Légèrement supérieur au traitement brut de lightroom
Interface intuitive, facile à prendre en main. La possibilité de comprimer les sortie permet gagner de l espace sur son disque dur. Dommage que le masquage ne permette pas des sélection directe(sujet, objet,...) pour ma part tester sur différents type photos (voie lactée, paysage, lune, macro,...) par rapport à lightroom. meilleur dans les tons foncés. Très legère différence dans le rendu final.le plus de rendu a ete au niveau de la partie basse de la voie lactée sombre sur la photo de base ou des rendus ont été redtitue

The results are good. I do not like the menus. I do not like you do not know or cannot save when Denoise is run. I cannot see DX0 in Photoshop plugins or plugins.

The system requirements are quite demanding, which means that on my 4GB video card and 32GB RAM Ryzen 5 PC, I have to wait a ridiculously long time before the program finishes an operation. As a solution, I was told that I needed to buy a video card with 6GB, but I am still thinking about that.

A valuable addition to pre-processing
So far I've been really impressed with the results from processing my images through PureRaw. Everything now goes through PureRaw first before opening in Lightroom Classic/Photoshop and provides a great base camp for processing my images. With PureRaw I no longer worry about using a higher ISO. It's been a valuable purchase. It does the job efficiently and to a high standard.

DxO PureRAW is excellent… but the upgrade policy is not
I’ve been using DxO products since the OpticsPro days, and PureRAW itself is genuinely excellent. That’s precisely why this experience is so disappointing.
I purchased PureRAW 5 on November 19, 2025. Four months later, PureRAW 6 was released—and despite being a very recent customer, I’m expected to pay the upgrade fee with no meaningful grace period.
This isn’t about misunderstanding the policy. I’m aware of how their upgrade system works. The issue is how unforgiving it is in practice, especially for customers who purchased shortly before a new major release without any visibility into what was coming.
At the time of purchase, the messaging around updates their Marketing reinforced the idea that I was buying into the current state-of-the-art version. Then, just a few months later, a new major version arrives, effectively making that purchase feel outdated almost immediately, and it hurts so much their selling point of is your forever (outdated but yours forever) Vs a subscription
DxO’s own support documentation confirms that only purchases made after a specific cutoff date may qualify for a limited-time offer, sometimes sent by email—and that there are “no exceptions” for anyone earlier. In reality, this means that even very recent buyers fall outside any reasonable upgrade window.
To be sincere this made me soo angry, and not sure why frustates so much, I guess is the sense that it broke the trust I could have around this Company. It feels like am just another dumb buyer, that just fell into the marketing trap... perhaps I am dumb afterall because this happened to me with Photolab 4 as well!! lol
Because of this, buying DxO products near the end of a version cycle becomes a gamble because you never now when that cycle ends or begins!—and that’s not a position customers should be in.
PureRAW is still a strong tool (the best denoising to be fair), but I would strongly recommend that potential buyers take this into account before purchasing. As for me, this experience has significantly damaged my confidence in DxO probably forever, and I hope they reconsider and introduce a fair, transparent grace period for upgrades, so at least other could avoid so much frustration. Thanks

We understand your frustration, especially given the timing of your purchase. When purchasing DxO PureRAW 5, you received a lifetime license for that version and all the features it offered at the time, including the benefit of Black Friday pricing. As with most software sold under a perpetual license model, major new versions bring additional improvements and features and are offered as paid upgrades rather than included automatically.
We also note your comment about timing. Purchasing a product toward the end of its version cycle at a very attractive price, or waiting for the next major release and paying full price, is often a difficult choice that many customers face with software and technology products in general. As with many software products, previous DxO release dates are publicly available, and they indicated that DxO PureRAW 5 was already in the later part of its cycle.
That said, we hear your concern about predictability and trust, and we appreciate your feedback on how this experience felt from your perspective. Comments like yours are valuable and help us reflect on how we communicate around releases and upgrades.

I love the product. It realy helps to manage noise and enhance my photos.
THe only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I bougth the product a few weeks before the release of DXO PureRaw 6 and can't upgrade to this new release for free. Which I think should be the case.

PureRaw funciona muy bien y estoy contento con la aplicacion, no puedo decir lo mismo de Photolab9 ya que no puedo utilizarlo como complemento o junto con Luminar Neo, no sabia que esto no era posible, si lo hubiera sabido jamas hubiera comprado Photolab9.

Lizenzvergabe nach PC-Crash
Neben den umfangreichen Anwendungen der Software aus dem Haus "DxO", war es einfach, nach einem Crash (Motherboard total Ausfall) im nachhinein die Lizenzen selbständig neu zuzuordnen.
Eine Deinstallation der Software vorher und somit zurücksetzen der Lizenzen war nicht möglich.
