A family member mentioned her friend used Elevate Destinations for an African Excursion. I reached out and enjoyed the communications at first. Where the wheels came off was when I didn't get back to her within a few weeks. I voluntarily admitted that we had been to Europe etc, and that the dates she mentioned may now be gone (again, realizing my fault). Additionally, I mentioned one of the estimates was too high, and that I would circle back.

What I was not happy with, was her email reply insinuating her estimates were not even "close to what my friends had paid per person."

I found this offensive and a bit uncomfortable. I told her I was unsure why she felt the need to mention that - and that I wasn't the client for her. I wished her well.

The owner replied with an even ruder email chastising me for some other perceived slights. I was astounded at the level of unprofessionalism.

Reading the terrible review before mine about poor and unprofessional communication - I think I dodged a bullet.

We just worked with Elevate on a three-week trip to Kenya and Uganda. Elevate put together a spectacular and seamless trip for us with great attention to detail throughout. Even after the trip was set, Elevate continued to come up with ideas to make the experience better such as realizing we had a long layover and suggesting a day hotel to get some rest before our flight. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Everything was amazing, from the moment we stepped off the plane until we boarded to come home. We were taken care of as if we were family and our safari was truly awe-inspiring.

They have personal knowledge and experience at each of the lodges and conservancies on our itinerary. Every place we went had great accommodations, great staff, great food, and, in particular, great guides familiar with the wildlife, the history, the animals and their habits. I can't say enough about Elevate and the trip they put together for us.

Thoughtful itinerary with great activities for the kids but also enough free time to do some exploring on our own. Lodging and all drivers, tour guides we worked with were very accommodating and caring towards the kids.

The team at Elevate Destinations tailored our special anniversary trip exquisitely to our desires of beautiful gardens and delightful food, with amazing accommodations. Our guides were deeply knowledgeable about the local areas we visited in Japan and our daily itineraries featured local producers as well as off-the-beaten-path temples, gardens, and trails.

My trip to New Zealand was carefully curated, with great attention to the places I would visit and the places where I stayed. The accommodations were first class and all of the tour guides were knowledgeable. Having Elevate Destinations handle the itinerary enabled me to be fully present in the moment.

Elevate Destinations carefully curated an incredible personalized experience for a trip to Uganda. We first learned about Elevate as they were selected as the travel partner for an NGO we were visiting near Kampala. We also wanted to visit the Bwindin National Forest for a Gorilla Trekking excursion. Our vision for the trip included finding local guides, lodging and services that had a heavy focus on sustainability, supporting local communities (including employing locally), local farming/gardening/sourcing of foods and responsible travel and tourism. Elevate absolutely nailed it. In addition to curating the perfect experience, their communication, travel packing and planning, country guides and pre-planning information was best-in-class. On the ground in Uganda, everything was executed flawlessly from being greeted at the airport and navigation customers to reaching destinations on time and as planned. It will be hard to travel anywhere in the world now without involving Elevate Destinations.

Our two-week, four-city tour of Spain with a group of 10 went without a hitch. The planning was easy and interacting with the country crew was a pleasure. Transportation went smoothly, hotels were beyond comfortable, and restaurant recommendations were terrific. Elevate demonstrated their knowledge of the country as well an understanding of our group and its various interests as well ages, from 8 to 75.

The trip was customized based on my stated preferences, and the local providers were accommodating beyond our expectations. I typically painstakingly plan trips myself but this year handed it all over to Elevate and they were fantastic! Plus they were communicative and fairly priced.

Lana planned a trip to Japan for my husband and I and my husband’s 81 year-old father. She listened to my wish list for the trip and to my concerns and planned a flawless vacation. She thought of everything down to the smallest detail, including helping me with my need to be gluten free. My father-in-law raved to all his friends about the trip, which speaks volumes because he’s tough to impress.

My recent trip to Argentina was the second one that Elevate Destinations has arranged for me. Just like the first one - which was to Tanzania and Uganda - this trip was a fantastic experience! One of the things I really appreciate about Elevate Destinations is that they work with me to arrange a personalized itinerary that fits my interests, and they suggest additional fun activities that I would never have thought of on my own. In this case, my objective in going to Argentina was to visit Ibera National Park. With Elevate Destinations' help, we put together a 2-week trip that included 4 unforgetable days in the park, plus a tour of the highlights of Buenos Aires and a tango dinner show, visits to Macona and Iguazu Falls, a personal tour of an indigenous Guarani village by a village elder, and so much more. The lodging, meals, guides, and drivers were all excellent. I'm already working with Elevate Destinations to arrange my next trip!

We’ve had Elevate plan 7 of our trips. Everything from the pre planning to execution is seamless. They always take into account our hobbies, likes and dislikes and everything about our itinerary is always perfect. We’ve traveled with Elevate twice and have loved our customized trips. We are an active family with two young kids. We travel a lot on our own as well, but it is so nice to have such well thought out and curated itineraries. We have already booked our next trip.
