Easy Bathrooms - Durham Arvostelua 37

We bought a tall wall mounted cabinet for the bathroom and all went smoothly until we noticed the poor construction of the cabinet on delivery.
(Note that despite the cabinet weighing over 30kgs and the packing stating it should be a two person lift, there was only one delivery person so if you need to go up any stairs you’ll need to help with lifting)
We immediately complained to the shop. We supplied photographs to show the issues. The assistant in the shop then put the details, along with attached photos, in an email to Customer Services and we were told we would have to wait for a decision from them. Eventually, after 9 days of waiting for a response - and after several visits back to the shop- we telephoned Customer Services ourselves and were told it was a ‘scrap and replace’ and that a new unit would be ordered. Not much communication from the shop but eventually a second unit was despatched. Again only one delivery person.
On opening the package, before even removing the unit from the packaging it was apparent that there was mechanical damage to the unit in several places. We suspect that as the external packaging did not show significant damage, the unit had been dropped at some point.
On delivery of the second unit we asked the delivery person if he was going to take to original unit back. He said he didn’t know anything about it and we could either take it back to the shop or to the tip. (So ‘scrap’ really does mean scrap).
More photos taken and a further trip back to the shop ensued. This time we spoke to the Deputy Manager of the shop who said she would intervene and get us a replacement by 7 days. This time we elected to have it delivered to the shop so it could be examined before we picked it up. Luckily the shop is only about 10mins drive away and our car is big enough to carry the packaged unit! True to her word, the Deputy Manager did get a replacement within the week time frame.
The third unit was sent with extra padding to protect it.
The third unit was up to the standard shown in the showroom (although some of the screws on the door hinges were not attached properly) so we took the package home and attached it successfully to the wall.
Overall, for such an expensive item, the construction quality of the first item was poor. There was also limited communication from the shop once the issues were raised - I would have expect more active communication to keep us informed of progress.
Will not be rushing back to use Easy Bathrooms again.

Lovely, well thought out showroom. Every display with price list detailing what each item costs and whether other colours available. Lots of choice. Staff approachable and helpful. Reasonably priced. The products arrived quickly. All in all, bathroom buying made easy.

Helpful planning and friendly staff through to very professional fitting great job all round

I had a bathroom fitted by this company over six months ago resulting in flood damage to my property. It has been one enormous battle which has left me exhausted and furious trying to get the property repaired. They are not returning any of my communications anymore and now I am resorting to bad reviews to try to get in touch with them. Now means I am going to be forced to take this through the legal route.

Friendly staff and Andrew knew exactly what I was after. Better still when he told me there was an offer on them. I picked the tiles up from the store, the guys loaded them into the car for me. I'd buy again when I need tiles for my bathroom.

I would not recommend this company my elderly parents were fobbed off by staff who clearly were not experienced and the tradesman that fitted it made numerous mistakes and also the plastic on the walls doesn’t match and there’s gaps in places and also if sunlight hits it it goes yellow absolutely terrible

The showroom has a good range of bathrooms & staff are very helpful.
