Gaslighting (lying) is a sad case of a mental issue going on within those who spread hate because they dont like DD'S methods so they make up fabricated stories.
. I know for a fact that several dog trainers bashed this man & asked their minions to join in SMH (grow up). due to pure jealousy- SHAME making up false stores like this. I learned this man Augusto also goes to shelters & for FREE helps dogs on thr euthanized list, bless him.

We looked at how many dogs we saw in action that he saved, & at their afters & knew somethibg didnt sit right with us about all these people making up stories we found out later we're false.

So off I went.

I found the dog daddy on youtube, tictok FB & several other platforms when we were desperate to find the best trainers out there. Wow this guy SOME haters hate had close to 8 M followers SUCCESS) & after just watching a few of his training methods in action I knew he was the one.

Our dog wanted to kill babies, people & other dogs! No trainer would touch him! No trainer succeeded & told us they couldnt help! Our own vet wanted to put him down.

We were determined to get our dog help after spending thousands & getting nowhere!

DD just makes sense to me, the way he touches these dogs & shows them who's boss!, His videos showed us how he could turn a dog like mine into what we needed to get our dog the help he needed! I watch many more videos & NEVER saw anythng but sucess & a LEADER who knew what he was doing!!

Eventually he was coming to our area. We booked him. BEST DECISON WE EVER MADE!! He took full control of our dog that nobody else was able to touch. HE gave us the tools to teach our dog to become better, safer, & friendlier. NEVER did he take our extra money we offered to help his cause with rescues. He declined.

ALSO- To the poster who said he never showed up in Texas, thats interesting because thats the class we attended!🤔 & after going back & looking at his old post tours its the only time in 2025 he was there, nice try though . So sad to make up such a LIE!

IF IT WASNT FOR AUGUSTO AKA DOG DADDY our dog would of ended up getting put down.

You cannot expect a dog trainer to not use some kind of dominance with these kinds of dogs wanting to kill others! All these other trainers were afraid of our dog, NOT THE DD! Our dog would never behave using jist a leash so yes we did go with a prong. PICK YOUR POISON- Killer dog or prong that ended up not being anything at all that we thought it would be. A quick pop, and he listened, obviously there'd more to it but his methods WORK!

I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DOG DADDY 100% HE SAVED MY DOGS LIFE AND FOR THAT WE CANNOT SAY THANK YOU ENOUGH TO THIS SWEET MAN THAT HE IS.

He set up pre paid dog training in New York and Massachusettes then, cancelled with no notice or warning. He set up several Go fund me accounts under the guise of collecting money for a dog sanctuary but never built one and kept the money. He takes the money people give to him and buys TikTok gifts for random young men to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars instead of donating it licensed rescues. There is no record of him owning commercial property, a residence or a business location to train dogs at. He recently posted a video about living in a remote area with plans for him and his dogs to kill and eat wild life. Another video of him making calls to his followers family members telling them that their is a petition signed to remove their dogs to scare them. An elderly woman and her friend posted on a group chat that he took $5000 cash for a training session in Florida then cancelled the session and refused a refund and she said his friends were threatening her if she pursued the refund. He made a video stating he lives in a remote isolated area inside a storage room and quite frankly comes accross as very unreliable and untrustworthy.

This guy is NOT a dog trainer. He is not fit to be even called a human.
He knows he is wrong. He knows he knows nothing about dogs yet he abuses dogs for fame and money. Pure evil!

HE NEVER SHOWED IN HOUSTON, TX FOR THE DOG TRAINING EVENT IN MARCH 2025. HE POSTED ON FACEBOOK HIS TOUR DATES. I PAID $400.00 AND THE DAY OF SENDS AN EMAIL THAT HE IS CANCELLING AND WILL REACH BACK OUT TO RESCHEDULE ANOTHER TIME. NEVER HEARD BACK. DO NOT USE HIM. IT IS A SCAM.

He was kicked out of my home town for hoarding and neglect. The house was decaying due to all of the feces. The amount of dead animals they found was shocking. He was allowing his dogs to eat goats alive. He is known to take money and literally run to cars, and speed off. He not only shuts dogs down, which is generally dangerous because the probably resurfaced (and usually the behavior is worse), but he is a deplorable excuse for a human being.

Horrific trainer. Slaps aversive tools on dogs and basically scares and chokes them into compliance then claims he fixed dogs. If you love your dog seek training elsewhere. There's plenty of online sources about how horrible this man is.

An unqualified scam artist and animal abuser. He swings dogs around on slip leads as well as prongs and ecollars. His approach is the same with each dog. There is a reason he is not welcome in many states and countries. He shuts dogs down. This is NOT training.

Dog abuse!! Strangling a dog, jerking them around, intimidation is NOT training. Stay away from this so called trainer.

If I could give zero stars I would. “The Dog Daddy” is an abusive, uneducated, dangerous con artist. He has multiple open cases in multiple states for animal cruelty. He has bred sick puppies and not taken responsibility for his poor breeding practices and conditions with his “breeding program & partners”. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PERSON.

This individual is routinely swinging fearful dogs around by the neck, strangling them on choke collars and slip leads, and taking lots of money from the owners of the dogs he victimizes. He's been barred from entering Australia as well as the UK and Canada after waves of protests held on his event venues. But in the US, he continues to take money from people from workshops, then cancel the workshop and not reimburse the customers (see the other reviews here on Trustpilot). He also is known to be a fraudulent breeder of German Shepherds, with a track record of selling sick puppies to people and then refusing to reimburse the customers. He keeps running from one state in the US to another to avoid having to pay damages to the victims of his crimes.

Strangling dogs into submission is not behavior modification! It's ABUSE!! WOULDN'T LET THEM IN 6 MILES OF MY DOG

He is an abusive and harmful dog trainer. A simple google search will show his abuse tactics, harmful tactics, and how several leading international organizations have released statements against him and his methods. He was denied entry into Australia last year because of his abuse tactics and millions have come out against him.

Very unreliable. It's hard to figure out where he's going to hold the class, you have to wait for him to secretly message you the place the day before or even the day of the class, so you wait to be told where the event is, then you find out surprise, it's cancelled.

When he cancels, he promises either to reschedule or set you up with a webinar or with an online class, but trying to GET has been impossible so far. Also, I didn't want an online class. I wanted in person physical help, so him cancelling and acting like an online class is just as good is bull. And no refunds.

I went to another dog trainer, and one thing I noticed was the new dog trainer gave me a list of behaviors I could expect to have taught or fixed, like an actual check list. My new trainer has dogs that compete in things and get awards in obedience and has certifications from different training schools. I don't even know if Dog Daddy has any of that.

Meanwhile, my 400 has disappeared and I never got the class. At this point I'm calling it a loss. Buyer beware, he needs to deliver and then get paid. Also, I don't know exactly what he would have taught my dog or me.... there's no checklist like I got from my trainer now, and if I don't get that behavior trained then my trainer is right here and I can find them, talk to them, and get free training until that behavior is learned. Nothing like that from Dog Daddy. I think he's a shady flim flam man. I learned my lesson and lost my money.

Augusto has no training in canine behavior whatsoever, he has no credentials. He puts dogs on prong collars and chokes them until they shut down. His methods are very abusive. Dogs are so scared in his videos they actually defacate and desperately try to get away from him.

Takes your money and cancels dates repeatedly,when "training" he is very vicious with the dogs swinging and hanging them by prong collars and pokes and jabs the dog unnecessarily in the ribs seemingly winding the dog up into aggressive outbursts to then hang the dog from the leash till it shuts down, this is not dog training this is animal abuse and fraud, on further investigation of this character he also breeds very poor dogs with a multitude of health problems !!!!! BEWARE ⚠️⚠️

Outright dog abuse and horrible handling. Choking and hurting fearful dogs until they shut down and comply isnt training. It is heartbreaking to see the dogs look for their trusted owners to help them, while the owners just stand there and watch him abuse their dogs, is awful to watch.

The only positive thing that can be said about Dog Daddy is that he has managed to unite trainers from the different methods eg force free, balanced etc in a global outcry about his vile, cruel abuse of dogs.

Inhumane, unethical, abusive treatment of animals and published online for unsuspecting public to watch and replicate.
So many people fooled across the world and so many dogs suffering because of their treatment
