From sceptic to certified facilitator
My journey with Dr Demartini began in 2008 at the Breakthrough Experience. About an hour and a half into the program, I had a deep sense of how privileged I was to be hearing a perspective on human behaviour so unique it touched my core. That weekend I gained more understanding of myself, my behaviour and others than I could ever have imagined.
The personal shift I experienced ignited a desire to understand the science behind the questions Dr Demartini asked. As I explored it, I held onto the scepticism that accompanied my admiration for his breadth and depth of knowledge. For a number of years, I kept expecting to find the catch. I haven't found it yet — and eighteen years later, having built my own practice as a certified facilitator, I can say with confidence the method is solid and the results are empirical. Time after time, I watch lives change as clients balance their emotions and learn how to move forward with certainty and confidence.

In 2019 my wife and I lost our daughter to a stillbirth just two weeks before her due date.

The grief spiraled down fast. Within two months, I was in such a dark, hopeless place that I had chosen a specific tree to drive my car into to end it all. I had even gone out to test if it would do the job. I was completely ready to give up.

Then, I attended the Breakthrough Experience and went through the Demartini Method.

Reluctantly, I agreed to do the grief process. It took over 50 lines of intense, rigorous work using Sides A, B, and C of the Demartini Method to dismantle the blame, the hate, and the anger I was carrying. My wife did the process as well.

The shift we experienced was nothing short of a miracle:

That tree did not take my life. Instead of grieving our daughter, we learned how to honor her for her contribution to our lives and the short time we had with her.

Shortly after completing the process, we went to the botanical gardens to celebrate her life in true gratitude. It was the first time I had seen my wife smile in over three months.

This work took me from a directionless guy taking life one day at a time, to a man filled with an unstoppable purpose.

If I had stayed in my old mindset, I would be dead. No question about it. This work didn't just change my life, it literally saved it.

I am living proof of the profound, impact of this man's methodology.

I just did The Breakthrough again on 16 May and I am so grateful that I did.

Dr. John Demartini has been one of my most inspiring teachers, As a learning lover,I have dedicated my life to learning and learning some more, Dr. Demartini has helped me to open my eyes to observe that, that is on my blind spot, not only he helos me to see what I had not been able to see on my own, but build clarity form that moment and more. I am a banker turned personal empowerment coach. Having worked for 14 years in the banking industry (10 in corporate banking and 4 in government & institutional banking), I was unfulfilled and began my search for that service which will give me meaning a fulfilment. Since then, I have worked with over 1000 clients in 12 countries on a one-to-one basis and sometimes in a small group setting. It has been such an inspiring, meaningful & fulfilling journey, making a deep difference to my clients as they overcome stress, conquer brain fog, gain clarity, dissolve emotional charges, bounce back, empower all areas of their lives, and move forward with inspiration toward their authentic goals aligned with their life purpose / soul mission.

It’s his ability to synthesise the sheer volume of content he’s got across all these different philosophies and theologies, and pull it into a method that actually works. That’s the genius of it. He’s taken everything and made something you can actually use.

Whether someone agrees with every idea he presents is, of course, their own choice. For me, what matters is that his work has consistently challenged me to question my assumptions, think more deeply, and become more accountable for my own perceptions and actions.

One quote of his that has stayed with me over the years is:

For me, that single idea has been worth revisiting time and time again.

I attended the breakthrough experience and was absolutely blown away. It was a life changing experience. I wish i knew how to do this sooner. The biggest takeway from the weekend is learning how to diffuse all the emotional charges from my past and childhood, causing me to live in the past, instead of the future.
