Great service friendly people and a good car was supplied , all the safety gear in it was top spec for a good price and the car was in very condition , and the shuttles service form the air port was excellent and efficient. Return was quick and no hassle.

All went to plan on our holiday, car was exactly what we booked and staff were very helpful and friendly, will use again on next visit to Tassie

What a great experience from East Coast Car Rentals. We would definitely use them again. Firstly, the welcome was warm and friendly. Secondly, our travel agent had completely ballsed up our booking and booked it for next year, so when we arrived we have no car waiting for us. The team were patient and supportive whilst we spend hours on the phone to our travel agent and car rental broker and did everything they could to try and help us. Eventually, we found a solution and Eastcoast found us a car. The car was in excellent order, we had no issues with any paperwork or process and when we returned the car, we were directly invited into a shuttle bus and transported back to the airport.

The whole process was a delight, the staff were warm and friendly and everything was simple and clear.

Hired a car in January 2025 - easy pick up without normal delay - transfer from and to airport great. When we dropped off car they said stay in and took us straight to airport in the hire car. Staff efficient, car clean and photos taken and sent prior to leaving yard. Highly recommend

Booked through an agent for thsi hire but east coast were the guys we got the car from. Super friendly people to deal with on pick up. When I returned the car (polestar electric) it was on 87% full. The lady was pleasantly amused and said they don’t mind you bringing it back with less than half( the company we booked thru had 80% as the minimum). We had a good chat while she looked over the car, and I went to wait for our shuttle back to the airport. Another agent came out to give me a $30 refund on account of the electricity I had put back in the car. A really nice offer. They also got another staff member to drop us back to the terminal in one of their rentals, as the bus had just left and wouldn’t be back for 8-10 minutes or so. Another friendly guy to deal with on the way back. All in all, they were brilliant to deal with and would 100% use them again.

Very good price and pleasant experience, no complaints. The pick-up and drop-off process was quick and straightforward. I would definitely return to East Coast Car Rentals and recommend to others.

We used East Coast car rental in both Adelaide and Melbourne. For both places, two important factors determined our choice - location and price. For Adelaide, we wanted somewhere close to the Adelaide Parkland Terminal as we were on the Great Southern and then catching The Overland. In Melbourne I wanted a city pick up and drop off at the airport. It ended up being perfect. Cars were less than two years old both times.

They were able to find me car the day I needed it. Life-savers. They were patient even though I was a little flustered at how to go about booking face to face. Recommend to all.

Only gave one star as rental car was cancelled as we flew into Hobart. Left us with an expensive Uber as an option and now carless. Complete disregard for customer .

Short shuttle ride from the airport. Professional set up and quick handover of vehicle. Return of vehicle was also quick and easy followed by a 5 min shuttle to the airport. Prices were very competitive. Will use again.

Sydney staff are great! 6th time renting from ECCR, 1st from SYD. Staff are wonderful. I waived the insurance because my CCard covers rentals, but dinged the front fenders. I was so stressed until the staff reassured me that it would be okay. Yes, I had to pay the required $4400A damage deposit, as required, but within 3 weeks, Claims had sent me all the needed paperwork and refunded the unused portion back to my card. The SYD staff gave me all the photos/documents I needed to start my claim right away. AND the car was great, very fuel efficient, staff connected my phone/taught me the features, and I love Australia. Car was spotless and almost new. Staff were wonderful. Can't wait for #7! Also, prepaying ahead online, staff will lower rental rate and refund difference if there is a sale/deal anytime up to 2 weeks before you get the car, as long as you email them and ask for it. Free cancellation. Unlimited miles. Inexpensive gas station nearby. Easy access building in Mascot. I returned the car in the evening, walked across the street to the Travelodge, got a great sleep, walked my luggage across the street back to ECCR and got their quick free shuttle to the airport. ECCR made my adventures perfect.

We hired an almost new Corolla hybrid for 3 days for about $110 plus the insurance waiver. It was excellent value for a surprisingly good and economical car. Staff were helpful and friendly as well.

The pick up and drop off was quick and easy. The drop off service was excellent. I arrived at 6:30am as I had a 8am flight. The store doesn’t open until 7am but I was just going to drop the keys in the slot and walk to the airport. One of the staff just arrived and asked me what time my flight was and then offered to drive me to the airport in my hired car. It was going above and beyond what I expected. I also liked that I was asked to take photos at pick up as evidence of the state of the vehicle. My only small complain is that during pick up, the guy kept asking me to pay extra for insurance. I told him my credit card covers car rentals but he kept insisting that it doesn’t cover what I needed.
