Horrific Customer Service
It’s now been another 48 hours without the courtesy of a returned call or email, despite our repeated attempts to contact the Wokingham dealership daily. Neither Bradley, David, nor Gavin has taken five minutes to address the outstanding issues we’ve raised. We are continually promised someone will “call us back,” yet that promise remains unfulfilled. If I could give zero stars, I would. Until someone takes responsibility and provides a genuine resolution, I will continue sharing our experience across multiple review platforms.
We have experienced consistently poor customer service from Eden Wokingham dealership since purchasing our Hyundai in June. Despite numerous attempts to engage with the team, we have not received any resolution or meaningful communication. No one has made any effort to correct the issues outlined below, and calls are routinely met with empty promises of a callback that never materialises.
1. Incorrect V5C Details – The dealership registered the car under the wrong name. Despite acknowledging the error, they have taken no steps to amend it.
2. Missing Second Key – Over a month since purchase, we are still waiting to receive the second car key. Multiple phone calls have yielded no progress.
3. Undetected Oil Leak – More seriously, the car had a pre-existing oil leak that was not identified prior to sale. Another Eden Motors branch confirmed this and informed us that we are entitled to claim back expenses (such as train tickets) incurred due to the vehicle requiring a new oil tank—an issue resulting from this dealership’s negligence.
This review is written in the hope that someone will finally take responsibility and resolve these matters. My husband has been in regular contact and is still waiting to hear back from the manager, Gavin. So far, we have only been given the runaround, and we are extremely disappointed by the complete lack of accountability and customer care.
Excellent service from start to finish at Eden Vauxhall Banbury
I just wanted to write a quick review following my recent experience with Eden Vauxhall Banbury.
From start to finish it was an incredibly professional and helpful service. Jamie Grant and Zain Khan were fantastic throughout, clearly know their product and are passionate about their work.
I’d definitely recommend this dealership to anyone and it was well worth the drive over from Leicester. And, the new Vauxhall Grandland I purchased is fantastic.

Poor service experience at Exeter - oil deposits on my drive
A major service was carried out by Exeter Eden Vauxhall on my Astra Sports Tourer on 4 March 25. A few weeks later I noticed that engine oil stains had appeared on my drive. When I contacted Eden regarding the problem no immediate offer to remedy the situation was made, instead I had to wait about 6 days for an appointment on 15 April.
On 15 April I was told that the leak had been due to fitting of a faulty sump plug washer which was replaced. I was not shown the faulty washer. The service manager agreed to top up my fuel tank as recompense.
Firstly, I must say that I’m surprised that a fault on a simple sump washer is not immediately obvious to the fitter. I would think that most faults of this sort are caused by use of the old washer which may well have suffered compression and damage.
Secondly, I understand from a service manager elsewhere that, after a service, it’s considered good practice to run the maintained car and then check for leaks. This is clearly not done at Eden Vauxhall.
Thirdly, I am left with oil stains on my drive which are the direct result of poor Eden Vauxhall workmanship.
I don’t wish to detract from my deep disappointment but emphasise that the desk officer and service manager I dealt with were both pleasant and professional.

Superb customer service throughout the whole process of buying my latest Mazda. Laura helped me while I tried to identify exactly what I wanted, and handled the process of creating the package with incredible patience, finally arranging the agreement etc. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble to make sure that I chose and received the car that I was looking for.
Liam handled the collection of the car and he went through all of the paperwork carefully and clearly, explaining every piece and the reason for it. The handover was good with clear explanations of those elements of the controls and technical elements that were different than my previous Mazda. A great advert to anyone looking to buy a Mazda. It has to be said that I am a fan of the brand as this is my fifth Mazda. A huge part of that has to be down to the staff at Eden Mazda Taunton as the level of service across the departments has been excellent.

Been with Eden Torbay for the last 9 years and everytime it came to trading my car in I’ve had nothing but top quality service. My recent one was a man called Ben, very helpful and knowledgeable. He’s an asset to the business and his customer service skills are second to none. Highly recommended
The worst customer experience I’ve had
Eden Wokingham - The worst customer experience I’ve had, not just from a car garage but in general. Couldn’t honour the agreement, the brand new car turned up with a dent in the door (apparently) after it already being 2 weeks late, the second car came in but then the finance system was down for 30 hours (apparently) even though their competitor who uses the same system had 0 issues, they valued our car then took off over 2k when the deal was actually looked at, this was after 7 weeks of placing the order and them confirming in writing they would give me the same price for our car that was valued 7 weeks ago but somehow dropped 2.3k in that 7 weeks (their problem not mine). Ian the main manager tried blaming it on his sales guy and that he had over priced our car even though Ian had signed the purchase order form for our car on the day. Chased for updates as wasn’t given any until I had chased, they missed every deadline and milestone of the order. Do not buy a car from them. I went to Snows in Basingstoke and within 2 working days had the car tagged to me, finance approved (same system as Eden) and docs signed ready to be picked up all in 5 days, it took Eden 7 weeks to come up with nothing but lies and under promises.
