DNA Genics did a good thorough job analyzing my ancestry and hunter gatherer background for a reasonable price.

I am very satisfied with DNA Genics

They charge for a service to convert files from BAM to whatever GEDMATCH uses - IT'S A LIE. CONCERTED FILE NOT ACCEPTED BY GEDMATCH.
WHO CAN I COMPLAIN TO - NOBODY!!!

Convert Your WGS Results service does not work at all- Gedmatch reports "too matchy" even after several trials with the smaller files, also reports data as a "woman file" for a man and asks to check; also MyHeritage did not deliver and is processing since weeks (so apparently also has some issues)...

The level of accuracy.

Disappointing, I paid for an ancestry report and my sample was compared to 9,000 old samples BUT the company says it has over 13,000 samples in their database so 4,000 are missing ,why they were not compared I don't understand!

From a dna company trying to offer something different to a company who is setting the new industry standards (see their ancient shared roots, with thousands of genotyped ancient samples against whom to compare our kits, each with a thorough contextualized sample description and genetic profile visualization). From all sort of admixture reports to a varied palette of G25 calculators. Their support service is also very quick and responsive and take seriously your feedback, even when it comes to quickly implementing suggestions they think might bring an added value. It is also by far the only dna company who is technically capable to correct reported errors in a "blink of an eye" (within a day) and to innovate and update reports at a rate not even big companies are capable of. I couldn't find a better example of a company I would more highly recommend if you are also on a discovery path to better know yourself and your ancestry.

I found some of their free reports and G25 based reports to be pretty good and accurate and reflects my known ancestry pretty well. However, I made the mistake of purchasing a starter pack that includes various exclusive ancestry reports and the results were laughably inaccurate - particularly the Shared Modern Origins. The highest confidence they gave me was about 50% Scottish and 50% Welsh. Pretty disappointed. I will not be making another purchase with this service again.

I find dnagenics to be pretty accurate I have tried other companies. I find dnagenics to give me the most accurate results for my ethnicity. I am very pleased with my results. I would highly recommend this company.

Uploaded a .bam for conversion to RAW. But FamilyTree BigY are not compatible

Excellent company that offers a wide variety of genetic analysis (admixture calculator, ethnicity, Haplogroup, ancient DNA test, etc.). The value for money is very reasonable and finally, the customer service is excellent.

Excellent company with helpful customer support that always respond very quickly. There are always new features and the purchase packs include a lot of admixture reports and G25 coordinates. I've been with this company for over a year and have uploaded several DNA raw files to their platform and obtained packs for all of them. Any questions are answered swiftly. DNAgenics is without a doubt the best out there and I've only positive things to say about it. Highly recommend.

I have been a loyal customer to this company for a couple of years now. I've purchased multiple products from them and haven't been very pleased with the results of their calculators lately. I'm so very disappointed because I was also a member of the company's facebook group, recently left the group because I experienced alot of bullying over my results in the group. After notifying dnagenics about this issue, they banned me and some of the others from posting certain results in their group but did nothing to stop the bullying and gatekeeping that has been happening in the group. I don't feel valued as a customer and I didn't feel safe in dnagenics group. This company seem to only care about the money and not their customers!!! Beware and don't join their facebook group

Expected more diversity in reports for certain groups. Having paid to access more tests. Alot of these tend to favor people of European or Middle Eastern descent. I can not get much use from these.

You can't go wrong with DNAGenics! They
offer excellent services for reasonable fees. I've use their services three times and surely will again.
Beyond that they have excellent communication with their customers.

Je pense qu'il faudrait plus de précision au niveau géographique contemporain.
J'habite en Serbie et pas en Bulgarie. Bien sûr, les deux pays sont situées dans les Balkans.
Mon haplogroupe Y est G2A-L42...je ne vois aucun cas. Je ne parle pas pour G2A-L42 me concernant directement...mais pour G2A...il y a beaucoup R, de I, de J...je parle de Global Ancient Composition.

Bonjour, je maintiens ce que j'avais écrit...les ex-Yugoslave ne se considérent comme Bulgare. Je connais beaucoup qui refusent de s'inscrire chez vous à cause de cela. Moi- même je suis deçu suite au renouvellement de votre site à cause de cela.

Customer service held my hand through a complicated process with getting large files in a format/place to be uploaded/downloaded. I really appreciate how polite and patient you were.

The process was simple, straight forward and convenient. Also, quick response with results. The ancestry, etc, dna world is very, very confusing with tech needs and terminology. Anyone who can speak to the average person is greatly appreciated.
