We had an excellent tour with Kristel explaining the history of Scotland, Edinburgh and the Castle.
Kristel was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting and pleasant…I finally think I understood the different royal families in Scotland.

I have the tour with Kriestel. It was incredible. Not only because she's super friendly, but also because of her knowledge and the passion she brings to her work. She does it with care, knows many details, and doesn't hold back on her knowledge to make your tour magical and fun. I loved it!

Kristel was fantastic. She did a great job giving the history of the castle and making it fun even when a couple of warm climate Americans were freezing. We really had a great experience and it helped as we walked around the castle to explore on our own.

A really lovely experience getting to know some history about the castle. Our guide Kristal was excellent and very knowledgeable on so many interesting topics. She was super to keep the group happy and together, especially in the rainy and chilly weather.

What an absolutely wonderful experience touring Edinburgh Castle! From start to finish, the walking tour was engaging, informative, and beautifully paced. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, bringing history to life with fascinating stories, humor, and a genuine passion for Scotland’s past.

The views alone were breathtaking, but it was the rich detail and personal touches throughout the tour that truly made it unforgettable. We learned so much about the castle’s history, the royal connections, and the many layers of stories hidden within its walls.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh—it’s an absolute must-do! Thank you for such a memorable and special experiance.

We had the pleasure having a tour with Kristel. Fortunately it was just the two of us. She was very funny, had lot of cool stories with references to modern franchises and TV shows. She was just nice and answered all our questions and was thoughtful of our wishes. I can only strongly recommend tours with her!

Me and my friend had a Whisky tasting with John. Normally there would be between 10-25 people at one of these tastings. But, we got lucky, that we were there of season, so we were alone. And what a tasting it was. John, that was our "guide" this afternoon, made the time fly away, gave us the time to really work through all the flavors, smells and explained the difference between the four bottles of whisky that we worked us trough.
John made this a really personally afternoon, and the whisky was great. The worst and hardest thing, was to dissed whith two of the four whisky we should buy on the way home.

Great tour. John our tour guide made the experience of the Edinburgh Castle unforgettable, with his deep history knowledge and also funny way of describing some of the details.
