This site is just shy of a scam STAY AWAY!!! They don’t care about you after you place an order. You email them and call them, and you will get nowhere. Apparently no one is home.

I never received the product & customer service refused to give me my money back

The modular pillow system I ordered from this company arrived exactly as described and came with information to help me use it well. I was nervous when I ordered it because so many other pillows had failed to help, but their 120 night guarantee gave me the confidence to try it. In the end, the pillow system did not work for me and I did have to utilize their guarantee. While that process took several messages and a good bit of back and forth, it was clear throughout the process that the customer service team wanted the best for all of us. They offered several solutions and in the end did make good on their guarantee and honored their word. I would absolutely work with and purchase from this company again. I appreciate the ways they stand behind what they promise. And in this day and age, being able to reach out and connect with humans who work at the actual company feels like a luxury - I appreciated this.

Mistakes happen and Dr. Trigger chose to make it right. Customer service truly went above and beyond. Going as far as to call and personally apologize. What impressed me most was how they took ownership and went above and beyond to make things right. Their communication, professionalism, and genuine care completely restored my trust.

I felt truly valued as a customer and would absolutely recommend them.

Tried the pillow, it wasn't comfortable for either my husband or my daughter, who were both potential users. Could NOT find how to return it on the website. No contact info ANYWHERE. Fortunately I had an email from before I got it, when I was checking on estimated delivery. I have gone through FOUR rounds of AI customer service trying to get an RMA number so I can ship the stupid thing back. The product may be great for some people but the company itself is feeling super scammy. They say they are based in Irvine, California but they drop ship directly from China and they make it REALLY hard to get a refund.

Edit: After they saw my review here, I was contacted by Dr. Trigger and spoke to a nice young man named Jonathan. I explained the issue and told him that the company REALLY needs to NOT rely so heavily on AI for customer service because the lack of ability to reach a human makes the company look sketchy. We were able to work out the return and refund situation. It was Jonathan's first day so I hope that they continue to work on getting their customer service sorted because the product itself is good, even if it didn't work for us.

Doctor Trigger has since got a new team in. They contacted me directly this week and instantly posted me out the new reinforced covers for the modular pillow. They have gone over and above with making things right and explaining what didnt work last time.
I am SO happy with how they are making things right again and I really appreciated the unexpected follow up.

Doctor Trigger has since got a new team in. They contacted me directly this week and instantly posted me out the new reinforced covers for the modular pillow. They have gone over and above with making things right and explaining what didnt work last time.
I am SO happy with how they are making things right again and I really appreciated the unexpected follow up.

I got this with full hope it would do as promised.
After a few nights, modules would detach. After 2 weeks, pain got worse and I was fighting with the pillows, thus, disturbing my sleep.
Contacted company 31st December to request a return as I was under the 120night garantee to return. No response.
I have attempted a refund from PayPal, but PayPal hasn't considered my evidence, so now I have to dispute it with them or go via my bank.
DoctorTrigger made so many promises (better sleep, less pain, 120night garantee to return) and all of them are broken.

Funny reading other reviews describing verbatim, my same experience with this company. Don't count on reaching them if an issue arises and like others, I paid the 3 day express delivery option.,...that was 10 days ago - on the site the status is "unprocessed"

Buyer Beware - Do not recommend

• 12/1 - Ordered + paid extra for 3-day expedited shipping
• 12/7 - Package arrived missing 2 of 6 pieces + 1 piece defective and the pillow case
• Multiple emails went unanswered - I had to comment publicly to get a response

12/12 I was told the missing items were “already handed to the carrier” so they couldn’t overnight my missing pieces.
That was false. Tracking shows:
• Label created 12/18
• Carrier received 12/19

When the replacement arrived, it was short again and still no pillowcase.

Refund requests were ignored.
There’s no way to request a refund on their site, and the listed support email isn’t monitored.

This isn’t a one-off mistake, it’s either a systemic fulfillment and customer service failure or blatant fraud.

I can’t recommend this brand.

Ho appena inviato il reclamo a PayPal perché non ho ricevuto niente, non ottengo risposte, su 17track.net sembra che sia tutto fermo in Cina (sì proprio in Cina), mentre DPD mi ha bloccato (é il peggior corriere al mondo) e non mi permette più il tracciamento. Il prossimo passo sarà chiedere il rimborso via PayPal e inviare una email alla Ehlers Danlos Society chiedendo di non pubblicizzare quel prodotto perché sono truffaldini. Sarà anche mia cura e mio dovere avvertire tutti qui in Italia, sia per EDS sia per NPF, di stare alla larga.
Aggiornamento dopo 21 giorni dall’ordine: hanno cancellato il mio account dal loro sito. É realmente e tristemente una truffa.
Per avere il rimborso da PayPal ho dovuto fare denuncia e caricarla sul sito PayPal, e, udite udite, il pacco é stato spedito ed é arrivato in Belgio tutto in una giornata. Poi ho seguito il tracking di BRT (il solito schifo) e ieri, 25 novembre, finalmente l’ho ricevuto nel pomeriggio. L’ho aperto filmandolo ma, fortunatamente, c’era tutto quello che avevo ordinato: cuscino e ricambio delle federe. Ora devo tornare dai carabinieri per aggiornare la situazione e chiudere il reclamo su PayPal. Che fatica, peró!

Modular pillow:

What I liked about it:
1. It was comfortable and soft on the skin as far as the pillow cases and it wasn't rough. I am a very hypoallergenic person and it wasn't scratchy or itchy like a lot of fabrics are. I really truly liked that fact.
2. It was silky, smooth type of fabric.
3. I liked how they were trying to keep in
mind about different positions that people may sleep in.
4. I did actually really like the top pillow part. The actual pillow itself was nice. It was helpful with the head and the adjustant aligning my head with my neck which was also nice.

What? I didn't like about it:
1. The velcro that connected the rest of the pillow to the head pillow. Didn't matter. It would just rip off like really bad and wouldn't stay in place.
2. Think the pillow covers were really nice and soft and smooth. However, they were so soft and smooth that they would slip all over the place on the bed. It's almost like you need a velcro for the back of the pillow so it stays on the bed haha 😂
3. It was very difficult to sleep with because the support that I was trying to have with it, wasn't working for me.
4. It was like sleeping with a slip and slide. Even though it was very comfortable for a hypoallergenic person like me, which is a positive. When it doesn't stay in place, you're not actually getting the support that you need because it keeps slipping and sliding. Unless you somehow rope it to the bed.

General thoughts:
I'm a 5'4 bigger person and because I have enough trouble with my conditions and diagnoses, which include fibromyalgia, autoimmune, muscle and nerve conditions, and 3 types of arthritis. I feel that maybe parts of the pillow were good. I just wish I didn't slip around so much and stayed in one piece. Crawling into bed with a big pillow was very difficult. I did like the support of the legs. That was nice. I like the support of the main pillow. However, the support of it staying on the bed and not moving around was very difficult. I know I get flustered easily, however when you know it's not going to work it's just not going to work. The velcro stuff kept ripping off repetitively. It also was a pain putting it together all the time every time you woke who wants to deal with six pieces of a pillow that don't stay together?

Stick to a good pregnancy pillow!
I tried this for just under 2 months before I couldn’t stand it any more.
My arms kept going numb because it propped my shoulders up. 😒
The strap that goes under it is uncomfortable and moves around.
It’s simply too stiff.
The return process is impossible.
The covers didn’t even make it through one was without busted seems.
The arm rest for lying on your side is so unnatural it was worse on my loose shoulders.

Defective product, the velcro does not hold any of the pieces together for longer than a few days which renders it completely unusable. They are entirely aware of this fault and as a result have been sending out replacement covers, hence why they are all out of stock on their site. After being offered a replacement cover and it never showing up and I asked where it was and was told the above, I then requested a refund. On their website they have a 120 day guarantee which also says "if you don't like it we'll pay you". What a complete joke. They seem to flaunt EU consumer laws, did not include shipping and taxes in a refund for defective goods and have argued the point with me over whether or not this is standard. This is the law, I am not fronting the hefty shipping costs for a completely faulty item. As far as I'm concerned this is a scam company, do not buy their product

Used this pillow throughout my third trimester and into postpartum recovery. It cradles the bump, supports hips, and stops me from rolling onto my stomach. Pairing back and side pillows was intuitive. I deducted one star simply because the memory foam is a bit firm initially but it softened nicely.

I backed their Kickstarter campaign, they never shipped the pillow though they created a shipping label for it. There is no tracking updates through UPS, I called UPS and they said that they haven’t received the item yet from Dr. trigger. I notified Dr. trigger that I would be moving and needed to give them a different address, I also notified them that I need help getting this pillow shipped. They told me it must be lost in transit, and I waited too long. They then told me they would re-ship however they have not. When I email about this, they tell me it’s my fault for not notifying them that I didn’t receive it earlier, when there was no delivery date expected because they never actually shipped the item. The service is awful, Aaron Hu, the owner/founder is non responsive also. Time for a class action!

I never expected a pillow to make such a big difference, but the Modular Pillow completely changed my sleep experience. The adjustable strap gives me personalized support, easing my chronic neck and back pain. I wake up refreshed, without the usual stiffness. It’s amazing how something so simple can have such a powerful impact. Highly recommend it to anyone struggling with sleep or discomfort!

The company uses intentionally deceptive marketing including touting a 120 day no risk trial and free shipping and returns. Then they make it nearly impossible to actually return the item. It took multiple email exchanges to even get a return address. And then they revealed I had to pay return shipping, which will be over $50, and tried to manipulate me into paying them the $50 to keep the item that I can’t actually use. When I complained directly to the company they claimed the info was on their site but it’s not. In fact they now have an add that says ‘don’t like it, we’ll pay YOU!’


I would not ever purchase from this company again.

As a dedicated side sleeper, I was getting SO frustrated with pillows. They either pushed my neck into weird angles or went completely flat after a couple weeks. Ugh. The Modular Pillow is seriously different though. It keeps my head positioned just right with those adjustable pieces, and I can customize it to my shoulder width. I wake up without that awful neck kink, and I don't have to keep punching it into shape throughout the night. My partner says I'm not tossing around nearly as much either!

Tore my rotator cuff playing softball years ago, and it's made side sleeping a nightmare ever since. My shoulder would just sink into the mattress, causing this radiating pain that would wake me up. The Modular Pillow has literally changed my sleep life. The way I can position the components gives my shoulder the exact support it needs—it's like the pillow is holding my arm in place so my shoulder doesn't collapse. First time in YEARS I'm waking up without immediately reaching for the ibuprofen. My physical therapist even noticed improved mobility after just a couple weeks of using it!!!!
