Great idea for a perfect gift !
We first saw the beautiful shop on the island, and we had the idea later to order some pictures on the website. The process was easy and the communication geat. We love the result !

Watercolour map
A lovely Christmas gift for my daughter and family who toured the Western Isles a couple of years ago. They haven't opened it yet but I know they will love it. It was delivered promptly in perfect condition.

I'm a little bit annoyed by the customs fees that I had to pay on top of the shipping costs (16 € extra), but I know that it doesn't depend on the shop.

The map of the Hebrides was as beautiful as I had imagined, but I hadn’t anticipated being hit with a surprise €20 customs charge when it arrived to be delivered to me here in Ireland, which together with the postage made it quite an expensive gift. Brexit 🙄

I am glad you enjoy my art. Regarding Brexit fees, I completely understand your frustration. Small businesses and customers like yourself paying more, but resulted in poor reviews like this that last years and effect search results, for something that is absolutely not in my control. it is stated on my shipping that Brexit fees may apply and this is common for all business' selling to the EU.

Anoter à cause du Brexit, il y a des frais de douane (14 euros de taxes à l'arrivée chez nous) et nous n'avions pas vu cette mention lors de notre achat.

Bonjour, je comprends la frustration concernant les frais de douane. Ces frais liés au Brexit sont clairement mentionnés sur ma page de livraison, et malheureusement, ils sont imposés par les autorités locales, donc hors de mon contrôle. Le Brexit a été incroyablement préjudiciable à mon activité artistique, tout comme cette critique, à la fois hors de mon contrôle et à la fois blessante.

A Memorable Engagement Gift
Having been in Eilidh’s shop in Stornoway earlier this year and bought a beautiful Hebridean Map print, we knew exactly what to get when our son popped the question to his now betrothed, in Nairn.
Eilidh made a beautiful map highlighting where they were engaged and the towns each of them are from. It is gorgeous and a truly fitting remembrance of a wonderful day in their lives.
