Rude Emails from Owner
A family member mentioned her friend used Elevate Destinations for an African Excursion. I reached out and enjoyed the communications at first. Where the wheels came off was when I didn't get back to her within a few weeks. I voluntarily admitted that we had been to Europe etc, and that the dates she mentioned may now be gone (again, realizing my fault). Additionally, I mentioned one of the estimates was too high, and that I would circle back.
What I was not happy with, was her email reply insinuating her estimates were not even "close to what my friends had paid per person."
I found this offensive and a bit uncomfortable. I told her I was unsure why she felt the need to mention that - and that I wasn't the client for her. I wished her well.
The owner replied with an even ruder email chastising me for some other perceived slights. I was astounded at the level of unprofessionalism.
Reading the terrible review before mine about poor and unprofessional communication - I think I dodged a bullet.
