This is my second review. Wanted to say that if this isn’t a scam, then what is. After reading all the reviews on this page, I feel awful that so many people are getting dooped by this scam. This company needs stopped and shut down. They know what there doing. Please somebody somewhere take action and stop this fraud.

Very uncomfortable pillows i bought 2 different styles. Very dense and hard. Dont believe the 30 day return policy if you open it they won't take it back. HORRIBLE waste of money

Update as of 01/21/26
After testing this firmer down & goose feather pillow I'm giving it 4* today. It seems reasonable comfortable compared to pure down pillows I've slept on before. It makes a bit of noise compared to my old pillow and I tried to change the pillow cover that came with the pillow for free for one extra large one. It helps a bit but not as much as I hoped for. That's why I'm not rating full 5*.
Update as of 12/27/25
The down pillow finally arrived today. Still have to test the pillow itself so for today only a review on the buying experience.

Update as of 12/21/25: I finally received an order confirmation including shipping information.

Update as of 12/20/25: Downyhaven first offered to reimburse me if I requested a cancelation. After I asked which of the two charges exactly would be refunded they answered that they were able to deliver now but that I had to close my dispute first. Now I'm still waiting for an order confirmation email and a delivery date. To be continued...

Ordered a downpillow for sidesleepers and got charged but no confirmation email. After contacting customer service I was told the item was sold out. After requesting reimbursement per email twice I got no response. Contacted Downyhaven per phone as well and waiting for my money back now. This review will be updated if this issue gets resolved quickly.

After hours of review reading I chose DowneyHaven pillow and I was sorely disappointed. I wish I had read these reviews as their website ones never mentioned the defunct return or exchange policy. Who in the world offers zero exchanges or returns on a $100 item in this day and age?!

Cheap, overstuffed and overpriced. The feathers poked through the pillow case making it obviously unbearable. To return you have to foot the bill to ship to china?! I finally took the offered percentage off to keep the mediocre pillow because shipping to china was out of the question. The pillow is now in the garbage.

The pillow was very disappointing. Not at all like described. Before ordering be sure to read the fine print in refund policy. Refund policy very misleading.Buyer beware.

downy haven is an unethical company they do not honor refunds they will gaslight you for weeks. i really hated my pillow and let them know the very next day after i got it. they would not give me a refund it went on and on and on. finally they said i would have to send the pillow back to china on my own nickel please be warned their pillow is horrible and they do not honor their refund police. i never got my money back. they will gaslight you in the reply by how can we help . this was a whole month of horrible frustration. do not put yourself though this

The website says you have 24 hours to make changes to shipping. As soon as I place the order, I realized the delivery address was wrong. They shipped my order out to the wrong address 12 hours later. Now, I can’t get THROUGH TOCustomer Service through the phone number because it says the mailbox is full. I SENT THEM A MESSAGE THROUGH TWITTER (X). No response.

I called Chase and they will not issue a refund. I really wish I had read these reviews about this company before I placed the order. I’m blind and on Disability. This was a very expensive mistake.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Pillows looked impressive upon arrival, but about 4 weeks in flat and don't fluff up at all. Terribly disappointed. These were supposed to be my last pillows ever and now I wish I had kept the others from Costco. :/

I want to post this to potential purchasers of DownyHaven pillows... their return policy says 30-days. It's a giant hassle to return a pillow. Mine has a quality issue - it does not stay fluffed. They told me to fluff it every day with tennis balls in the dryer. That's a big hassle every day for a $100 pillow that goes flat every night. So beware, to return, first you must pay the shipping. Then, you need to have saved all the packaging, pillow cover, thank you card, etc. for them to accept it. And it's many many many emails just to get this far. I have a quality issue with it - and they do not understand it. My word to the wise is make sure you are 100% committed to this pillow prior to purchasing as even if you have a quality issue, they do not believe it and make you jump through a lot of hoops.

The way this pillow contours to my head and neck is amazing, and the support is just what I needed. Very satisfied.

I love how a quick fluff in the morning makes this feel brand new. It stays supportive all night long without getting flat, which is just what I needed.

Do not and I mean do not waste your money. This Chinese company promote their pillows as the best. But the fact is that they do not hold form. They squish down very quickly and don't provide any support. Do not believe the good reviews. Gave them to my dog.

I ordered two king pillows from this company. they arrived in a few days. their listed address on the website is in Colorado, however, when I tried to send the pillow back because they are so uncomfortable and did not offer the neck support they stated, They gave me a very hard time and then made me return the pillows to China. I paid the $110 to send the pillows back and never received a refund. they have held up the item's in customs so they do not have to issue a refund. PayPal is on their side. DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! AND DON'T USE PAYPAL!!

If you don't have $500.00 to ship your pillow back, don't buy DownyHaven pillows. No joke! A $100 pillow costs $500.00 to mail back to the only address they provide.

But WAIT, there's more!

I had the misfortune of buying TWO of their pillows so that's $1,000.00 to ship them back!

I'm not kidding!!

I have a shipping fee quote (unfortunately there's no way for me to attach the quote) from UPS to ship from CA to you'll never guess where. The shipping address was the only return address they provided me after I asked several times for the return address and after they tried to persuade me to keep the pillows by offering a 20% then up to 25% discount if I changed my mind and decided to keep the pillows.

DownyHaven has a tiny storefront in Colorado. If you thought you could return your purchases to Colorado at your expense (like I did) you'll be in for a very big surprise. I was! Colorado? Nope, CHINA! $500.00 for one 4.3lb pillow! $1,000.00 for two pillows!

By the way, the only way to actually even feel the pillow is by removing it from an airtight sealed bag. Once you've done that, you can't put it back in the bag and remove the air again before shipping -- they expect it to be returned in an airtight sealed bag. So, good luck returning any pillow that has been taken out of those bags. Luckily, one of the two pillows was still in its original airtight sealed bag, but the implication is that I'm stuck with one of the two.

I bought the LuxTwist goose down pillows. They are advertised as being good for stomach sleepers. They are not! The pillow is ridiculously puffy and uncomfortable and caused me both neck pains and headaches.

These pillows are worth neither the literal headache they cause nor the actual time wasted. DownyHaven uses deceptive practices to try to earn your business. Do yourself a favor and do business with an actual reputable company. Not DownyHaven!

I'm unable and completely unwilling to ship their merchandise back to China for HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS in the hopes of being refunded my money after "inspection".

So, now my only recourse is to file a dispute with my credit card company because their return policy is deceptive. I provided Chase Bank with the info and they will now investigate it. Chase Bank told me these kind of scams happen all the time. They told me most people will just chalk this up to a learning experience and drop it. It's a hassle to try to return their merchandise and that's intentional. If more people were willing to follow through on this kind of stuff, these kind of predatory companies wouldn't survive.

My goal here is to spare other unsuspecting victims of this kind of this scam.

This pillow is the perfect blend of soft and supportive - I'm waking up without neck pain for the first time in years.

they took my money and never delivered the product. You cannot reach them and the number they provide gives you a recording you will be billed for the call. Total SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not order from this company unless you are 100% sure you will not return the item. They advertise a 30-day return policy and warn that you are responsible for return shipping. What they don't tell you is that if you need to return the item, you have to send it to an address in China, and "After we receive the item, we’ll inspect it within 3–7 business days, and if it is free of stains or damage, a full refund will be issued. Alternatively, if you decide not to return the item and would prefer a 20% refund."

Obviously, DownyHaven is not concerned about customer satisfaction. I do not recommend this company.

Quills sticking out all over!!!!! Wasn't able to mentally deal with return within 30 days, now I read it wouldn't have mattered!!!!! Thought I would keep it as the between the knees pillow, but quills made that too painful! Wasted 119 dollars. I should know better than to trust the reviews on their website!!!

To put a finer point on it? This is a US Company on the front end. After money is exchanged for goods, the only recourse is to ship the item to China.
