Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional and Poorly Managed

I purchased a Groupon voucher for a Glutathione injection appointment at Harley Street, scheduled for 4 PM. Upon arrival, I was given a consultation and told that the injection is only effective as a top-up after completing a full Glutathione IV course, something that was not disclosed anywhere in the Groupon listing. Instead, I was pitched a £999 IV course (discounted to £899 for new customers). I declined, especially given the travel involved, and was then advised (honestly, which I appreciated) that the injection alone wouldn’t make a difference.

As an alternative, I was offered a Glutathione microneedling facial for £200. I asked if this could be done within the time of my originally booked appointment, and Dr. Ifrah agreed.

However, the experience quickly deteriorated from there.

Numbing cream was applied by reception staff who double-dipped her gloved fingers into the jar, instead of using a spatula, a clear cross-contamination risk and very off-putting in a clinical setting.

I was told the facial would take 30–45 minutes, but I was left sitting in the waiting area for over 1.5 hours with the numbing cream on.

During this time, I witnessed another customer being sent to reception with a gold mask slipping off her face, not a professional look at all.

Despite being told I was “next,” two other customers were taken in ahead of me, with repeated apologies and excuses from reception.

Eventually, I had enough. I wiped the numbing cream off in the bathroom and prepared to leave. Only then did Dr. Ifrah come out to apologize, blaming the delay on my treatment change. But if she was already overbooked, why agree to the new treatment in the first place?

In the end, I wasted my time, money, and effort, and left without receiving any treatment. Overall, this was a disorganized and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this clinic based on how I was treated.

I recently visited Dr. Ifrah’s clinic and couldn’t be happier with the care I received. I had a few treatments including Botox. I’ve already noticed a real improvement & couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Ifrah consulted me with genuine professionalism, truly listening to my needs. She never tried to upsell or push unnecessary treatments, it was clear her focus was on what was best for me, not financial gain. Her gentle, precise, and delicate hand made the whole process comfortable and reassuring.

She’s amazing at what she does, and I’ll definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended!
