Not comfortable, firm old seat, roof leakage
We had a very bad trip on Ecolines bus from Khmelnytskyi to Krakow.
The bus transfer in Lviv was more or less fast, but the new bus arrived for the transfer was in the awful conditions, very small place for legs, old firm seats, definitely not comfortable.
The first thing, during the transfer in Lviv, it appeared that our booked seat #3 was occupied, and the driver said: "The company changed your seat, take a seat #43."
It's not a big deal, sometimes it happens that the company can't inform properly about the changes, so my grandmother went to another seat. The problem is the new seat was wet. The bus roof over the seat had a crack, so the water was falling from the roof right on the seat.
Please, check the conditions of your buses and set up proper information over the seat changes via email or SMS notifications!
Terrible service
I recently had a terrible experience with this bus company Ecolines. Our departure from Vilnius to Warsaw was scheduled for 16:00, but we ended up leaving at 17:32 because we had to wait for another bus with more passengers. While we were waiting, the air conditioner didn't work, making it very uncomfortable. On top of that, the bus was filthy. The company didn't offer us anything, not even a bottle of water, to make up for the inconvenience. I am extremely disappointed with the service.

Vor etwa einem Monat buchte und bezahlte ich die Busreise bei dem Unternehmen "Ecolines", druckte das Ticket aus und erfuhr am Reisetag, dass die Reise nicht an diesem Tag, sondern einen Tag früher stattfinden würde, und nicht nur das, auch die Uhrzeit hatte sich geändert. Ich wurde weder per E-Mail noch telefonisch benachrichtigt. Meine Beschwerde wurde mit einer kurzen E-Mail beantwortet, in der es hieß, ich könne einen Tag früher abreisen oder die Reise stornieren.
Jeder, der noch mit dem Gedanken spielt, dieses Unternehmen zu nutzen, sollte die Finger davon lassen!

Great experience
Personally, I had two trips with them. In both cases the buses were very clean, equipped with USB ports and normal outlets, and we also had a screen with a big variety of entertainment (movies, music, games...). Honestly, never travelled with a company which such good buses (usually flixbuses are much worse). In both of the trips, the bus arrived before scheduled time. So really nothing to complain!
The routes were Tallin-Riga and Riga-Vilnius

Bus was very clean, enough comfortable and everything was working as intended. Toilet was clean and working, Coffee \ tea machine worked perfectly and it was a nice touch for a long journey like that one. Driver was careful and every part of the journey (that was managed or responsability by Ecolines) was perfect. We got stuck 3 hours on Estoninan border, but that wasnt on Ecolines. Only thing that I can add, I can understand this is a route mainly used for Russian speakers, but as a person that dont know Russian, it would be great to have some important warnings also in English, like "get ready passport" or something. I had the luck to have near me a Russian \ English speaker so I could get translations from Russian. I found one very kind driver that also spoke English on my way back and it was really helpful but my way from Tallin \ SPB was all Russian speakers drivers \ warnings. Maybe add some warnings in English for very important things. Rest was perfect and I would use your services again in the future
I'm writing this review, because this company looks very poor rated but I found everything was made close to perfectly on their side, at least on my two trips so I dont think they deserve this low score.
Avoid them if you can
I won't write the whole story there (it would take to much of my time, as wellas yours), but in short: I bought a ticket from Amsterdam to Vilnius. When my train to Amsterdam was delayed decided to go to Utrecht (there was the first stop). Tryed to make changes on the website with no avail (they let you to change date, but not the departure or arrival place). Efforts to call was also frutsels. And guess what. After bus has finally arrived I was denied the entry on the grounds of "you had to board at Amsterdam, not in Utrecht and your ticket was cancelled without a refund".
The rest is history, but you get the point.
Please ban Eclines!!!!

I want to share my opinion about the Ecolines company - it’s a nightmare!
On October 12, I flew from Bulgaria and arrived at Riga airport at approximately 08-09 o'clock in the morning. Then I had to go to Tallinn and I quickly, through the online service OMIO, bought a ticket from Riga airport to Tallinn bus station from Ecolines for 12:00. Around 11:30 I went out into the street so as not to miss the bus and find where they stopped there. It was cloudy and windy outside, the temperature was around +10 degrees. Around 11:45 I receive a text message that the bus will be delayed by 15 minutes. At 12:00 another SMS arrives that the bus will be delayed by 40 minutes. At 12:50 I started to worry and was already freezing - I was traveling from warm Bulgaria, where it was +20 during the day, and was not very prepared for +10 and the wind. I tried to call the number from which the SMS came. I thought maybe it was their dispatcher - to no avail, no one answered the phone! Contacted OMIO service support. The guy said that they had no information, advised them to call and gave them their phone number. I call - no one answers. The guy from OMIO support called back himself, asked how things were going and gave another Ecolines phone number, sent me a site where you can claim money back from Ecolines and said that if the bus is delayed by less than 2 hours, the money will not be returned (according to EU law). I call the second phone again - it’s busy, well, I think I’ll talk now. I dial after a few minutes - no one picks up. As a result, there were no more text messages, no one answered the phone from Ecolines, there were no messages that the bus was canceled... they just left me with my suitcases in the airport parking lot without warning. I waited until 14:00, was cold as a dog, and after 14:00 I booked a seat with Flixbus (a great company) and left for Tallinn at 15:05. After waiting 2.5 hours outside in the wind, of course I got sick. I wrote an online application on the Ecolines form for a refund and it’s been almost a month now - November 5th and there are no apologies, no money from Ecolines - just silence. Here's Ecolines' service. I will never recommend this terrible company to anyone, do not contact them! They will throw you away and won’t even apologize, not to mention returning some 15 euros - a complete waste of a company and the same service!!!

The buses feel like they are gonna fall apart. AC broken so makes the bus a hell. Slow wifi so forget streaming 4K netflix. There are screens in the bus but they don't turn on and are cheap chineese LCD screens (pixels clearly visible). Cannot charge phone (USB port on the entire bus does not charge). The bus interiour feels used and poorly maintained.
If you wanna get transported fly, take a Bolt taxi or take the train Don't take this BS

The bus was ok, fairly comfortable, clean. However, it was quite hard to communicate with staff. We waited almost an hour to leave Warszawa Zachodnia (with absolutely no information given about the reasons. Same somewhere in Germany where we stopped theoretically for 10 mutes but stayed half an hour. As a consequence, we arrived in Berlin an hour later than scheduled and I was late for a connection in Berlin, which cost me a lot of nerves and money. I understand that the arrival hour is "approximate" but I would expect delays like this only happen for some particular reason.
I will try to avoid Ecolines next time I'm looking for a bus connection.

I needed to change the name on the ticket. Called support, they told me to write an email to admin@. The request was urgent, but nobody answered. I also couldn't do it in my account (why?). So I had to call again.
