All in all, it works great. I would like it to register a trip if the unit is stationary for let’s say 10 minutes. Example: I drive from the shop to a location to deliver parts or pickup parts and leave my phone in the truck the app now shows a trip with a start and end location the same. It would be good if it showed the stop.

Accurate and easy to use. Sometimes doesn't start automatically though, but easy to 'add trip' later.

Driversnote can do as much work for me as I want. It gives me a variety of routes to choose from when I am creating a manual trip. I like the option to create manual trips so that I don't have to give the auto-tracking permissions. I love that is does all the calculating for me and even makes the report that I send to my employer. I think it will grow with me so that I will be able to save even more time with auto-tracking, if I ever choose to activate it. The small monthly fee is well worth it.

In 2025, I was using the embedded Quickbooks mileage tracker but it missed a bunch of trips, which cost me in tax deductions.
For 2026, I switched to Driversnote. So far, it has captured every single trip I've made without exception, even without using their optional tracking device or plugging anything into my truck.

The app is ok. With the iBeam bluetooth thing it does drain your phone very fast if your working near your car.
I have to deactivate GPS if i work within 10 meters from my car, since it starts gps tracking when im close. Samething if i have to get alot of tools from the car my phone is getting drained.

But the tracking is great and autotracking when i get into the car is awesome. The price for 12 months is in the high end though.

I have already forgotten about writing in my logbook ... but luckily my Driversnote saved me missing out on claimable km's.
Love it, making life simpler and easier.

I find Drivers note easy to use and it helps make likef easier.

I enjoy the interface and everything is quite intuitive.
If I can add a slight negative. The app does use a lot of battery life. If in permanent Auto mode this can catch a user unawares - rapid battery life depletion.

Love the app and the simplicity of using it, both while making a trip or entering the info manually. My tax guy says he likes how easy it is to use it for my deducions.

Easy and it just works. Used it for several years now together with a beacon.

Tracking my eBike miles pedaled usign the iBeacon for food delivery is so easy and HMRC compliant. Each trip provides information how much can be claimed during self assessment.

So easy, all you have to do is review every drive once it has been completed.

With the beacon in my armrest....I don't know what others do for mileage but I get anywhere from $400 to $900 per month in mileage reimbursement and Driversnote makes it really , really easy to get my mileage in on time and accurately. It is not free...so it better be this good.....and it is!!!!!!!!!!
Occasionally it gets a little wonky, the screen seems like it is double wide but only shows me the left-side of the display... but typically forcing the app to close and then re-opening it again and it is golden! Like maybe once or twice a month it does that. I would call it a very tiny hiccup...but I have never lost data! Even without the beacon, it is still pretty easy if I am in another car and have to start and stop a trip manually.

This makes logging milage simple once set up.

The app tracks miles so accurately, I can go through once weekly and know that all my fleet miles have been tracked. One less thing for me to worry about.
