lost and annoyed that I’m not being taken seriously. I understand a loss in the post is not their fault but how they handle it afterwards is up to them .
I was going to wait a little longer until I started doing research and found there are a fair few whose tests got lost in the post and never received a refund and lost their money and were metaphorically kicked to the curb . Obviously if things change I will gladly amend the review but ive done so much running around like I say I’m not multi lingual not fluently anyway and I have had to do all of the legwork with no test and no refund .id say save yourself the heartache and go with a more prominent company .

I will edit this review because they have said here they have reached out several times and haven’t replied . That’s not true , the only one I didn’t reply to was the last one I only saw it 48 hrs ago I have been unwell and due to prolific storms in Italy I’ve had intermittent internet and didn’t want to reply while I was unwell .

You say you have made these offers but I suggested sending to a different address at the end of September beginning of October but by the time you replied the short trip was over and I was back in Italy . Offering pregnancy planning to a 54 year old woman who has long since finished her reproductive years isn’t the best thing either .
I have requested a refund several times . I was told to please be patient and wait a week . That was more than a month ago and I asked have been having back and forth since the end of August and we will be hitting the end of October soon .
I definitely appreciate the offer of a refund that I only saw two days ago but was dated the 15 th October. So let’s hope I get a refund still for me this wasn’t the best experience .
Eventually things were sorted out and I was given a refund . It wasn’t their fault the postal company lost it . Initially it wasn’t handled the best but after some miscommunication on both parts I have been given a refund and they said in an email they are going to change the logistics on this so I future things should be a lot different to my experience . Thank you for the refund it is much appreciated .
