Excellent service for EPC certificate.
Spent the time to do all measurements and survey the apartment.

I booked them for EICR and an engineer came, did some checks and explained to me a few things. All good, very good communication so far. But that's it, nothing after that, no reports, no follow up. I wanted to proceed with them for a fusebox upgrade, I never heard back from them. I sent email, no response. I called a week later, the woman on the phone told me that the person responsible for those appointments was busy and will call in 5'. That's it never received a call back.

So to summarise, I paid £99 for someone to show up, he used a flashy thingie on some sockets, told me that I need fusebox replacement (I already knew that btw, thanks) and disappeared. So yes, leaning towards a scammers website

I have used the company before. They are reliable and efficient. This time, Riley attended and took the time to find out information to troubleshoot. He also took the time to explain things in great detail to me. He arrived neat, clean and was polite and respectful. He is an asset to the company. Would highly recommend them for a boiler service and gas safety check.

Extremely disappointed with this service. I booked a PAT test for 8th August, only to be told the engineer was “too busy” and it was rescheduled for the 11th. On the day, I waited until 7 pm — the appointment was supposed to be between 3–6 pm — and I called them four times during that slot to confirm they were coming. Each time, I was assured, “Of course, we’ve spoken to the engineer and he’s on his way.” No one showed up. They ended up wasting my time on two separate days, promising to come and failing to turn up both times.

Without asking me, they then rescheduled for the 12th between 3–6 pm again, despite me clearly stating I would be in Dorset. I requested an early morning slot before 8 am, but this was ignored.

I’ve tried contacting them via Instagram, WhatsApp, their website, and email — no reply. No accountability. No care for customers’ time.

I’ll be cancelling and will never use them again. Absolutely not recommended.

I had a good experience using this company for Gas and Electric certifications for the sale of my house. Would have given 5 stars, but they had canceled my appointment the afternoon before the due date which caused some extra effort to rearrange. Luckily, it didn’t impact the sale.

I had my electrical certificate carried out, some issues were found and rectified within a couple of days. Great service

Dreadful experience! Gave up in the end and will search elsewhere. Have had appointment rebooked by the company on the day - not once, but twice! I cancelled everything and am hoping the refund will come through.

My case is because the original metre box has an iron frame, that is difficult to install consumer unit in for any engineer. I have had a misunderstanding in the process of dealing with Efficient Homes and I have taken it for granted that no company will really regard customers as more important than making money. But this experience proved that I was totally wrong. The company not only sent an engineer in a timely manner, the engineer also tried his best and solved this very difficult problem satisfactorily with a conscientious and responsible spirit for the customer. In this regard, I have to sincerely recognise that the Efficient Home is a reliable and reputation-oriented company, and It should have a 5-star rating.

Found the team to be punctual, easy booking process and quick turn around on the certificates I needed

At the time of booking I was not given full terms and conditions, engineer left my keys with someone who wasn’t dealing with the property and left as soon as he could and when I called to rebook I was told I will be recharged and when I asked for refund I was refused.

The engineer was on time, polite and professional. Admin is efficient and helpful. No hassle and very reasonable price. Have used for some years and will stick with them. Highly recommend
